Well this has been a beautiful weekend weather-wise here in New England. Great color and all I have to do is look out my window or take a small walk. I am the lucky one at this time of year Just like the three bears: Not too hot...Not too cold....Just right I hope everyone else has had their weather cooperate with them and if it didn't, well I hope you had the time to just sit and curl up and relax, or pull the covers back over and catch up on some lost sleep

OH no!!!! There's nothing that REALLY works when it comes to getting SKUNK smell out. If I could invent that.... I really would be a millionaire. Poor pooch and poor you for having to clean up the pooch. I hope the weekend ends better for you. I've been enjoying the New England weather and views this past weekend But seems there's a family problem happening in Maryland so I'll have to make a trip down there within the next month or two. Never a good thing when it's a family visit for sad reasons But I guess seeing family can always bring out the brighter side of things I had my first hot apple cider of the season earlier.... just seems to hit the spot on a cool crisp fall day Oh and Dodo.... baking is probably always healthier than frying... but I'm not sure kitty cats see it that way

I just got to see him again the other day... he still has that head of hair. I'm thinking he'll be the youngest one on my side of the family to ever get a haircut when he gets his first one My mind was only in the gutter for a second.... then peppers and onions took over those thoughts. I haven't really tried this, but it's about that time of year for a nice hot cup of tea. You could try adding it to the hot tea instead of sugar. It should melt and then it would be sweet an have that Mint Julep feel. If you do try it, let me know.... I just might end up buying some mint jam myself then

I guess in a way he did pull an all nighter. He was less than 24 hours old in this pic He doesn't look like my side much, especially with that dark hair, that's his mommy and his grand daddy on his father's side. But my grandbaby does have my son's mouth (looks only for now, the sass-back will come with time) and he does have his daddy's chin.

Thanks everyone on the well wishes. And Hippie I've only gotten to see & hold him once at the hospital and again about a week later at his home. Unfortunately they live an hour away and this is my busy time of year till around January. But you can bet I'll be seeing that grandbaby within a couple weeks or I'll get grandmom anxiety attacks.... and that won't be a pretty thing
