You were either asleep during history class, or just skipped school altogether. The "Compromise of 1877" is common knowledge among historians. However my knowledge of the subject comes directly from ancesters and confirmed by scholors. Most Americans are totally obliviouse towards history. We here in America are the most misseducated people in the world. Which would explain your position. Most people will respond in the way you did when they dont know, were not aware, or just had very little to say. Many American are so misseducated that many still to this day,really think Manhattan was sold for $24 dollars in trinkets.

Wrong, the most devevastating single event in our history in regards to Black people was not as you put it listening to hate. You nor anyone else are in no position to define, decide nor influence who Black people should or should not listen to. Who should they listen to you? As for complacency, what legal proof is neede. Coupled with the corrupt and racist judicial system, prison are filled beyond capacity and feed most of rural America. The "selection" not "elected" Black President does little to deminish the fact that your so called progress is nothing more then wishfull thinking. Im curious whether you are/were ever an instructor? I am not of the belief in a 'black/white' code of responsibility for americas less than compltely upright history , because I know there were many of all shades who fought to end it but I do believe there is a direct correlation between race and wealth/class in america that was created by and founded in the several hundred years of racial segregation and discrimination in America, which in a time where money rules everything, is a very significant discussion to have and issue to address yet its hard, as a minority, to address it with non minorities at times without it becoming the same old discussion of what 'others' have endured or how its not anyones fault personally because they werent alive or whatever at that time |

I am not of the belief anyone can or will try to 'ban' guns, but that is a far stretch from at least regulating them,,,there is just no LOGICAL LEGAL purpose for any weapon that can do that type of mass damage in a matter of seconds,,,,, The reason is the OP of this post! And yes there are those who wish an all out ban. So you are wrong and wrong again. If anyone at that temple had an AK-47 sitting in a closet ready to rock and could have brought it to bear against this creep he would have been prevented from doing so much damage and it would have been a lesson to other such creeps, but because he found nothing but sheep he and every other creep is encouraged to continue these kinds of stunts. When someone says there is no legal purpose for such a rifle they clearly have no clue what tactical advantage means, and how a criminal bringing to bear a tactical advantage is not a good thing, and how having such a weapon evens the playing field. I am not following how having a gun that does MASS damage would have helped in this situation, where only ONE Person needed to be stopped,, I also dont understand what I Was 'wrong' about as I already conceded that SOME people will want an all out ban (there are extremists in every argument) my point was there is a MIDDLE ground, ,,,between an all out ban and allowing citizens access to guns with potential to kill dozens of people within a few seconds without ever reloading,,, it takes one bullet to kill an asailant, not fifty,,,, it takes one bullet to kill an asailant, not fifty,,,, Clearly you have no clue what it would take in any real world situation. To fully understand the American psyche in regards to race and its dynamic requires a close examination of our history from a research of the often misseducational system. This movie depicted Blacks as savages unable to take care of themselves nor keep their hands off white womanhood. The movie was so popular that it was shown in the green room of the White House where the President of the U.S called it a "great cinematic production". Not surprising considering that this president (Woodrow Wilson) along with Calvin Cooledge, and President Harding were long established Klan members and sympathizers. This movie was released nationally as well as internationaly to justify the "ethnic cleansing" of thousands of Black people attempting to refurbish an earlier attempt at self sufficiency. I believe it 'erupted' when one islamic woman addressed the passage of the op stating crimes had risen due to people confusing muslims with those of other religions and her post stating that her religion is peaceful then was met with numerous posts from non muslims about how awful and murderous it actually is,,,
