Topic: I just HAVE to do it....

I know many arent from the same culture but its known as a 'spanking' nothing to be executed over,,,, 20 whacks is about right for breaking the law when your dad is a judge,,,,but all the pausing made it worse that is not spanking, he did not use his hand once. A spanking is giving you're kid a swat on the *** to get them moving. not a beating with weapons. Don't get her started..... I am enjoying my debate with her. I hear ya. Go for it. msharmony and i have debated this topic before.. we've been down this road. That happens after a few years here... one day I may enter the religion and politics sections, but for now debates of this nature are less stressful but normally I would love nothing more then to go there and stat my opinions on a few topics.

Yep she believes in hitting little kids. I don't. These days, just take away their computers, or their texting privileges, that is torture enough for them. I believe in 'hitting' them on their well padded behinds with a hand or belt,, sure do not to be confused with ANY OTHER kind of hitting, like punching or slapping or kicking,,,etc,,,,, slapping is kinda what you do when you spank..just saying than I support slapping that butt,,,

Older kids don't have well padded behinds, so are you saying that you only believe in hitting tiny kids with diapers? ...on their well padded behinds? the gluteus maximus is a well padded muscle, regardless of age,,,but body mass would be a factor,, this child was well padded,,,

This is all over the place. Big discussions on it on facebook. Most think he deserves an award..very few think he's a douche. Is this good parenting or not? I've seen this posted by several friends on FB. It's just heartbreaking to to see that poor innocent laptop get shot in cold blood. The daughter deserves to pay for such a tragic crime. I say make her live Amish.

I think what he did was very admirable. "Parents" today IMO are pretty worthless when it comes to discipline. You are the parent, not a friend. You are the boss until they are 18 and or move out! This 15 yo brat obviously has no respect for her parents and this man put her in her place. I say BRAVO
