God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Just this part of the verse is an instruction of what we are to do.

It says specifically God blessed them AND God SAID "be fruitful". God told them/us to be fruitful.

What are you talking about? Keep things in context?

I am trying to help you understand something. When God speaks things happen. Be fruitful, means, according to the dictionary, to be FERTILE. Fruitful means fertile.

When God said "LET THERE BE LIGHT!" He was creating.
When he said "Be fruitful and multiply" he was creating and giving humans the gift of fertility.

Therefore all that goes along with fertility, including the sexual desire that goes with it was a gift and a blessing from God.

And YOU are attempting to make it dirty and make it a sin to feel desire or lust, or have sex. Sex is a gift from God. You just want to make it into a sin.

That is twisted thinking in my opinion.

So if you wish to live in guilt and shame for your sexuality, that is your bad choice. But don't try to lay that guilt trip on others.

Yes keep things in context of how they are written. God blessed them. THEN God said unto them, be fruitful and multiply. Sex had nothing to do with the blessing. The being fruitful and to multiply were instructions, they weren't something God did himself. God blessing them is the only action God did in that verse. The rest were instructions. It doesn't say God blessed them to be fruitful... ect ect. No, said God blessed them *end of statemet* then God told them to be fruitful and multiply.

Telll me...how can one multiply by just doing good?

Multiply means INCREASE...

To be able to increase , one must be able to PRODUCE.

NOT just do good.

So, to "be fruitful and multiply" , would have to mean more,

than to

do good and multiply....in order to have increase.

See now?

(NOW, in the NEW testament, "be fruitful" was referring to bearing

or PRODUCING SPIRITUAL

FRUIT...but..we are NOT talking about the new testament...we

are talking about the meaning of "be fruitful and multiply" in the OLD

testament.

(please see genesis 30:2 for another example ...where it

mentions the fruit of the womb).

This is why God sent us believers the Holy Spirit to teach us...to

lead and quide us into all Truth...cause God knew

we could not teach ourselves , or understand His Word, with out

the Holy Spirit Indwelling us.


This is why it is important to beleive in the DEITY of Jesus

When One REALLY BELIEVES, GOD KNOWS.....and will therefore

allow the Holy Spirit to

Come In, and INDWELL that person...otherwise ,the Holy Spirit

a little l and a little s.....but not REALLY beleive that Jesus is

EQUALLY GOD,

See....the REAL Jesus will not come in where He is not invited.

Jesus knows you did not invite the REAL Jesus in, but just

Cowboy...a seed can not become a Tree or bear fruit until or unless it is first pollinated ...pollination is a method of Sex ...unless of course you believe that little angels grow the fruit in Heaven float down and then stick the fruit on the tree branches

when God or Jesus refer to fruit...it only shows that they have sex on their mind ...

also you still have not answered the eternal question ...if fruitful does not mean "inherent lust" then how would animals know how to carry out God's command and "multiply"

Animals have instincts naturally to reproduce.



No that just shows where your mind goes with "fruitful". Fruitful means productive, means getting things one needs to do done. Means not being lazy. Again, being fruitful in the sense you're using it, being fertile, that is not a choice. Each person does not choose to be fertile or not.

Judge not less ye be judged. Cause you know absolutely nothing obviously. I'm not trying to earn heaven in any way, I leave that all in the hands of Jesus. Jesus is my life thank you very much, he is everything and anything that is any bit important to me in my life. I already know works alone can not save a person. Jesus is our God.

However that portion of 'fruitfull' is but a fleeting thing... If it produces a human child then many other types of 'fruitfull' must be applied by the parents to RAISE that child into an adult human...

as it takes a community to raise our children.

Fruitfull becomes not that of an individual but that of the community...

and civilization itself becomes 'fruitfull'...

Sex is but a very small part of that 'fruitfull' as it is used in Genesis...

For a community to thrive, they need to reproduce, but not only that. They need to thrive, which means they need to continue to live, be healthy and reproduce.

You can do a lot of good, and produce a lot of crops, build a lot of communities and buildings... and live like kings ... but if you don't have any children your community will all die in one generation.

Yes I already understood the command "fruitful" I'm very fruitful through my days, I don't waste my life. I learned not to, almost lost it in a car wrech and have dedicated my life to spreading the word of God to the world. I don't waste any time of my life, you don't know how much you truly have.

Cowboy do you really believe you are "spreading the word of God?" It sounds more like you are spreading your own word. These are your own ideas. Are you trying to be the Pope? Not a pope, I'm nothing special. And no I'm not spreading my own person interpretation, I have many of times even asked people to discuss if they interpret verses differently. They tend not to when I include the surrounding verses to put it into context. They just leave it at that. If they truly thought I misinterpreted it they should have continued to discuss, cause I may very well have.

Whoring around doesn't have anything to do with money. A whore is someone whom has sex with multiple people. And by your interpretation of being "fruitful" it would be the same as whoring around and or in simpler terms, sleeping with many people. Sex is purely for marriage.
