I worship the creator of this universe, whatever that might be.

Therefore, anyone who claims that I'm not worshiping their "god" is simply proclaiming that their "god" is not the creator of this universe.

Religion to me is the same as any club...an instant exclusion of all others...it's human's need for 'in-group' 'outgroup' dynamics..the need for exclusion of all that are not the same.


I don't think religion or any rigid collective of people is necessary, and if anything is detrimental to the human species survival on this planet.


Humans will always need to belong to some social collective...and will use what ever mystical and illusionary draw to create it.

If there be this creature of such magnitude, I would be awed. I would be impressed. I might even want to learn more but I wouldn't describe it as worship.

I personally use the word "worship" to simply mean "love" and "revere". And of course I'm assuming this "god" is genuinely nice, because after all, if it's not nice, then it's not a "god", it's a demon.

As far as I can see the Abrahamic 'god' is indeed a demon. It confesses to being jealous, and it even hates people who don't even believe in it. That's already a demon right there. Period.

So it's not even a religion about a "God" as far as I can see, it's a religion about a demon.

I think it depends upon how 'religion' is defined,

if it is defined by shared beliefs,,,than the question is kind of without a logical answer

its like asking if opinions are still needed, they are a part of life since the first man and have no conclusive boundary which makes them a NEED or a WANT,, they just are

same is true with religion, if we define it as a shared group of beliefs

how can the scriptures contain the essence of god if god be alive?
