Okay, okay... even in their own defense it's unseemly for a man to kiss and tell publicly. IMO.

My take on this though is...

Everyone knew then, and knows now what they're getting into. And they make choices that have consequences. Some good, some bad.

But hood-like combat isn't well received in conservative circles.

So after this story has finally fizzled and died, in the future more PC avenues will have to be implemented for a clean sweep.
