Pay to play, this is the American way!

And it appears that V. Stiviano prefers gold to silver as she banks her own way to success after devising a clever way to catch her ex-boyfriend in a predictable and compromising situation.

Ms. Stiviano, while knowing her ex-lover's proclivities and previously established boundaries made it a point to antagonize him by making a public move that she knew could draw him out.

I dare say she was hoping he would utter the very words she wanted to elicit from him for her own benefit, as well as for the benefit of those who are helping her promote this tactic.

Donald Sterling, owner of the Los Angels Clippers has a well established track record of sponsoring his personal minority preferences by including some while excluding others.

And regardless to which side of the track his feet are firmly planted it appears that everyone around him grows richer either by earning or winning a piece of the American pie he shares willingly or begrudgingly depending on the circumstances.

Only now however, while everyone involved plays politics putting on airs of disgust and outrage, and publicly takes sides in their effort to oust him from the limelight do his previous supporters strip him of his lifetime achievement award they were to honor him with next month.

It's reported that Mr. Sterling earned this public recognition because his organization gave more to the minority community than all the others.

So ultimately, who is going to be served and who is going to be benched by shining a light on this lucrative, albeit sensitive, and public opinion generated agenda now being broadly exposed?

Can't wait to see how this new game plays out...

smokin

On the other hand, while not knowing the details, if the Sterlings are in the midst of divorcing over Mr. Sterling's lifestyle choices, perhaps this maneuver is meant to divest them of their capital before divvying up their assets in the final decree...

Like I said my dear Watson... this case is very, very interesting... and we have to wait and see...

Reality show drama.

LBJ, DUMBOCRAP, was blatantly racist and the people loved him.

If this dude is handing out freebies, I doubt the gibsmedats will make much of a fuss.

Compare ambalance chaser Shaftem.

He doesn't give, he's a show clown who takes from the communities.

I don't understand what money is to be gained from this,, its not like its something that can be used as blackmail since everyone heard it,,,,

at worst, he will lose some players or be replaced,, and the money being paid to him will be paid to someone else,,,,well, except for the agreed upon severance and other payments that will no doubt be negotiated behind closed doors

nothing will be lost or gained,, he may just have to 'retire' earlier and lose a few black companions(or mixed,,lol)

neither involved are angels, for me, its not about the one going with a married man ,,,,its just about the oddness of having a life so enriched by black people and yet feeling like it is somehow beneath a 'white' woman to be seen with them,,,

to his companions, I imagine its the most shocking

imagine having a boyfriend , no matter how good he was too you or others in your race/ethnicity,,,,and finding out that he felt it beneath him to be 'seen' with you or them,,,it would be hurtful and no doubt change ones desire to be 'seen' with him as well, or to be around him at all,,

I mean I have heard and even due to Americas history, can understand(though not agree) with older people feeling like interracial 'dating' is somehow not right or appropriate

but this feeling that even just 'being seen' with someone of another race is so terrible, is just,,,,,,the strangest version of 'non hateful' racism I have ever heard,,,lol

Like everything in Los Angeles there's money to be made in the stories people tell and sell to the tabloids, reality TV shows, maybe even made for prime time TV, Monday night movies if the story is interesting enough, etc.

However Ms. Stiviano stands to gain from her tricky-dicky maneuver she is no saint looking out for minorities interests by exposing an ex-lovers rant he made during a discussion she intentionally instigated by posing publicly in a photo she didn't even appear to be happy in.

Mr. Stirling said during the conversation that she could do anything she wanted too, be with anybody she wanted to be with, he just didn't want her flaunting it in his face on social media and at his games.

Sure he didn't say it politically correct but he thought they were having a private conversation, and she already knew his viewpoint on interacial dating.

While I'm assuming that's not the first time he told her that. But she did it anyway to spite him and instigate a backlash ready and waiting with the recorder going. This is my take on what I'm seeing unfold.

We don't know how much she's been paid already for the tape and all its residual benefits that stand to be gained in this high profile take down of a well known public figure there in LA where people both love and hate him.

There's way more to this story than just a jilted woman pretending to save her little corner of the world by exposing her tyrant of an ex-lover. IMO.

This is a typical Samson and Delilah maneuver. And I hope we find out who put her up to this before the credits role....

And so the story unfolds...

1) Mrs. Sterling is suing Ms. Stiviano for being an evil woman
2) Magic Johnson is front and center to buy the Clippers
3) Magic and Ms. Stiviano had motive to set up Mr. Sterling
4) The NBA is the first in line to fine Mr. Sterling 2.5 million
5) The media is fanning the flames of racial hatred

In everything I've learned so far...

1) The Sterlings are standing up for their own cultural beliefs and they're being punished for it.
2) Mr. Sterling hasn't called black people derogatory names in the recordings or said anything even resembling true hatred.
3) Mr. Sterling was asking Ms. Stiviano to respect his cultural beliefs and to respect their relationship by not flaunting her relationship with Magic in public. I'm sure Magic didn't appreciate that.
4) Mr. Sterling is easy pickins' because his beliefs vie with the mainstream racial equality beliefs.

But when it all gets boiled down, his words didn't actually do any real harm physically or mentally to anybody. Instead, he's being taken to the cleaners for offending people's sensibilities.

And it's all about money, power, and taking an 80 year old man and his wife down a few pegs by...

Ms. Stiviano who wants to win her legal battle against Mrs. Sterling.

Magic, who wants the team from Mr. Sterling...

This was definitely a neatly planned setup, and you can tell by the leading questions Ms. Stiviano was getting Mr. Sterling to answer.

Seems to me if the Sterlings have a good legal team they will be able to see right through all this.

But, I'm almost positive there's still more to this story...

P.S.

Also seems to me that there is bias (Even hatred) being perpetrated against the Sterlings by everyone who is attacking them for their cultural beliefs.

Don't hear anything about the double standard though do we?

to be continued...

It is a bit of a coincidence that magic is in that picture and then immediately after the story breaks he wants to buy the team. Its valued at $750 million so I am very curious to see what he is forced to take.

Maybe, he could sell it to David Duke for $10.00 and keep majority interest.

Right, a coincidence... see the look of pure hatred on Stiviano's face while Magic and the other woman are smiling ear to ear.

If that doesn't send a clear message...

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, aren't the Sterlings Jewish? So it's the poor blacks against the rich Jews mentality....

The way they're over reacting you'd think he strung one in a tree. Instead of simply saying he doesn't want to associate with them.

It's a class issue not a hate issue, plain and simple, but it's one that can make people rich while they control politics.

If President Obama wasn't in office right now I wonder if there would have been this much backlash.

With a good legal team he should be able to prove entrapment for material gain and be able to keep the sports team. IMO.

After all, Mr. Sterling has made his cultural beliefs clear to every one all these years and nobody had a problem with him so long as he paid up. They were overlooking all his "class division" tactics and had him scheduled to receive a lifetime achievement award next month for all the money he's paid out making the minorities happy.

His beliefs, attitude, and public positions didn't seriously offend anybody up until now.

So what's different?

Magic wants the team and he knew how to get it.

So a plan was devised whereby he could.

At least this is how it looks on the surface. Until the media starts doing damage control if it becomes necessary.

There's too many eyes on for him to be able to pull a fast one like that. The media and the NBA would have a field day.

Mr. Sterling hasn't committed any crimes. Standing up for your cultural preferences isn't a punishable offense. By forcing him to sell the status quo will be sending a clear message that reverse bigotry is perfectly acceptable so long as you have public opinion in your corner.

I know plenty of people who aren't prejudice, myself for one, but interracial dating is not something I would do either because I wouldn't be comfortable with it.

Here in southern Alabama there's still a divide in cultures, and you don't see a lot of interracial mixing.

Does that make me a bigot?

What about those who hate me for not wanting to forgo my cultural beliefs? Are they bigots by trying to force me to give up my beliefs to make them happy?

I think it's an extremely slippery slope when the mainstream starts publicly ridiculing and punishing people for simply saying they don't want to associate with others. And by forcing them to make the others happy by stripping them of all their worldly goods is public robbery. IMO.

This whole thing that's happening in LA right now is ridiculous but it's a power play so anything goes.

A rich old man being taken down by a young gold digging woman who is feuding with the man's wife, probably for interfering in their marriage, etc. How tasteless is this whole thing?

And I'm surprised our President even gave his support either way. If he had been white do you think the liberals could have easily convinced him to speak up in this tawdry affair?

The blacks still hate the whites over the Rodney King issue, and it looks to me like they've figured out a politically correct way to get even with anyone they want to take down and confiscate their belongings.

Instead of street riots by the average folks, we're watching how the money talks out there.

lol, the dude got caught with his foot in his mouth

whats different is that the public knows,,,,the fans know, the players know, his employees and employers know,,,

no one forced him to go out with a 'gold digging' woman, regardless of how old he is,, I have no empathy for him in this,,,,they are both CONSENTING adults to that relationship and both just as guilty for anything happening within it,,,

plain and simple,, he is a millionaire with or without the team and the public knowledge of his views can cost the league in terms of money, fans and distraction,,,,

now that ownership might be open, many athletes will step forward to fill in, including the target of his apparent ,,um,,,,,rant on embarrassing black folks to be seen with,,,

and no , he didn't say DATE,, he said WALKING WITH, being SEEN WITH,,,there is nothing in the tape suggesting there was any dating ,, just a photo (taken with another female on magics other arm even)

he has many black folks sweating and injuring himself to line his pockets, and if he had only been talking about 'interracial DATING' , I doubt there would be such controversy,, but what he kept repeating was 'being seen with',,, which simply implies that you are 'SEEN' with someone,, even just posing in a photo,,,,

he is an owner, so he doesn't have to DATE black folks, and not agreeing with interracial dating is not the issue

but he works with and has many black folks earning his pockets so being so disagreeable to just being 'seen' with them is on a whole other level,,,,

and now that those black folks who are beneath being seen with know this of him,,,,,it sucks

but it comes with the territory

but , on the bright side, he wont have to suffer the humiliation of being seen walking with black folks any more,,,lol

We'll see how all this plays out to know the answer to that.

Personally, I don't know any of the people involved so I'm not on either side. I'm giving my personal opinions about what I see happening. If one side looks worse than the other, that's their own doing.

Likewise, if both sides look just as bad that's politics. laugh

I agree, I don't know them either

I just know what I heard on the tape and that's an f'ed up view for someone who has made so much money from the work of those 'black folks' that a 'delicate' white woman shouldn't be seen in public with

and I know an old man was involved with a young woman, we can speculate as to why he CONSENTED to do so and why she DID, but at the end of the day, its his views that don't mix with his supporters, fans , or employers,,,,

I don't believe there was any set up, except maybe the young woman deciding to expose him,,,for WHATEVER reason

mj has plenty of success in business without taking the risk and trouble of conspiring against someone,,,,

I truly believe , if he really feels that way about black folks, he shouldn't continue to live under the stress of needing them to make his living,,,,
