Cowboy...aren't Christians supposedly filled with the holy spirit through faith ....which means if you wish to deny or claim that you never told me you were posessed by the holy spirit that would indicate that you never told me that you were a Christian.....

I don't know cause I read it in a book. I know it cause I can feel the presence of the lord, I know it cause I can feel the love God holds for me. I know it cause I can feel the love God holds for you. I know it cause I can feel the love God holds for every thing that walks, has walked, or will walk this earth. I know it cause God loves every being that has ever existed or ever will.

Yes, once one turns their life over to God, they are filled with the holy spirit. But that's not a possession. Again, a possession is where someone is taken over by a demon. They loose total control of their body. When someone is filled with the holy spirit, they do not loose control of their body. The holy spirit only effects their actions/decisions as much as they will allow it to happen for the holy spirit deals with your conscience. It doesn't literally force you to do or not to do anything. So no, not being deceptive.

It is totally stupid to fall in love with someone in a book.And if anyone basis their love on God on what is in a book, then they are a little sily. If you have read th Bible and feel nothing, then what you are saying is completely true.

But Cowboy is right as well God is more than a book, God does place his love inside you, Yep you can tell me I am delusional and I probably am, but Gods peace and joy, keep me constantly happy, I have a life that is rarely affected by anything around me.. Not because I dont have bad things happen to me, but because I always have the reasurance that God wont give me more than I can handle and he doesnt..
Yep now this could just be a fairytale I have concocted in my mind.

there is undisputable evidence that God exist as a character in a book but there is no evidence that God exist beyond a book ...that's why people have faith...to delude themselves that there is evidence

Is it any worse then putting your faith in Money and then losing your job and the money disapearing.. Nope, people always put their faith in something, it may be a person, or themselves, it could be there ability to rationalise things.

But you see the thing for me is nothing will shake my faith, I have had years of hell and it never left me, nor did my happiness and joy.

So in reality although it is delusional it works. And yep I have had things happen that can be put down to miracles and they can be rationalised, but to me they will still be a miracle..

Oh and I love Jacob in Twilight he is the ideal hero...Hmmm so do my two daughters..

Oh and I did marry someone who could have very easily have murdered me, but he didnt so it worked out. And he still believes he loves me.

And I do fall in love with every hero in every book I read.



Now as for my children, they where brought up knowing about God, they where taught the bible.
I homeschooled them and they where taught responsibility, honour, and to enjoy life..

However, even though they all know the Bible better then most adults, they do not all Love God.

After I left my husband, he took my children and the church helped him keep them, they told my children that they had had visions of me coming back to him, if they stayed.
The children where told that I was going against God because i wouldnt go back and that their Dad had changed, they went to court with him and testified that they would hep him with the children and that they where safe and he was recieving counciling.
So the kiddies stayed, until their faith was destroyed and they didnt believe in God nor trust the churh. Thewy where left alone, bashed and suffered many things that should never have happened.

Ok so this is all off topic, but to me religion is very very wrong.

I do have a strong faith, but I have watched hypocrits (yes I cant spell that word and Im not looking it up) anyway I watched them destroy childrens faith by pushing their beliefs down the kids throats, and not really caring about the children and their welfare.

I do not care what anyone believes as it is your right to believe what you do.

However I do think that if a person makes the effort to go to church then they should live the life an not just talk the talk, because talk is cheap.

Well now my eldest daughter 21 believes in God but does not follow his teachings and will not ever join a church.

My eldest son,19 Loves God and basis his life around that. He is a youth leader and drummer in his churches band..

My next son 16 will not have anything to do with churches as he says they are all hypocrits and he only wants truth in his life. He will not even listen to Christian music. Yet he is still a reespectful young man, who goes to a Christian school, At school he tells his teachers exactly how he feels and will not have anything to do with praying or other christina things at the school, although he respects their rights to.

My younger 15, and 11 boys wont attend church at all, as they wont get mixed up with it again.
and my youngest daughter 13 still believes in God and attends a youth group.

So I guess the saddest thing for me is that normally The churches seem to do more damage then help..

I myself would not ever want to attend one again, I love God but hate religion and will not mix with people who believe they have all the answers and are right...I would much prefer someone who is real, faults and all, thats what makes them human..

No, not a demon possession, not even a possession to start with. Again, the Holy Spirit will not join with you less you invite the Holy Spirit in. And speaking in tongue isn't someone/something controlling you. It is the spirit itself speaking through you. Those words coming out, are the words of the Holy spirit. Not coming from particularly you, so the spirit isn't making YOU do something. That is why when one speaks in tongue it speaks a language no one knows but one or possibly more people know. Usually only one person will know what the person is speaking. This is cause when someone speaks in tongue they have a specific message for a specific person. So that specific person is given the ability to know what the person is saying when speaking in tongue.
