---|---|
Like say you lost your job , or had a Rotten day at work , or everything you planned went wrong ,or you in dept and so frustrated cause people keep calling and bugging you, or your car broke down,or you lost your keys,or have health problems that the doctors drive you crazy with different tests and still can't find the right answers and so on ...... How would you deal with it ? do you take it out on others but don't mean too? or do you hold it in? well if i ever get into stressful situation i use to lift weights or go for a walk or drink a few beers and feed the ducks and birds ,cause life is to short and not good to worry i know it can be really hard for some ,but never hold your stress in let it out punch a bag or pillow lift weights talk to a friend or go for a walk and always remember there is a new day ahead that can be bright as sunshine and think positive and never ever give up hope but please try not to take it out on others cause your day was bad its not their fault unless your boss that fired you lollllll kidding :)my self i think positive about life well i try to and take 1 day at a time and say maybe tomorrow will be better :)cheers

Getting a good training session and violent video games to the trick for me. And when it gets real bad...I just sleep.

Getting a good training session and violent video games to the trick for me. And when it gets real bad...I just sleep. Yeah I know what you mean. But I'm 30 years old...i know its just a game and not worth getting all stressed over. But I cant deny that i used to be that way for sure. Plenty of thrown controllers back in my day. Ha ha!! |

I dont really get stressed.
I laugh at most things If i get upset i tend to giggle, and if i get really upset i will giggle a bit more and probably have tears at the same time. But really laughing through everything keeps me pretty stress free. I like everything happy and if its not i keep smiling and working at it until it is happy again. If I cant make things right I ignore them and hope it works out, but dont stress, maybe feel hurt but I keep smiling till it goes away. hmm I guess laughing at life keeps me smiling. |

Life has it's ups and downs, happy moments and sad moments.
For myself, I put on my headphones, listen to music and start cleaning something that has been put to the side, if that doesn't work, then it's time for a good work out. Sometime just writing my thoughts on paper helps until I feel better. :) |

Don't let the stress get to you in the first place and then you do not have to think of ways to relieve it, but that is just me...

Stess is a killer to some people that don't know how to handle it or allow it to eat at them. For me, I have learned to let things go that are not in my control and exercise daily relieves me of any undue stress I may have, peace.

First - get a job - any job to get some money coming in. Second,
work out daily, weights, swimming, biking, jogging, steps, spin etc. Eat especially healthy. Anything to work off some of the stress and foster a positive attitude. If I am already working out daily then I increase the intensity. If there is an external cause for the stress I take immediate steps to address the issue. Change in work, change in relationship, change whatever is producing the most negative stress. I will lean hard on my close friends and family if I need to. I know they want me to just as I would want them to lean on me - for advice and emotional support. Usually it is possible to substantially reduce the stress in the space of a few days and it really feels good to know that the situation is being addressed. After a few weeks it is hopefully ancient history. Then it gets dumped in the mental garbage can and permanently erased from memory. That reminds me. It is time for my daily morning workout! |

If I know that I am stress, I walk my dog and it makes me feel really good after.

I usually hug some of my favorite people at work when I get stressed with my workload. This works really good with me coz I kinda get refreshed and get renewed spirits after having a hug or two

Turn on some uplifting music and take a break from whatever the stressful situation is. Focus your mind on positive things and remember the other stressful situations you have already gotten through.

Some days I handle it better than others. Maybe cause I am not always stressed. I try not to get so combative with people who are combative. One of the best things I remember from nursing class when training as an aide is, "He who argues with a fool is a fool." It has benefited me on those times I could remember it. Trying to step back and refocusing helps. Its is like do I really want to get all bent out of shape about it. Some times it is like God help me I can't deal with this. In learning to realize that other are just people like myself dealing with their own problems is to realize that I have to deal with my own problems. But then there are those days when I just can't practice what I preach and just think, "Screw it." Maybe this test I am going through is for a reason. And surely there must be some reason this test has come my way. Walking is good therapy I have found and venting has become one of my favorite past times of late. I really like those two vultures perched on a limb on that picture with the saying, "Patience hell, Lets kill something." I mean sometimes you just have to get real and realize your own limitations. I mean like what can I really do about this impossible situation. I have been in these no-win situations where who knows what the right thing to do is. I do like to jam to music to take my mind off of things sometimes. Just realizing that this too shall pass works for me sometimes. But then there are those times when nothing works. It is in those times that I am just human after all.

Just like I have when most of those things have happened just one day at a time. Honestly I try very hard not to let anything stress me out big or small........

I use the Miss Scarlett approach.
'I will think about this tomorrow.. after all, tomorrow is another day!' |
