Did you read the link? The main reason I attached it was to show that he was the representative of the Roman Government and he washed his hands of the crucifixion. How does that equate to: 1) Jesus being a criminal as you have so often claimed 2) show that Rome executed Him for crimes against the state 3) Pilate ordered His execution Pilate handed Him over to be Crucified. Did not do it through Roman law. the only law He would have broken is the Jewish law. Claiming to be the Son of God. But that law ONLY applies to someone saying that who is not in fact the Son of God. And since He was the Son of God, was not in violation of the law. The Jews were wrong to sentence Him to death on these grounds. He was innocent of ALL charges levied against Him. "mylifetoday" ...isn't everyone in jail or on death row innocent?...if Pilate handed him over to be Crucified then blame Pilate not the Pharisees .... if Jesus as you said may be guilty of breaking some jewish law....then that in itself showed "just cause" why Pilate should place him on trial or crucify him... Jesus broke no laws. With Jesus those laws were fulfilled, completed, finished, held no more power, and we were/are given a new set of laws with a new covenant between man and God. It is just the jews did not believe Jesus to be the promised messiah. But nevertheless, the old laws held no more power because of Jesus and again we were given a new covenant/new set of laws. |

Adam and Eve did not have the knowledge of Lust before they took from the fruit but God commanded them to be fruitful and multiply which mean they were supposed to have sex without the inclusion of Lust since they did not have that knowledge it may be Hard (no pun intended) to have sex without Lust...but when God command you to do something...you gotta do what you gotta do sex without lust may not have been that much of a problem for Eve...but with Adam it's a different story...and places a new spin on why Adam may have taken from the fruit.... |

Just as an example, you used the second half of the passage I posted to try to imply Cowboy was a fool and even a blasphemer. By posting only a portion of it you took away its true meaning. All the prophecies in the old laws were fulfilled, thus we were given a new covenant since that one was complete. It's not picking and choosing anything. God tells us ahead of time the laws only hold power till all prophecies are fulfilled. So the new laws we have been given will hold power till all the prophecies of the new covenant are fulfilled.
