No planes have crashed into any buildings in the last 7 years. that plan took almost 10 years to come to pass...dont think there arent a few more in the making...just because one dumb-a$$ Texan has taken credit for "protecting the US" doesnt mean he actually did anything..well, except invade a sovereign country, put your country into debt and quietly shave away at your rights..but hey, no planes have crashed into any buildings in 7 years..right, right...?

Which is why I say, we reinstate a new deadline where Iraq is required to be self-sufficient to the point htat when we leave at the culmination of said deadline, they will not fail. And we must above all else, leave by that deadline, or htey will continue to use us for ever. excuse me...but wasnt Iraq already self-sufficient and able to protect its own borders before the US, under the leadership of hurricane George, bombed it back into the stone age..???  you put her there and now you expect her to pick herself up alone and unaided??..I hate to say this but the US is now responsible for Iraq and its going to be a long, long time before anyone gets to go back home.. |

Does anybody remember Jimmy Hoffa? My father showed me a picture of my grandfather standing next to Jimmy Hoffa. Hoffa was standing with a small group of truck drivers in the photo. I remember when he dissapeared, rumor had it that he was ground up in a beef processing plant...the joke for a long time when one ate a hamburger was, " theres a little bit of Jimmy with every bite.."

there are a number of people that search the net and copy/paste articles which reflect their political beliefs..I have no problem with it, its far better than the subjective, personal opinions that get posted and seem to foster only a spirit of argument and name-calling.

Here is a creative approach to redistribution of wealth.... Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read 'Vote Obama, I need the money.' The guy had more guts than a Tennis Racket Factory sitting there showing his support.....but then... Once in the restaurant, I noticed my waiter had on a "Obama 08" tee shirt. When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to him while he had given me exceptional service, that his tee shirt made me feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the wealth. I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to someone that I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. He stood there in disbelief and angrily stormed away. I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy looked at me in disbelief but seemed grateful. As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific redistribution experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn. Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to catch on, with those of us actually doing the work. a 3 dollar tip?? Miserly AND meanspirited..classic "Quickie" |
