All I would need to do is "BELIEVE" that Jesus is the sacrificial lamb of a God who is appeased by blood sacrifices and accept that sacrifice on my behalf. That's IMPOSSIBLE, Cowboy. It's impossible because I TRULY do not believe it. I can't change that. I can't just PRETEND to believe it to appease a God when the fact is that I DON'T believe it. Yet for some reason you are completely incapable of comprehending this simple thing. The religion that you preach about is totally inaccessible to me. I cannot believe in it. PERIOD. It's not a choice. The religion is utterly stupid, IMHO, and that's a FACT. I can't change that fact. There's nothing I can HONESTLY do to start believing in a supposedly all-wise God who is appeased by something as crude and ignorant as having someone nailed to a pole. That's just not something that I'm capable of believing. From my perspective, such an idea is utterly ignorant and disgusting. And there's no way that I can imagine a genuinely wise and loving God acting in such an ignorant and unwise fashion. So it's not even possible for me to believe in the biblical picture God. Can you understand that? Or is this over your head? It seems to me that this should be simple enough for a child to grasp. I cannot believe in a supposedly all-wise loving God who has set up a religion where the only way to earn his love is to condone a grossly disgusting bloody sacrifice to "pay" for my sins. No offense intended Cowboy, but from my perspective that very notion is utterly ignorant and don't not even come close to representing the actions of an 'all-wise' loving God. So Christianity is not even an option for me. It's just not a plausible religion, IMHO. I need someone to "explain" to me what it takes to appease this God. I'm quite sure that I already understand that fully. I just simply do not believe in this religion, and more important I cannot believe in it even if I wanted to because it's utterly absurd, IMHO. Moreover, why would I even want to believe in the religion? There is NO THREAT outside of the religion. The only THREAT that I would need to be 'saved' from comes from the religion itself! So in other words, I would actually need to believe in it FIRST, to even have a motivation to believe it. Otherwise, there's no THREAT to be saved from in the first place. The religion has absolutely nothing to offer me, not even salvation, because the very NEED for salvation is PART of the religion! It's a circular religion. You need to believe in it first in order to be "saved" by it, because until you believe in it, no one is THREATENING you. Except the Christians, of course. 
But they already fell for it. So it's a religion that's supposedly saving them from the threats that come from the very religion that's saving them. Doesn't that even make any sense? I personally don't think it does. But, in any case, everyone already knows how to obtain salvation through this religion. Just accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and that's it. Period. It's really simple. There's not a lot to understand about it. I continue on with my discussing because it's not that you "can't" you just refuse to. And I will not sit by while you stray others to be of similar beliefs depriving them of the glorious gift of heaven. When I speak to you, it's not necessarily directed at YOU. It's directed at the other people whom read these threads and have an open heart and open mind that are sincerely seeking the truth. Because if my time was specifically spent here for you, I know it would be in vein and wasted. Time is a valuable thing, I would not waste it. Time can not be regained. Once it is gone, it is gone and will never be here again. |

Misinformed? The world is merely misguided. They have their hearts on vein things of the world that will eventually ruin away. They want the shiny things. Just as why the other religions came into play, they are purely for gaining more for oneself. Christianity is about obeying our father, it isn't about gaining more for oneself. It's about loving everyone and making the world a better place for others. This is what Jesus has taught us, he has not taught us to seek for things for ourselves, but search for treasures for others. To better other's lives. |

I would not bother discussing this with you in private emails because it would be a total waste of my time, and yours. This isn't about me or you. It's about how Christianity causes people to be disrespectful of others. You say, "I continue on with my discussing because it's not that you "can't" you just refuse to." See what I mean about being disrespectful? You're basically calling me a liar and telling me what I can and cannot believe, and then you are accusing me of 'refusing' to do something that you claim I should be able to do. That's both disrespectful and hateful, IMHO. I cannot believe in the Biblical picture of God because it's a direct violation of its very own premises. It claims that God is all-wise and all-powerful and then has God setting up his son to be butchered on a pole as sacrificial lamb that must be accepted as the only way to earn God's love. To me, there is nothing wise or powerful about that. It's a totally unwise thing to do, IMHO, and would be a demonstration of desperation, not the act of an all-powerful God, IMHO. Therefore I cannot believe in these myths. They necessarily have to be false. They are unwise, and unrealistic, IMHO. There's no two ways about it. A sincere belief in Christianity is not possible for me. The only thing I could possibly do to is lie about it and pretend to believe in it to pacify the overly-arrogant Christians who can't comprehend REASON. But to sincerely believe in it? No, that's not possible for me. I have to be HONEST. To pretend to believe in it when I truly don't would be a lie. Before, you were saying that you are just here to convey knowledge of how to be saved. But now you are calling people liars and accusing them of willfully refusing God when they tell you that belief in this religion is not possible for them. That's a direct accusation and judgment against another person. You're clearly not here to convey any knowledge. You're here to accuse people of rejecting God, and to insult and grossly disrespect anyone who refuses to bow down to your religion. I cannot believe in the dogma that you preach because IMHO, it's utterly insane and does not represent wisdom. To suggest that I could choose to believe in it if I wanted to, is to call me a liar. So please don't do that again. 
I'm, telling you that it's not an option for me. Christianity is down and out for the count as far as I'm concern. It's an impossible failed religion that cannot be revived. It's in direct contradiction with the very basic tenets of what God is supposed to be like (i.e. all-wise, and all-powerful). So it must necessarily be a false dogma. There's simply no other conclusion that can be had, IMHO. It's not a choice. It's a logical fact, as far as I'm concerned. Just like 2+2=4. |

Because if my time was specifically spent here for you, I know it would be in vein and wasted. Time is a valuable thing, I would not waste it. Time can not be regained. I would not bother discussing this with you in private emails because it would be a total waste of my time, and yours. This isn't about me or you. It's about how Christianity causes people to be disrespectful of others. You say, "I continue on with my discussing because it's not that you "can't" you just refuse to." See what I mean about being disrespectful? You're basically calling me a liar and telling me what I can and cannot believe, and then you are accusing me of 'refusing' to do something that you claim I should be able to do. That's both disrespectful and hateful, IMHO. I cannot believe in the Biblical picture of God because it's a direct violation of its very own premises. It claims that God is all-wise and all-powerful and then has God setting up his son to be butchered on a pole as sacrificial lamb that must be accepted as the only way to earn God's love. To me, there is nothing wise or powerful about that. It's a totally unwise thing to do, IMHO, and would be a demonstration of desperation, not the act of an all-powerful God, IMHO. Therefore I cannot believe in these myths. They necessarily have to be false. They are unwise, and unrealistic, IMHO. There's no two ways about it. A sincere belief in Christianity is not possible for me. The only thing I could possibly do to is lie about it and pretend to believe in it to pacify the overly-arrogant Christians who can't comprehend REASON. But to sincerely believe in it? No, that's not possible for me. I have to be HONEST. To pretend to believe in it when I truly don't would be a lie. Before, you were saying that you are just here to convey knowledge of how to be saved. But now you are calling people liars and accusing them of willfully refusing God when they tell you that belief in this religion is not possible for them. That's a direct accusation and judgment against another person. You're clearly not here to convey any knowledge. You're here to accuse people of rejecting God, and to insult and grossly disrespect anyone who refuses to bow down to your religion. I cannot believe in the dogma that you preach because IMHO, it's utterly insane and does not represent wisdom. To suggest that I could choose to believe in it if I wanted to, is to call me a liar. So please don't do that again.
I'm, telling you that it's not an option for me. Christianity is down and out for the count as far as I'm concern. It's an impossible failed religion that cannot be revived. It's in direct contradiction with the very basic tenets of what God is supposed to be like (i.e. all-wise, and all-powerful). So it must necessarily be a false dogma. There's simply no other conclusion that can be had, IMHO. It's not a choice. It's a logical fact, as far as I'm concerned. Just like 2+2=4. It's about how Christianity causes people to be disrespectful of others. Christianity causes no one to be disrespectful to others. We love EVERYONE regardless of their beliefs. I have said this a million times, we love you just as we love a preacher, a priest, our neighbour, and or anyone else in the world. We do not belittle you for you beliefs as you do us. We do not insult your beliefs. Yes we may state the contrary, but we do it in a respectable way. We do it as not to cause harm but to enlighten you with what our father has instructed as. We don't treat people differently just because they do not believe, the only thing we would do differently with those particular people is tell them of the glory of heaven and of our father's great love. Other then that, we would treat you just the same as we treat our brothers and sisters in this world. |
