Actually, no, he was not disrespecting His Father's house by casting them out. He was honoring it. "mylifetoday" ....when the bible say honor thy Father and mother...they perhaps were not referring to having a conniption fit and doing damages to their home in the name of Jesus Answer my question first, then I will answer yours. Would your son be honoring your house or disrespecting it? And note I pointed out your son was damaging THEIR property, not yours. ok ..no problem....I will teach my child to honor me by using their common sense and call "911" instead of confronting people that have broken into the house

Those tables and money changers should not have been in the church. They were trespassing. So you're gonna tell me that if someone trespasses into your house, you're just going to politely ask them to leave? You're gonna politely direct them to the door? Even if they refuse to leave, you're gonna plead with them in a gentle way? Or are you gonna forcefully make them leave? Are you gonna throw a conniption fit of these people in your house? Cowboy...don't Christians ever call the police...you guys seem to be looking for a fight No it's the non-Christians that seem to be looking for a fight. Christians tell what they feel is the truth, other beliefs tell as what they believe. Christians go on their merry little way after the discussion. It is the people of other beliefs that get all offensive and defensive like the two were/are about to fight.

If someone comes into your home and starts to set up business within your home without asking you and your son gets upset and destroys THEIR set up and throws them out, is your son disrespecting your house or honoring it? "mylifetoday"....I supposed your community do not have any police or cellphones to call "911" .....is taking the law in your own hands by resorting to violence the moral you took from the story of Jesus and the money changers Well for one it wasn't "illegal" for what those money changers were doing. Wasn't against man's law. So the legal force would have no grounds to do anything, so your statement is mute. Cowboy...couldn't Jesus just walked into the place and first ask them to leave before resorting to violence ...isn't Jesus supposed to be Love or something .... So again, when and if someone breaks into your home. Are you gonna just ask them to leave? Are you gonna just show them the door and politely plead for them to leave? No in this instance you'll either take matters into your own hands or call the police. Well Jesus is the police my friend. He is the judge that will judge us.

If someone you don't know comes to your home and sets up shop without your consent or that of your son's would you expect your son to sit idly by waiting for the police to show up or toss this complete stranger out on his ear for daring to violate your sanctuary? Call the police after you evict them. They already are in the wrong. In some states it would be legal to shoot them. Are you trying to say no one has the right to protect their own property? I would expect my son to defend his home from all who would dare to violate it. Call the police after he secures it (assuming he can). Jesus was not having a conniption. A conniption is when you fly off the handle because you aren't getting what you want. That was not the case here. I said this a few times now in my question to you. Jesus damaged the money changers property, not His Father's. He was honoring His Father by kicking out trespassers on His Father's property.

No it wouldn't, just said that to explain it. Jesus IS the judge. Not because he necessarily "chose" to be. He didn't just think to himself one day, I'm gonna be the judge of the world. No, he was created to be the judge of us all.

what if a child came in and disposed of their parents drugs? MsHarmony...you didn't specify if the drugs were prescription drugs or whatever.....generally when a child dispose of their parents drugs they do it internally not sure what the heck that has to do with Jesus and the money changers....did God have some drugs in the temple that Jesus took.... that would explain his conniption fit and pew turning
