I'm still waiting for any response my post of the official report on why the towers fell. If it is not the official report printed in the Journal of Engineering Mechanics ASCE, in press 9/13/01, then I am still waiting for someone to post a link to the official report. Metalwing's own peer review was critical of the original report and he seemed to agree (with me) that it was flawed. But now all I get is silence. From everyone who thinks the debunker show, which is the topic of this thread, was actually successful at debunking anything, good luck next time. Steel will lose about half its strength at 1,200 degrees F. The steel will also become distorted when heat is not a uniform temperature. 3. Collapsing Floors Most fires start in one area and then spread. The fire from the terrorist planes covered the area of an entire floor almost instantly. As the weakened floors began to collapse, they pancaked. This means that floors crashed down on floors with increasing weight and momentum, crushing each successive floor below. With the weight of the plunging floors building force, the exterior walls buckled. Seriously? About.com? That is not an official report or even close to a government website.

Yeah right. ALL the reputable scientific community articles are lies even though they carefully document all their evidence and support all their statements and conclusions with facts. While on the other hand the conspiracy theorists and truthers who have no evidence and only wild speculations and whose arguments are easily shot down are considered more valid.

To add to that, wasn't at least one politician warned NOT to fly on 9-11? I seem to recall that. You seem to recally wrong. Oh really? His wife was on the flight that crashed into the Pentagon! If President Bush was really behind it like you said he would protect his "Close" friends. Unless a person knows what the dynamics of people's relationships with each other are, no one can answer a question like that. Maybe she was on that plane, maybe she wasn't. Maybe she died, maybe she didn't. Questions like that are not the ones you need to be asking. There are more important questions that have not been answered. Wow, they have proof of her two calls to her husband after the hijacking started. That's another topic, back at the time of 9-11, there was no way anyone could communicate back to someone on the ground by phone. So explain to me just how she could have called her husband given that? She couldn't have, which would mean someone isn't telling the truth. ??? are you high? lol, they have about 15 phone calls from the flight that crashed into the field... check youtube, they are everywhere... |

For 1 they tested the phone tech from then and it had a long enough range (again as stated in the video this thread is about if anyone would actually watch it) Secondly have you ever rode on a plane before? They have phones built into the plan that you can use a credit card to call people and use in the air. i agree, but people have good reasons not to trust the government. they refuse to be open and honest, and then tell more lies to cover up the opening lies. people that just go with the flow, and never question anything are being dumb too. i think there is a balance in there somewhere. but most of these people that believe this 9-11 conspiracy stuff just want to believe it, there is just to much evidence showing it wasn't to much more than what we have been told. but the way the government handled it was less than professional, and that in it self fueled most of these theories.

I am reading the stuff on that Popular Mechanics site when I can find it in the maize of advertisements. I also ordered the 9-11 debunking book by Popular Mechanics and a two other books: "The Mysterious Collapse of World Trade Center 7: Why the Final Official Report About 9/11 Is Unscientific and False." and: "Debunking 9/11 Debunking: An Answer to Popular Mechanics and Other Defenders of the Official Conspiracy Theory." I will spend some serious time on this information before I proceed with any further discussions on this subject. I also downloaded the entire 565 page official 9-11 report. That's going to be hard to read. Have you read all of that stuff yourself? Has anyone in this thread even read the official 565 page report? I doubt it. I haven't. |

With Cellphones, how SEVERAL passengers contacted loved ones after the hijackings. That's just it, they COULDN'T have been able to get service to the ground with them then! So the whole story falls apart right there! If they can't get service to the ground from that high in the air, how are they gonna contact anyone?? I've gotten service in flight before, so I have no clue what you guys are talking about. |

Music is a great tool to manipulate people's emotions. "Have you forgotten 9-11?" Nope we haven't, that's why we are still talking about it. That first song said we need to find out who is behind Bin Laden. That is what we hope we do. It might not be who you think it is. The second song is great to sing to the troops so they can feel good about what they are doing. Not very many people really understand the reason for wars, but if they can feel good about them, it makes them feel better. |

i agree, but people have good reasons not to trust the government. they refuse to be open and honest, and then tell more lies to cover up the opening lies. people that just go with the flow, and never question anything are being dumb too. i think there is a balance in there somewhere. but most of these people that believe this 9-11 conspiracy stuff just want to believe it, there is just to much evidence showing it wasn't to much more than what we have been told. but the way the government handled it was less than professional, and that in it self fueled most of these theories. If they are gonna refuse to be open about things Moe, how the hell do you know they're gonna tell you the truth about this?? Does a leopard really ever change its' spots? |

I don't think there's much wrong with Jesse, though I sort of question a little who he works for to some extent. But at least he speaks out a lot more than most. |
