Topic: Has Sterling been clipped? Really? | |

Perhaps, it's the wife who's the racist. She's suing to get back millions of dollars worth of cars, home and other gifts her husband gave to a black chick he was banging. How can a dude who is/was banging a black chick be a race hater? It will be very refreshing to hear the court has awarded her the community assets her husband gave Stiviano - AKA, Vanessa Maria Perez, Monica Gallegos, Maria Monica Perez Gallegos and Maria Valdez There's a difference between being a true race hater and not wanting to socialize with others who we just don't want to rub shoulders with. Just like everybody against him is using his personal conversation as a weapon to publicly ostracize him. To me there's no difference in what they're saying and doing. It's just that Mr. Sterling wasn't saying it with decorum or political correctness because he probably didn't think he'd have to eat his words. There's more to this back story then we know right now that's caused the extreme reaction to a harmless conversation. I've pretty much got my suspects and ideas in mind just from the research I've done since this story first broke. And I hope the NBA Board who's been issued an ultimatum by Mayor Johnson to see it his way or get the boot too, bases their decisions on whether they want to force the man to sell over this slight of words or not, uses their discretion wisely and fairly. After all, they have access to the facts and their motives better than we do, and it's not difficult for them to find out the who, why, what, and how much involved to take logical and not emotional action from here. They are setting a dangerous precedent after all, and if it's going to be this easy to "fell a bigot" according to Mayor Johnson, (and one of the more wealthier ones) then people all over the world better be prepared for the future fall out... .... Mr. Sterling is an 80 year old man with cancer. He's under a lot of personal stress. Might even be on heavy pain medication or going through chemo. And he was being mindf**ed by his obvious to everybody else but him gold digging vengeful ex-mistress. He lost his patience with her incessant badgering and asked her to leave him alone several times and she refused to let up until she got the damaging evidence she was after. Any good lawyer can see right through all this and should be able to get his name cleared if he really wants too. At the most he should have been suspended pending review of the allegations instead he was unmercifully spiked and hung there to die right in front of the entire world. Believe it or not elderly people are fragile. Even the men who have to put on a brave face so they don't expose any weakness. And when you know you might not have long to live your psyche becomes even more delicate. And it's a shameful thing to have to witness how all this went down while everybody puffs themselves up acting like they've conquered one of our real biased enemies from the middle east. Shameful indeed. I wonder what the world really thinks of us now. Obama Denounces NBA Team Owner's Racist Remarks www.youtube.com/watch?v=lq2T0BtnVI4 "With respect to the statements by the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, for our Malaysian audience this is a sports team, basket team in the United States. The owner is reported to have said some incredibly offensive racist statements that were published. I don't think I have to interpret those statements for you they kind of speak for themselves. When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk. And that's what happened here. I have confidence in the NBA commissioner Adam Silver, a good man, will address this. Obviously, the NBA is a league that is, it is beloved by fans all across the country. It's got an awful lot of African American players, it's steeped in African American culture, and I suspect that the NBA is going to be deeply concerned in resolving this." "I will make one larger comment about this. You know we, the United States continues to wrestle with the legacy of race, and slavery and segregation, that's still there, the vestiges of discrimination. We've made enormous strides but, you know you're going to continue to see this percolate up every so often. And I think that we just have to be clear and steady in denouncing it, teaching our children differently, but also remaining hopeful that part of why some statements like this stand out so much is because there has been this shift in how we view ourselves. And like Malaysia, we constantly have to be on guard against racial attitudes that divide us rather than embracing our diversity as a strength. And I know that the people of Malaysia are committed to wrestling with those issues as well, and we have to be committed to staying on top of it, and we will." www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ig7yLiOVpy0 Woman Behind Donald Sterling Scandal: V. Stiviano Speaks Out www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMtGQNSOcUs AN ABC News exclusive interview with V. Stiviano. The woman at the center of the Donald Sterling controversies; speaking out about the firestorm sparked by a taped conversation between her and the billionaire LA Clippers owner. In the face of the scandal she's been hiding behind a visor, until now. She sat down with ABC's Barbara Walters for the first time just a short while ago. Barely audible... A man walking with her and the news crew tells Ms. Stiviano... "Daily skate everyday just right there." To which she replies, "Just one block?" Barbara Walters: "You have seen her all week; skating in front of her house with that odd visor covering her face hoping to quench the paparazzi's thirst for her story." Stiviano: "You guys want some water?" Walters: "Or exiting a restaurant espousing presidential aspirations." Stiviano: "One day I will become president of the United States of America." Walters: "Who is she? She is 31 year old V. Stiviano, the woman often at Sterling's side at Clipper games, and she is nearly 50 years his junior." Stiviano: "I'm his confidant, his best friend, his silly rabbit." Barely audible in the background... Interviewer: "His what?" Stiviano: "His silly rabbit." Walters: "Tonight, V. Stiviano speaking for the first time." Stiviano: "Our relationship started off, me working for Mr. Sterling in his non-profit organization the Donald T. Sterling Foundation. And it's evolved to so much more, on a level in which it's become a big scandal." Walters: "It became a scandal?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Yeah, why?" Stiviano: "How and why doesn't even matter anymore, its here. And some things needed to be brought to the light." Walters: "The woman at the center of the Donald Sterling controversy. The billionaire's confidant, heard first on these tapes." Sterling: "Yeah, it bothers me a lot if you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people." Stiviano: "Do you know that you have a whole team that's black that plays for you?" Sterling: "You just, do I don't? I support them and give them food, and clothes, and cars, and houses." Walters: "Racist comments from LA Clippers owner that rocked the nation and may cost him what he loved most." NBA Commissioner Silver: "I am banning Mr. Sterling... FOR LIFE!" Walters: "But now, V. Stiviano is defending him." Walters: "Is Donald Sterling a racist?" Stiviano: "No, I don't believe it in my heart." Walters: "Had you heard him say derogatory things about minorities in general and blacks in particular?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "You've heard him say derogatory things?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Don't they sound racist to you?" Stiviano: "I think the things he says are not what he feels. Anyone can say anything in the heat of the moment." Walters: "Not everybody makes alleged racist remarks in the heat of the moment. Sometimes in the heat of the moment you say things..." Stiviano: "That you mean." Walters: "That you mean." Stiviano: "Or that you feel." Walters: "Yeah. Explain how he says these things." Stiviano: "I think Mr. Sterling's from a different generation than I am. I think he was brought up to believe those things." Walters: "What things?" Stiviano: "Segregation," Walters: "Uh huh." Stiviano: "whites and blacks, he was brought up to believe these belief in his own way, and they're ingrated in him deep and rooted in his body and in his mind. But through his actions he's shown that he's not a racist. Through his actions he's shown to be a very generous and kind man." Walters: "She claimed that these conversations were never intended to become public." Stiviano: "These conversations were in private nevertheless they became public, and because they did a lot of people have been hurt by it. His wife, his children." Walters: "So how did they come to light?" "These things that he said to you were recorded, did you know that?" Stiviano: "Yes, I recorded them." Walters: "But then how did they become public information?" Stiviano: "Someone leaked the audio, or sold the audio, or gave the audio to what I believe to be TMZ. A friend or a so called friend of mine, I was planning on quitting working with Mr. Sterling a few months back. No one understands my pain and feeling, and I was reaching out to a few of my friends. I shared an audio with them where they can empathize and sympathize my feelings, my way of being." Walters: "You are half black and half Mexican, and you were very close to Donald Sterling?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "You do not consider him a racist?" Stiviano: "No." Walters: "No." "Stiviano says that over their two and half year relationship she was helping him to change his point of view." Stiviano: "People were used to Mr. Sterling being Mr. Sterling. And here comes a V and everything change. Mr. Sterling is nice and kind to everyone; he greets and treats people with equality. And I brought that light to him." Walters: "So you helped him to become a better person?" Stiviano: "In every way." Walters: "Uh huh." Stiviano: "In every way." Walters: "But the question on everyone's mind." "Can you tell me what your relationship with Donald Sterling is?" Stiviano: "I'm Mr. Sterling's right hand arm, MAN." Walters: "Are you in love with Donald Sterling?" Stiviano: "I love him." Walters: "I'm not sure that's what I asked." "Are you in love?" Stiviano: "No, I'm not in love." Walters: "You love him what, like a friend, you love him like a romance?" Stiviano: "I love him like a father figure." Walters: "Like a father? Do you and Donald Sterling have a financial arrangement? You say you're his assistant, does he pay you?" Stiviano: "Yes. At first started paying me as an employee, and then he started paying me off the books." Walters: "Is he still paying you off the books?" Stiviano: "No." Walters: "No." "You are one of his assistants?" Stiviano: "I'm HIS assistant." Walters: "You are his assistant." Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "You were very honest so I'm going to be blunt as well. Donald Sterling has been married for over 60 years, where do you fit into that life?" Stiviano: "I don't. Mr. Sterling's marriage is Mr. Sterling's marriage and relationship. I'm not part of that life." Walters: "What's the biggest misconception about you?" Stiviano: "That I'm a mistress, or a whore, or a woman of the night." Walters: "People have seen you walking with a visor, why the visor?" Stiviano: "I'm hurting, I'm in pain. It hurts to see someone that you care about hurting. It hurts to see people speculate; assume, say, throw darts at you when they don't know you. When they don't know your story, when they don't know the truth, all based on here say and assumptions, it hurts." Walters: "She was with Sterling just moments before she sat down with me. "Ms. Stiviano you just left Donald Sterling. What is his state of mind right now?" Stiviano: "Confuse. I think he feels very alone, not truly supported by those around him. Tormented, emotionally traumatized." Walters: "From what?" Stiviano: "From everything. I think he's highly more traumatized and hurt by the things that he said himself. I think he can't even believe or understand sometimes the things he says." Walters: "Do you think that Donald Sterling should apologize?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "Will he apologize?" Stiviano” "Only God knows." Walters: "What advice are you giving Donald Sterling now?" Stiviano: "I just want him to come to his senses. I want him to believe it and feel it and to genuinely feel apologetic to the world. I’m giving him the advice that he should apologize to the nation, to the world, for his racist remarks." (Her V. dance) "For Nightline, I'm Barbara Walters, in Los Angeles." It's even more obvious from this one on one interview that V has ulterior motives. And her intent was to destroy and conquer while reaping whatever rewards she could glean from her dismissed employment with Mr. Sterling. She admits planning on quitting and giving up her lucrative job with him several months ago and showed her hand to her friends who helped her plot his demise that they together intended to air publicly as more leverage to manipulate/force him into submission. She admits that her private knowledge needed to be brought to the light, while feigning innocence and culpability when her goal was accomplished. I'm surprised that a man in his position didn't get his employee to sign a nondisclosure agreement though. It does appear that V felt an intimacy with Mr. S to such an extent that she coveted his wife and children's place in his life. And she intended to hurt all of them by any means available to her. Mr. S was paying V to be his right hand arm (assistant) and she saw a way to get even with him if she couldn't get everything she wanted for her services. I see jealousy, pride, hurt, anger, manipulation, vindictiveness and triumph all throughout her public testimony, and would really like to see those she plotted against him with her brought to answer for their conduct too. Now that she's instigated his severe public punishment for cutting ties with her after seriously over compensating her in the two and half years they were together, she's gloating, even strutting in righteous indignation over what she sees as her take down of a wealthy and powerful yet wayward man. And she still wants more by using the media and the public to get Ms. S to fall in line with her gold digging agenda. Ultimately she wants to see him grovel by having him publicly apologize for a predicament she created with intent to scam and pillage. Before Mr. S apologizes to anybody he inadvertently offended though, I'd like to see V and her accomplices admit their part too, and also publicly apologize for involving the worldwide public in their nasty grownup game of show and tell. My personal advice to Mr. S at this point would be that if he needs an assistant now that V's position is vacant it would be wiser to hire an outsider without ties that can be used to string him up to the nearest tree. Of course these are just my thoughts and way of viewing this situation. But I'm very interested to see how all this pans out. It's good to see Mr. Sterling's attorney taking a stand. Hopefully V and her co-conspiring compatriots will learn not to shyt where they eat, just in case there's a next time. And so the LA story goes... |

she will get whatever she deserves for merely sharing the truth about him when he thought he had it well hidden
and he will get whatever he deserves now that the truth has been exposed,,, so, they might both be ********,, and karma will come back on both of them, as it already is on Sterling from what I got of it, he is still CONSENTUALLY leaning on her in some way,, and I didn't hear her say a negative thing about him going so far as to say he isn't racist and doesn't say what he means although he was raised to BELIEVE what he says shes a confused puppy too,, they are a good match,,,lol I don't know or believe that there was anything conspired or malicious in any of it personally, and, if it were, her karma will come too,,, |

Now I'm confused... Question in rebuttal. V claims her whole reason for accidentally letting her friend with connections expose her employer's dark side was to save the planet from antiquated segregationist ideology and lingering practices. Yet when asked directly if she believes her employer is a racist she replied, "NO! I don't believe it in my heart." This presents an obvious conflict in her testimony. If she seriously believes Mr. S isn't a racist then what was her true motivation behind getting him to answer her badgering questions in a way that could make him appear to be one in her public revelations that she already admitted was her intent all along? After all, alleged racism of such severity that it deserved a worldwide platform so everyone could witness his public humiliation and lifetime banning from the NBA is supposed to be the crux by which all these serious actions have been taken against him. Yet the main witness who's bringing the allegations doesn't stand by her own story. Now the NBA wants to strip him of his team. But there's no consistency whatsoever in anything those in authority are saying or doing when it's matched up against the unfolding evidence to see if the punishments fit the crimes. Since when is getting caught with your pants down and becoming vulnerable a punishable offense of nuclear proportions? Hypothetically speaking, of course. She's an obvious self centered, greedy narcissist and can't keep her story straight to save her own head. Picking her testimony to pieces and exposing her true intent should make it easier for Mrs. S's attorney to prove V's malicious and underhanded "evil" against Mr. S, thereby squelching her tongue and recouping losses. And if Mr. S is still under V's spell then he would be wise to do at least one thing she says in another version I'm now analyzing, and that's to save himself by STAYING THE HELL AWAY FROM HER!! He's caught between a rock and a hard place but it's not over until it's over and he's a proud man too. Also, if there are more skeletons hidden in the closet that V intends to use as more leverage against Mr. S to win the lawsuit involving Mrs. S then the truth can come out no matter how embarrassing it might be for public viewing. V was obviously alluding to a lot of private issues in her barely veiled testimony and she's dying to expose it if it will gain her higher ground. This case is what it is. It is LA and nothing stays dark very long when there's money to be made. There's still more to this story and it's not going away, while I'm just curiously pondering out loud. |

she will get whatever she deserves for merely sharing the truth about him when he thought he had it well hidden and he will get whatever he deserves now that the truth has been exposed,,, so, they might both be ********,, and karma will come back on both of them, as it already is on Sterling from what I got of it, he is still CONSENTUALLY leaning on her in some way,, and I didn't hear her say a negative thing about him going so far as to say he isn't racist and doesn't say what he means although he was raised to BELIEVE what he says shes a confused puppy too,, they are a good match,,,lol I don't know or believe that there was anything conspired or malicious in any of it personally, and, if it were, her karma will come too,,, I think the story should be long dead,, he isn't the first passive racist there ever was and probably not the first rich one, let his employers figure out their best course just like mine or anyone elses employers have the right to do I think just as some are trying too hard to hang him, others are trying too hard to hang his assistant they are both complicit if there is adultery they are both living with their own versions of hypocrisy and greed Who are his alleged employers? |

he has no employers, per se,,,,,, but he has a CONTRACT that he agreed to with the NBA and upon breech of that contract, it states that commissioner has discretion to decide upon certain actions,,, Then, what was all the his employer BS? Just because a group suggests he do something, doesn't mean he has to oblige them. That's for attorneys judges to work out. Which do you qualify for? Me. I am only qualified to offer my opinion.My/our opinions and a buck-fity might get us a cup of coffee. Yes, he has no employers, he has no employers today. Sung to the tune of Yes, we have no bananas. |

I think he can't even believe or understand sometimes the things he says." Walters: "Do you think that Donald Sterling should apologize?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "Will he apologize?" Stivianoâ "Only God knows." Walters: "What advice are you giving Donald Sterling now?" Stiviano: "I just want him to come to his senses. I want him to believe it and feel it and to genuinely feel apologetic to the world. Iâm giving him the advice that he should apologize to the nation, to the world, for his racist remarks." (Her V. dance) "For Nightline, I'm Barbara Walters, in Los Angeles." It's even more obvious from this one on one interview that V has ulterior motives. There's still more to this story and it's not going away, while I'm just curiously pondering out loud. 20/20 with Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir An ABC News exclusive interview by Barbara Walters with V. Stiviano. David: "Good evening, tonight we begin here with that ABC News exclusive, just a short time ago the woman at the center of a firestorm answering questions for the first time about the owner of the LA Clippers, Donald Sterling. Elizabeth: "She was the one who recorded him making racist comments. How she explains it in a moment but first who is she, that young mystery woman hiding behind the visor. The woman involved with a billionaire nearly 50 years her senior." Barely audible... A man walking with her and the news crew tells Ms. Stiviano... "Daily skate everyday just right there." To which she replies, "Just one block?" Elizabeth: "You have seen her all week; skating in front of her house with that odd visor covering her face." Stiviano: "You guys want some water?" Elizabeth: "Or exiting a restaurant espousing presidential aspirations." Stiviano: "One day I will become president of the United States of America." Elizabeth: "Who is she? She is 31 year old V. Stiviano, the woman often at Sterling's side at Clipper games, and nearly 50 years his junior. On Instagram she calls herself an artist, lover, and philanthropist. But it was that Instagram account that got her into hot water with Sterling when she posted that picture of herself with Magic Johnson. Sterling's anger at Stiviano part of that now famous recording." Sterling: "... and why are you taking pictures with minorities? Why?" Stiviano: "What's wrong with minorities?" Sterling: "It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people." Elizabeth: "Stiviano says she's half black, half Latina. Here name was Maria Vanessa Perez until 2010 when she legally changed it. Because she says she felt she hadn't "yet been fully accepted because of my race." "In the recording, despite Sterling's anger Stiviano tries to make peace." Stiviano: "Here you go honey, a little bit of juice, baby." Sterling: "Thank you honey." Stiviano: "Honey, if it makes you happy, I will remove all the black people from my Instagram." Elizabeth: "Donald Sterling has allegedly showered Ms. Stiviano with gifts, including a 1.8 million duplex, this Ferrari, two Bentleys, and he threw in an extra $240,000 to cover living expenses. But Sterling is still married to the same woman he married 57 years ago, seen here standing next to Stiviano the 80 year old Mrs. Sterling wants those gifts back. So, to get them back Shelley Sterling filed a lawsuit in March against the other woman who met her husband at a super bowl game in 2010. The lawsuit alleges Stiviano engages in conduct designed to target, seduce, cajole, and/or receive as gifts, transfers of wealth from wealthy older men. But Shelley Sterling still joined her husband for dinner earlier this week, defending him to the pappazzi." Paparazzi: "Are you a racist Mr. Sterling?" Shelley: "No, of course not." Paparazzi: "Are you a racist, the allegations, are they true?" Shelley: "Oh forget it, it's not true." Elizabeth: "Well, you've just heard the wife, now the other woman. Tonight V Stiviano is talking, why did she record Donald Sterling, is he a racist, and just what is their relationship?" David: "Barbara Walters asking those very questions tonight and she joins us now from Los Angeles, Barbara." Walters: "David and Elizabeth it has been such a roller coaster day. We met with Donald Sterling and V Stiviano, who describes herself as his personal assistant several times, both agreed to speak to me, and then it went back and forth and back and forth, finally Donald Sterling decided not to be interviewed. But his companion, the woman you have seen with a visor, huh, she did speak to me, so here is that interview with V Stiviano." Walters: "Ms. Stiviano you just left Donald Sterling, what is his state of mind right now?" Stiviano: "Confuse. I think he feels very alone, not truly supported by those around him, tormented, emotionally traumatized." Walters: "You are with him, so he's not alone." Stiviano: "I'm with him in a state where I want to help him. Urging him to come to his own rescue. But even so I think he feels that he’s alone." Walters: "You say that Donald Sterling is emotionally traumatized, from what?" Stiviano: "From everything, from everyone, from the media, from his peers, from his fellow employees, from his acquaintances. He's hurt. I think he's highly more traumatized and hurt by the things that he said himself. I think he can't even believe or understand sometimes the things he says, and I think he's hurt by it. He's hurting right now." Walters: "Do you think Donald Sterling should apologize?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "Did you discuss this with him?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Will he apologize?" Stiviano: "Only God knows." Walters: "Can you tell me what your relationship with Donald Sterling is?" Stiviano: "I'm Mr. Sterling's right hand arm, MAN. I'm Mr. Sterling everything, I'm his confidant, his best friend, his silly rabbit." Walters: "His what?" Stiviano: "His silly rabbit." Walters: "His silly rabbit?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Is that what he calls you?" Stiviano: "No. I call myself that." Walters: "I see, okay." Stiviano: "I joke around and I make him laugh. I do things that some people find very silly, or, I do things that sometimes people can't understand our relationship. I'm his everything. Our relationship started off, me working for Mr. Sterling in his non-profit organization the Donald T. Sterling Foundation. And it's evolved to so much more, on a level in which it's become a big scandal." Walters: "Scandalous?" Stiviano: "No, on a level which it became a big scandal." Walters: "It became a scandal?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Yeah, why?" Stiviano: "I think God has its purpose, and, I wish I could answer that question sometimes, and I keep asking myself how, when and why. But the truth is that how and why doesn't even matter anymore, its here. And some things needed to be brought to the light. And I think sometimes we're force into situations, into circumstances in which we have to choose to do good by. And everything and everyone is a test, and I think Mr. Sterling has, is being tested right now by a higher power or being, and I'm forced to come to his rescue, because he can't rescue himself." Walters: "Are you in love with Donald Sterling?" Stiviano: "I love him." Walters: "I'm not sure that's what I asked. Are you in love?" Stiviano: "No, I'm not in love." Walters: "You love him what, like a friend, you love him like a romance?" Stiviano: "I love him like a father figure." Walters: "Like a father?" Stiviano: "I love him like, just like a father figure." Walters: "Donald Sterling is in his 80's, you are in your 30's?" Stiviano: "Yes, I'm 31." Walters: "And you're a beautiful young woman, so I'm not sure I understand the relationship." Stiviano: "Well, I'm Mr. Sterling's personal assistant." Walters: "Uh huh." Stiviano: "Like I said I'm his right hand. I'm his wing man, what isn't there to understand?" Walters: "Well, let me ask this. Do you and Donald Sterling have a financial arrangement? You say you're his assistant, does he pay you?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "He pays you as an employee?" Stiviano: "He doesn't have me, he, at first started paying me as an employee, and then he started paying me, off the books." Walters: "Off the books?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "People have seen you walking with a visor, why the visor?" Stiviano: "I'm hurting, I'm in pain. It hurts to see someone that you care about hurting. It hurts to see people speculate; assume, say, throw darts at you when they don't know you. When they don't know your story, when they don't know the truth, all based on here say and assumptions, it hurts. It's easier to mask the pain." Walters: "And when you wear the visor you can hide your face and hide the pain?" Stiviano nods in agreement. Walters: "This is a question that I asked very often, but it seems to me so appropriate now. What's the biggest misconception about you?" Stiviano: "That I'm a mistress, or a whore, or a woman of the night. And all those misconception are just on my Instagram, I think, or it's speculations of not real journalists doing their job, asking the wrong people information about me that they don't know, or have real facts." Walters: "Is Donald Sterling a racist?" Stiviano: "NO, I don't believe it in my heart." Walters: "Had you heard him say derogatory things about minorities in general and blacks in particular?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "You've heard him say derogatory things?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Don't they sound racist to you?" Stiviano: "I think the things he says are not what he feels. I think he was brought up to believe those things." Walters: "What things?" Stiviano: "Segregation," Walters: "Uh huh.' Stiviano: "whites and blacks, minorities, from black Jews to light Jews to dark Jews." Walters: "Black Jews?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "So it's not just blacks, it's anti-Semitism he expresses, but he's Jewish." Stiviano: "But through his actions he's shown that he's not a racist. Through his actions he's shown to be a very generous and kind man. If he was a real racist then why would he help the world the way that he has? I think he was overwhelmed by the situation, he was overwhelmed by the phone calls." Walters: "The situation in which you said derogatory things about blacks?" Stiviano: "No." Walters: "Oh." Stiviano: "I think he was overwhelmed by the phone calls of many negative people calling him. All these nay sayers." Walters: "About you?" Stiviano: "About me." Walters: "I see, okay. In other words, friends of his were saying bad things about you?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "Why is he with you?" Stiviano: "They couldn't understand, now here's a very powerful man, part of the 1% in which most people read about." Walters: "He's very rich?" Stiviano: "Yes." (she says greedily) "And no one understands why Mr. Sterling has this young girl around him." Walters: "Well, there is 50 years difference in your age." Stiviano: "No one understood why I wouldn't allow Mr. Sterling to speak with certain people, or have meetings with certain people, or, no one understood that. And all of the people that were involved with him in real estate or business or board meetings, there are certain things that I wouldn't allow Mr. Sterling to say that can hurt him. And I became part of Mr. Sterling's team. I became someone who protected him, someone who took care of him, someone who watched everything he said and did. And people did not like that. People were used to Mr. Sterling being Mr. Sterling and here comes V and everything change." Walters: "So you helped him become a better person?" Stiviano: "In every way." Walters: "Uh huh." Stiviano: "In every way." Walters: "I want to go through some of things that he has said, and get your comment on them. He said to you, about black people, you can sleep with them, you can bring them in you can do whatever you want, I just ask you not to promote it, not to bring them to my games. Why not?" Stiviano: "There is a point in time that I have the leniency and the liberty to bring whomever I want." Walters: "Uh huh." Stiviano: "As his right hand. I get the perks of doing whatever I want, for the most part, when it comes to the NBA team. And a lot of people were jealous of that. A lot of executive and board of directors for the Clippers organization did not like that. So, having that freedom, Mr. Sterling allowed me to bring whomever I wanted. And on occasion when Mr. Sterling wasn't there and I was attending the games, people would call him and tell him that I brought a certain amount of people and that they looked like a certain way." Walters: "Black people?" Stiviano: "Well not just black people." Walters: "Well, he said you can sleep with them, you can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. He was not just talking about black people? He was talking about anybody you brought?" Stiviano: "I think he was generalizing. I think the focus of the subject at that time was just black people. But I think he referred to everyone not just black people, when he made that statement." Walters: "Well it's a little..." Stiviano: "Confusing?" Walters: "Yes. Because he says the little I ask you is to not promote it, not to bring THEM to my games, THEM talking about..." Stiviano: "Them, talking about those people that didn't give me a good look. People that were perceived based on the calls and the assumptions these other individuals were making to Mr. Sterling, they would say negative things like, V brought gangsters, or, or V was hanging out with thugs, or V was hanging around with bad women, or with fat women. Just, it wasn't only men, it was also women. Part of the audio in which the world heard was only 15 minutes, there's a number of other hours that the world doesn't know." Walters: "In one of your recorded conversations with Sterling you said, I wish I could change the color of my skin." Stiviano: "I was being cynical and sarcastic." Walters: "I see." Stiviano: "I wanted too get him to see what he was doing to me, what he was doing to himself. A lot of the times I would over emphasize and be cynical, because he just couldn't get it. He couldn't understand my views, or the views of those around us. And I would have to paint that picture to him in color with words." Walters: "So you are, as I've said, you are half black and half Mexican, and you were very close to Donald Sterling?" Stiviano: "Yes." Walters: "You do not consider him a racist?" Stiviano: "No." Walters: "No." Walters: "Do you think he should apologize?" Stiviano: "Absolutely." Walters: "Do you think he will apologize?" Stiviano: "Only God knows." Walters: "There are so many facets to this fascinating story, race, power, and wealth. The least of which is the nature of the relationship between this beautiful woman and the billionaire, Donald Sterling." Am I the only one that sees the slam dunk here? Didn't Mr. S or his staff do a background check on this piece of work? The only thing Mr. S is guilty of is being an old curmudgeon that's set in his ways. And he was giving this young woman who refers to herself as a girl a chance at a better life. Instead of appreciating the higher standard of living along with all the perks she got the big head and thought she could bring him to his knees. Failing to do that privately, she and her cohorts decided to make a public spectacle of an ailing old man that came to depend of her for everything. Her audacity to now try to come across as a misunderstood victim of society is appalling, even sickening. She definitely needs to learn that there are consequences when you take advantage of senior citizens no less, by having everything stripped away and returned to his wife who never disrespected her man in the public eye after nearly 60 years together. Especially when V was controlling his life and his decisions, according to her own public statements and testimony. Slam dunk! The only thing Mr. Sterling needs to apologize for is getting involved with Ms. Perez-Stiviano and trusting her to keep his confidences. For betraying her best friend and her father figure, she deserves a public spanking her self. She lauds herself as his savior, but in reality she's the devil in disguise. The evil woman that Mrs. S reports her to be. This testimony is solid proof of V's coercive influence over Mr. S. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall before this interview was to begin when V decided she wanted to take the limelight for herself. I can definitely agree that Mr. S made the right decision by sitting this one out and letting his right hand MAN lay her cards on the table so the entire world can read them and see what kind of a player this beautiful young woman really is. With backstabbers like this on his payroll Mr. S can do with some new staff. BTW, anybody else notice that V doesn't respect anybody? As she rushes head long into who knows where to reveal all she knows about her time in the NBA? Executives, board of directors? I wonder who's secrets she's going to start sharing next? Or what kind of gossip she's going to stir up until her 15 minutes are finally up? Seems to me that she should have kept her lips sealed unless she'd been personally damaged in some way and needed to air her grievances in court. Just saying... |

he has no employers, per se,,,,,, but he has a CONTRACT that he agreed to with the NBA and upon breech of that contract, it states that commissioner has discretion to decide upon certain actions,,, Then, what was all the his employer BS? Just because a group suggests he do something, doesn't mean he has to oblige them. That's for attorneys judges to work out. Which do you qualify for? Me. I am only qualified to offer my opinion.My/our opinions and a buck-fity might get us a cup of coffee. Yes, he has no employers, he has no employers today. Sung to the tune of Yes, we have no bananas. |

Can't help but wonder now if NBA Commissioner Adam Silver had the privilege of listening to all the hours of taping that V did, and based his severe action on his personal knowledge rather than the limited conversations the public has heard so far. And when the rest are going to be released so the media and NBA can fan the flames of racism even hotter in their attempt to make Mr. S sell his team. Ultimately it looks like a major sports organization are themselves resorting to underhanded tactics to oust Mr. S for payback on letting V into their company, giving her undeserved and unlimited power and access when it's obvious to the rest of us now why Mr. S's friends were calling him to warn him about her personal conduct as his right hand MAN. V was intentionally flaunting her mixed race and cultural lifestyle in his face according to her she was trying to convert him to her and her friends way of thinking. She also involved the team and now the worldwide public in her schooling of an old Jew. Seems there's no length too extreme for this right hand arm MAN to teach his/her partner a lesson, is there? Instead of honoring her employer's requests that she conduct herself like a lady of his caliber she told him to go f**k himself with her actions so she could make a public spectacle of herself. Obviously she thought she had Mr. S wrapped around her finger, but if there was no personal connection between the two of them why do they refer to each other in endearing terms, like honey and baby? V betrayed Mr. S on so many different levels. And why the hell is V's lawyer letting her hang herself in public with her own testimony now? Although I'm glad he let her cut her own throat, it's not the best advice I would have given her. To go on air and take full responsibility for how a rich elderly man is acting badly wasn't the best move in my book. Now his mental state can be called into question for letting a 31 year old woman with an inferiority complex that thinks she looks like a rabbit (although I agree with her on this one those teeth do suggest something peculiar about her) direct his words and actions. V is obviously a racist against wealth and class decorum and wants to take everybody down that she feels is superior to her. Can't wait to see how the NBA handles this one or they won't look very good either if they stand behind this vicious woman's attack on her employer when he didn't give her her way. The fruit on the vine is ripening... |

NBA Legend Not Surprised by Sterling www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG1ga030PlU Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Comments on Donald Sterling www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/abdul-jabbar-taped-sterling-prison-article-1.1775937 Obviously Mr. S has been no shrinking violet when it pertains to his cultural outlook. After all he is from another generation in which the views he currently espouses were completely acceptable and the norm. From what I gather so far Mr. S has been particular about the class of individuals he prefers to rent too for business purposes, but does not discriminate against race when it pertains to playing on his team. Kareem says that he doesn't have a problem with anyone buying Mr. S's Clippers so long as they "fit the profile" of what the NBA is all about, inclusion. Isn't this politically correct profiling tactic a form of discrimination too? It's okay if you play in my sandbox so long as you think, speak, and act the way I want you too, if not, you're outta here! Which is the same type of ideology Mr/Mrs. S wanted to oblige in their choice of renters. So it's not really about inclusion, it's about subtle selective bigotry. Excluding people because we don't like how they are isn't a show of tolerance and equal acceptance, it's prejudice, plain and simple. And it doesn't matter if we color it over with a righteous, holier than thou stance or attitude, it's still a form of bigotry. Slippery slopes... |

I can't help myself, my dander is getting ruffled the more I hear people say that Mr. Sterling doesn't belong in the NBA because of his personal politics across racial lines. His peers, associates, players, the local community has known what he's been about for decades and they've battled the issues out between them before. It also appears that in his alpha male, dog eat dog world, Mr. S always acquiesces and pays off whoever barks the loudest. So what's so different this time? All the naysayers inspire me to keep digging until I find the real reason why this whole scenario is in the public eye. And who is ultimately responsible for wanting the race card in sports to be played on center stage at this particular time. Could Oprah Be the Clippers' New Owner? www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oY2vf8bBUg With Oprah Winfrey, a wealthy black woman thinking about buying the Clippers so long as she has two wealthy white men, David Geffen and Larry Ellison, backing her. This way the racial divide between blacks and whites in LA will still be appeased by this inverted Oreo cookie appearance that will suit everyone's taste. This still looks like subtle race and gender control to me. Come on guys... this slight of hand isn't fooling anybody. But seriously folks... where were we... oh yeah... we're supposed to be focusing on Mr. S's silly rabbit... ... and just what is he going to pull out of his hat next... |

This should be interesting.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti addresses Donald Sterling Controversy
www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_p0snqjT1k Mr. Donald Sterling is not Adolf Hitler. He is not some scourge that the City of Los Angeles needs to purge themselves of. He's a human being steeped in his own cultural beliefs and views and sometimes doesn't exercise personal judgment wisely. It appears that over the course of his life he has done far more to improve the lives of those around him then he has hurt their feelings. The way that everybody has turned their backs on him for having his underbelly exposed shows me that maybe he is right in his desire not to want to associate with people that despise him so much. It really looks like Mr. S is only appreciated when he's giving, and not being accepted for who he really is. While those who are intolerant of his presence also lack the same empathy they accuse him of. I don't know the man, but I know plenty of older people here in the south that still have the same views. And there's no way they will ever change them because of their personal life experiences that made them believe this way. Of course as the decades have gone by they've had to learn how to adjust and behave politically correct in public. But in the privacy of their own homes they are free to believe and speak freely without fear of being alienated by their communities. Mr. S wasn't in public deliberately targeting people to hurt them. His right to privacy was violated so that he could be held up to ridicule. And the City of Los Angeles can't find it in their hearts to understand this and forgive a cantankerous old man who's just exercising his inalienable right to be himself. Just my thoughts for an underdog... |

Just my thoughts for an underdog... Hippocrates have shown their willingness to take from this man even though they have known for decades his attitude. NAACP needs to give back all the funds he has donated over the last 20 years. Then, they need to go hang themselves for being guilty of premeditated acceptance of funds from a bigot. Sounds fair to me. Again. I wanna know where this, His bosses needs to get rid of him thing came from? That position was hilarious. |

So now the mystery is clearing. Everyone in LA knows about Mr. S's proclivities and history. V knew what she was facing so she gathered leverage in secret to be able to hold onto her property. Instead of going to court V decided to expose Mr. S to the public as a way to shame him into submission. Ultimately, if V's lawyer thinks he's going to lose his cut of her claims he'll expose everything anyway, or threaten too, to get their way. If Mr. S makes the right move he can cut them off at the pass, and take the steam out of their "sales". Hang tough Mr. S... What makes this case so sad is that it did appear in the tapes that Mr. S did care for V in some aspect, and she gutted him like a fish just for material gain. Many would think, believe, and come to expect... |
