It is a lie, for he said he WILL. But he never did nor will he ever, so therefore a lie. Cowboy...saying that he will or will acheive was his goal ....if one does not reach their goal..it's not a lie it's failure It is a failure yes and it is a lie. If you say you will do something but don't, you lied. Excuses are irrelevant on why you lied eg., failure. so wouldn't you agree that every time a Christian that has a goal to not sin but does...did not fail.... but is a liar? He is a liar and a failure. He lied saying he won't sin, this is automatically done when one accepts Jesus as lord and savior. As lord Jesus has instructed us not to sin, so with accepting Jesus as lord we accept his command not to sin. That is why Jesus offers forgiveness through his blood. For we are weak and disobey God. That is why life is a growing process. With asking for forgiveness one must repent from that which he/she asked for forgiveness of to receive forgiveness. If not, then the asking is in vein. cool...so since you have admitted in this forum that you sometimes sin... would this indicate that you fell short of this goal or that you a liar?... is one of your goals to tell the truth when you preach the bible or to lie about what's in the bible ... FOR EXAMPLE: you once said that no babies drown in The Great Flood because God placed them all on Noah's Ark ... was it your goal to preach the truth about the bible but you fell short of this and made a mistake...or are you just a liar so now ...you tell me Cowboy...did you fail to acheive your goal...or are you a liar ..or both? |

I was not thinking when I said that. Was a typo basically. I ment to say no babies DIED in the flood. We've already been through this, why must you bring up previous MISTAKES again after they've been explained again correctly? And at the moment of sinning, yes I'm sinning with whatever it may be at the time and having lied to Jesus Christ our lord. I would be sinning at whatever it may be and having lied to Jesus Christ about obeying his commandments. And again though, with asking for forgiveness comes repentance. |

Adam and Eve were in the paradise. Not heaven particularly, but paradise. They were to live for eternity. After this world passes, we will not live in "heaven". We will live in a paradise that is being made on Earth. Adam and Eve's disobedience to God brought death into this world. if Adam and Eve couldn't die then there would have been no need for The Tree of Life ....also Cowboy it was you that use to claim that a physical death was not actually death and that actually death you had to be tossed into the lake of fire ... so where you lying? "physical" death was brought into the world when we were kicked out of the Garden. Their disobedience is what brought death into this world. Any further explanation, you'll have to ask God himself when you see him. For I know not any more in depth detail on this, for it is not given to us. Yes this is true. Death was brought into the world through their failings. But God gives us a second chance to show that we are obedient to him. That is why if we do not show we are obedient, we would/will die. Thus, eternal life is a reward. It is not freely given for what Adam/Eve did. We must earn it in order to have it rather then it being freely given as it once was. |

Oh Gosh you lot are funny, Honestly I believe in God, i know he is real and loves us, but i dont think that his love is really unconditional, i am not going to quote anything as I will get it all wrong, but there where more than one time in the bible that God got so angry that he destroyed people, But he does love us. Why I have no idea, but i know he does as i have often felt his love when I have had noone else to turn to. i have known without a doubt that he has been there with me.. I am not going to try and support this either as its not a matter of whether its true or not it just is  I also believe in Satan, obviously, however i do not know enough about him to argue with anyone here. Anyway, you all have amused me tonight with your discussions, not sure exactly what to make of any of it.. "josie"...if you don't know why God loves you...then allow me to tell you why God he Loves you this you know cause the bible tells you so but the mystery is why you believe thsat someone loves you because you read it in a book maybe that explains what Mutual Match is in Mingles2 Let me ask you a question Funches. When you are in a relationship with a spouse, do you not know if that person truly loves you or not? Can you not feel the love? Or do you only know from the words they speak to you? If so, can that person not be lying? We know God loves us for we can feel God's love flowing through our veins, we can see his love made physical in life. Again, it has nothing to do with what the bible says. The bible is merely a stepping stone to having a relationship with God. It is merely the first step. After that, it becomes a personal relationship. Cowboy some people even marry those that will one day murder them but yet claim to love them but anyway .....all you actually know about God's Love is what you read in a book ........ so let me ask you a question how many times have you fallen in love with someone that you never met or spoken to that been dead for over 2,000 years but believes they love you because you read it in a book ...... |

Here I'll explain it in one post cause you obviously don't keep previously mentioned things in mind. When Adam and Eve were created, they were created in the paradise eg., Garden of Eden. Here we would live for eternity. We would never had faced disease, death, any form of pain or anything of such. We would have been God's children growing in the Garden. For what purpose we were created, I do not know for we do not have that information. Then Adam/Eve disobeyed God and ate of the tree. So in punishment God kicked them out of the Garden. And hid the heavens from Earth so we could not even cast our eyes upon it. With being kicked out of the Garden, they were introduced to disease, hunger, pain, and much more of such things. We are offered a gift of returning to the paradise made for us. This gift is rewarded to obedient children. That bout sums it up. |

What in the world are you talking about? First off, no one's preaching. Secondly we were DISCUSSING. Third, so I made one little mistake, I apologized, we moved on.... so I thought. I corrected my mistake of words once confronted with it. rCowboy....emember we were counting lies.....what if Satan said the same thing that you said...what if Satan told someone that no babies drown in the great flood but was all place on Noah's ark by God..... would you then claim that Satan made a mistake or would you claim that Satan was lying? your answer will indicate whether you get another point added to your tally of lies .. so far the tally is Satan 0 Cowboy 4 |
