I think they should be shot!!!

I always thought of having them neutered like dogs.
now that`s a good idea.
after reading some of the horror stories on here how can anyone in their right mind have anything good to say about such a person.maybe it should happen to one of your female family members.

or maybe you should have comprehended the fact that there are different levels of sex offenders. Not everyone on the list is a danger to society. Wow

Bingo, the biggest problem with the registry is that people have to be put on it for joke charges. This is why it is a failed system currently, at one point in time maybe this was not true however it does need to be looked at and used properly as to truely serve the public of their interest. This thing gets used for people with sex dolls in a motel room if room service happens to walk in on them, it gets used for kissing a young girl on the cheek even, it gets used when someone flashes themselves in public (debateable). It is in my opinion a joke anymore.

im with you on everything, but about the flashing in public, thats not good, children could see that. at one of my jobs we did sexual counselling, and any man who said things like flashing in public, would have to be dealt with by social services our other means. also they might start in thinking of flashing, but normally it leads a lot further into then rapind someone etc. ive heard many sick stories, and compared to having sex with a blow up doll is just a joke. they should be dealing with the offenders, instead of wasting time dealing with a man who has sex with a blow up doll!!!explode explode

sorry i dont know if i explained that right.

what ive saw happen is,

some men start thinking about flashing in public, and then these thoughts go further and further, and down the line they end up raping someone. maybe thats why some of them are put on the register for minor things, because theres a high chance down the line they will do something a lot more serious.

That's why I put debateable in there, it is in some forms debateable. Such as when a girl gets drunk at Mardi Gras starts flashing, boom sex offender. Though rare it does happen.

sex offenders r bad people but we couldnt just "round them up and shoot them" that would be fascism, and its a slippery slope from murdering criminals to murdering "undesirables"

yes i know you put debatable and i was giving you my opinion, i wasnt critising you in anyway, like you said its debatable, therefore others will give there point of view.

but mainly i was trying to point out in general (not to you) that men can start with a minor offence, but then lead to something very serious further down the line. i think thats why minor sexual offences are documented, as theres a good chance they will do something worse further on down the line. jmo

I have a nephew who is a registered sex offender....he was 13 at the time and she was 15. She got all nervous about being pg and told her mom...they prosecuted the boy for statatory(sp) rape, contributing to the delinquency, and a couple more. Duhhhh...and she walked away free. So, in another 30 years, he is still a sex offender and wants to live in YOUR neighborhood. Maybe they should "nut" him, or maybe should have sent him to Siberia, or some concentration camp? Just my thoughts on the matter:angry: Oh, by the way, he is 16 now and can date. The girl is having her 2nd baby here in another couple months, both as a result of "rape" by guys younger than her, according to her dad, with whom I work.

This is what I am talking about!!! Situations like this! WTH do you do? Heres my questions, my son was 18 and his little gf was 15. Of course you know what the scenerio was and she got all scared and went to the school counselors. The police came and read him his rights BUT he denied everything, and nothing came out of it. Her parents refused to press charges as long as they stay away from each other.
Now she is 16 and he is 19...so they can legally see each other! BUT heres the problem, her father found out they were talking again. He called my son and threatened to press those old charges on him. How long do we have to worry about those charges? He is threatening my son to call the authorities IF he ever talks to his daughter again. Of course my son is not going to bother with her...BUT I am curious if he can really do this. Does anyone have a clue?
I know one thing, as soon as my son is free of any possible charges being filed...I am going to call around and see what I can do about some kind of law being passed to protect the guys from these kinds of things happening. I don't think its fair to have to worry about being threatening for a few years that if someone don't get their way....they can press the old charges!

and also i know this for a fact

they can keep cases open, so if years down the line you remember something, for example they couldnt remember at the time maybe due to a head injury, the case is still there, as it was left open. thats just a example.

like i said, i didnt say he was wrong. this happened to someone i knew and the girl told him she was over 16 and she wasnt.16 is the legal age limit

was the case left open??

because i had a head injury once, i was found flat on the ground lying on my tummy, with a head injury, and i couldnt remember a thing, so the police left the case open, and the case is still open now, incase i remember something, this happened a few years ago. so cases can be left open for a long time. ive never remembered a thing even to this day, but i did have bad concusion.

i think everyone Should mind there own buisness. stop trying to run peoples lives that is for the government. i also believe that no one has the right to judge anyone. i do not believe in laws, rules or judgement in anyway. i do believe that if someone tryies to hurt you in anyway you should be able to protect yourself how ever you feel fit to. i also believe that to a certan age parents should be able to retaliate. to some one sexualy melesting there kid after a certain age it's up to the kid to take care of them selfs. i said this befor and i WILL say this again. survival of the fitest, is what is wrong with this world. STOP SAVING THE WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!indifferent

That is truly and utterly stupid.

all i know is, i can bring up that case anytime i want to in my life, if i can remember something, it was never closed, it was left open.

so if the case was left open, then yes, but if the case was closed i dont know.

and your son shouldnt have been done for rape, i can tell you exactly what rape is, and what your son did, doesnt even come close to it.
