Yet when you compare you will find that word grouping is consistantly diferent depending upon the 'ritual' understanding of the translators for each version you compare. the changing of a single small 'jot' effects the entire book. Mayest not means you may not do this. And isn't the only wrong that is forgivable. Any and all sins are forgivable except denying the Lord thy God. All other sins are forgivable and equal, if you offend in one, you offend in all. Doesn't matter if it says mayest not or thou shall not, is the same difference. Kill, Murder. People do not wish to look at it as "murdering" a deer when they go hunting to "kill" a deer. Killing in self defense is murder. Taking someone's life is murder. There is no justification for it, weather it be for self defense or any other reason. Self Defense is NOT murder. Not every case of "taking someone's life" is murder either. "No justification" for it. That is an opinion. It is not fact. It is a biased opinion based on self-morals. "Accidentally" killing someone is not "murder". "Murder" itself is a premeditated act to kill. You can't plan a "self-defense" situation. |

No, a judgement is not murder. If a judgement was murder, there would be no such thing as the death penalty. For if a judge sentenced someone to death, the judge and the executioner(s) would then also have to be sentenced with murder. That is why we are not to murder, for Jesus is the judge, not us. Cowboy...if Jesus is the only Judge, therefore anyone that follow Jesus and hand down a judgement of Death is actually sinning all Christian Judges and prosecutors, police etc. that seeked the death pentaly or handed down a judgement of death or killed someone would be doing the work of Satan this is why the commandments state "Thou shalt not kill" and not thou shalt not murder ...because you are not supposed to engage in any killings...intentionally or unintentionally |
