over here sex offenders are taken care of by the family of the victim...the "offender" rarely gets a chance to offend anyone else again.... 
you mean, that if someone raped someone, the person who was raped, her family would deal with the rapist as in beating him up, or killing him?? or have i got that wrong?? I know a story of a boy who was molested by some man, he went and told his father...dad and friends got the molester....the next day Chester the Molester left town..... |

i think everyone Should mind there own buisness. stop trying to run peoples lives that is for the government. i also believe that no one has the right to judge anyone. i do not believe in laws, rules or judgement in anyway. i do believe that if someone tryies to hurt you in anyway you should be able to protect yourself how ever you feel fit to. i also believe that to a certan age parents should be able to retaliate. to some one sexualy melesting there kid after a certain age it's up to the kid to take care of them selfs. i said this befor and i WILL say this again. survival of the fitest, is what is wrong with this world. Well that's even worse, that leaves him free to do it again, and it gives him no chance to be reformed. The justice systems sucks, I fully agree, however that "eye for an eye" mentality, doesn't always work either..... |

I work with a guy who is a registered SO... I couldn't believe it when I found out... I don't know the particulars of the situation... at first it did make me feel very uncomfortable... but I guess I would say that I would be surprised to hear that he offended again... he seems like ur average every day person... but I keep my guard up... but would I like him living next door to me the truth is no... but even if he did... and others do... I still keep my guard up...I guess this is what the world is coming to... atleast now we can easily find out (thanks to the internet)... and that keeps us one step ahead..

MEEKER, Okla. -- A Shawnee family is out of jail on Thursday, facing charges of kidnap and torture.
Kenneth Cowan and two others were released from the Lincoln County Jail late Thursday, accused of drugging, beating and sexually assaulting a 44-year-old Meeker man they believed to be a child molester. Police said the alleged incident happened inside a Meeker home on Feb. 19. Lincoln County sheriff's deputies said the family kidnapped and beat the man after Cowan's two girls accused the Meeker man of molesting them. The mother of the alleged victim said Cowan had threatened her son for weeks. "It will take awhile, but he will be alright. I am angry. No person should be subject to such torture," the mother told Eyewitness News 5. One of the two girls later recanted her story of molestation. SHAWNEE, Okla. -- A third man wanted in the alleged kidnapping and assault of a Meeker man has been arrested by tribal police in Shawnee. Ed Wilkie was arrested by Sac & Fox police about 1 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Shawnee. He's now in the Pottawatomie County jail without bail on kidnapping and assault and battery charges. Wilkie is charged in Lincoln County with Kenneth Cowan and Cowan's son Brian with kidnapping and torturing Anthony Mayfield. Mayfield said he was held for 14 hours and accused of making sexual comments to two teenage girls. Kenneth Cowan's wife Rebecca is charged with being an accessory to a felony. One must be very careful when assuming. Innocents are charged everyday. As the guilty are not. I wish I could have found the rest of this story. He was kept in a large doghouse and beaten and raped by these people. Or was it a shed? I can't remember. He was found in fecies and it was just aweful. Kat |
