Religion is man made theories of belief systems, which ppl adopt in order to have a moral structure to their life.

if one needs that to have a moral structure, I sincerely hope they never lose it.

The Bible is God's Word, it was God-breathed, so God knows man pretty well. He knew that man would do what was right "in his own heart". Therefore, there is a HUGE need for moral structure, and that can only come truly through Christ, not a decision to be or do better.

If I could time travel, I'd heavily guard the machine so that no one could pass through and change the event of Christ coming and dying for us.

Assuming the story of Christ is true:

So if you could go back in time to the time of Christ, you would not try to save him? You would probably sell him for 30 pieces of silver to make sure he died for your sins! You would stop anyone from trying to save him?

What if his true mission was to spread the gospel and teach people how to heal others? What if the story about him dieing for your sins is just a lie to cover up the injustice of killing a man of God?

Your attitude is equal to killing him yourself as a sacrifice to save your own butt. I find it very selfish and distasteful.

I don't like human sacrifice or animal sacrifice for the sake of some blood thirsty God. That sounds like the reptilian over lords, sons of the snake people.

I'm sorry you feel so offended. I'm as guilty as Judas was because I sin every day. Every time you lie, cheat, steal, think immoral thoughts or how you could just get back at someone for offending you, you are just as guilty. Read the Bible, and you will see that He was MEANT to die for us. He was the ultimate and ONLY sacrifice worthy of being in our place. His death is all-efficient and His blood that cleanses His children is all-sufficient.

If you think that one's bad...then try doing like my brother, mixing mashed potatoes and gravy with salsa. It looked like he vomited in a cup and was about to re-eat it laugh

He was just a nut raising hell on his soapbox!

That's not true. Otherwise, he would have condoned rising up against the Roman and Jewish governments. Instead He preached love and prayer. If you read the Bible it will tell you that God places kings and leaders in power, and God is the One who takes them out of power as well.

Jesus was and still is God in human form. He WAS because He came to obey the Father's will and fulfill the law in love. He IS because He has risen and is alive forevermore. He is fully God, yet fully man. It's a mystery to our human mind, because we are so limited. Nevertheless, it's the truth.

Does the experience of lifes ups and downs matter.
When a woman loves a man ?

What a wonderful question.

Yes I think our experiences matter. I have had two long term relationhips, one was my husband, the father of my children and the second was with a man who I loved so much, it hurt.

My husband had an affair for three years, I found out and it almost killed me, now I am over all of that and we all get on and are quite the nuclear family.

My second ended because of cultural differences, the primary factor, there were other contributing factors of course. He is American and I am European, there were many difficulties, he would explode like a shaken bottle of champagne, if he took my words the wrong way and I could bore you all with the details, but I will not.

My experiences, despite their behaviour and how I loved both these men, have contributed to how I am now, I looked at my own behaviour and their reactions and what I found was that they were both unhappy about the same things, my behaviour in those relationships, and that was hard to face, but I did.

I know what love is for me, I never want to ask it, I never want to be asked to prove it, if I love him he will know I do.

Those two men in their loving of me have taught me alot, how not to be bitter when it all ends, and I am not now, I was for a time, anger, hurt, resentment even hatred at times, but all I was doing was turning that back on myself and I was the one suffering. My recovery from that was long, and now I am happy. Happiness is an ongoing journey not a destination, and in my journey, amny things matter when I love a man.

Ms. Sommer, that makes you an incredibly beautiful woman. flowerforyou

I can relate. Do the people that say that others whine actually have the same experience? If not, there's no place for them to talk.
