Why do relationships break ? 'The saying "familiarity breeds contempt" has ancient roots, with origins traced back to Sanskrit texts and ancient Greece. While the exact first instance is debated, it appears in English writing as early as Geoffrey Chaucer's "Tale of Melibee" in the late 14th century. The core idea is that excessive closeness or knowledge of someone or something can lead to a loss of respect or even dislike, due to a greater awareness of flaws or a taking for granted.' Door #1 ;-) |

If scientists say " we only use less than 10% of our brain " . Dose that mean they can be a little under 90% wrong ? Uh, mathwise that would be a little OVER 90%..so, you may be right ;-) |

When you sign in to M2 it will prompt you to answer
the query 'Allow' location, if you have not clicked yet to 'Allow' M2 to access your location. If, like me, you clicked on 'No' starting months ago, it has now changed and answering 'No' will now get you blocked from the site. After spending a long time trying to figure out how to get back on M2, here is a SIMPLE way. Click on the icon just left of your address bars current locale (Mingle2) the dropdown menu should have 'Location' and 'Allow'. Once that is clicked you should be able to access M2...as you can see, I have ;-) |

All the sites ebb and flow, depends on who is chatting, makes a lot of difference.
You are right, it used to be a hoot reaching its zenith in around 2010. Scammers use it now and administration is flighty. A return of the old days is always expected but rarely happens...we can but hope. |

Well, I think that Mingle might have implemented AI and that software is posting pictures. Makes sense now after I read last week that most moderators are gone, meaning being fired. AI can be a good thing and also a bad thing. Uh, the moderators were never fired, we ended up quitting when we saw how things were being over-run with scammers several years ago. We revolunteered several times, for instance, when another dating site went down a lot of their people came here..we helped to get them adjusted. I hope. It is a lot of work..and people resent you mightily, but it is also satisfying to get some kind of order that people like to visit and return. Since then they did indeed let all the admins (in The Philippines) go and it does not look like they will be replaced. |

If you found love, why would you be on here? The friends we left behind, the interest in them persists ;-) |

Me, about 15 years ago ;-)

No can do...best bet is to copy keepers offsite,
like on a text document. Otherwise they last about 30 days, unless you are a paying customer they are indefinitely held. |

Why are you sending me mail? My profile clearly states my age, and that I am here for friendship, and possibly casual dates. Like a coffee or lunch date. Not for hook ups or intimate encounters. Certainly not for any long term relationship or marriage. Why are you at 39 and still wanting kids contacting a 66 yr old widower who smokes like a train, doesn’t what kids, and never drinks. Oh and I forgot, you are on the other side of the country. Unless you are 55 or older, and live in Michigan, please don’t like me, don’t message me. Your target audience is not likely to read anything in the forums. They are busy scamming. |
