Not me... I just would like to cut out all the crap I read on profiles and let people really say what they're looking for. There's nothing wrong with wanting someone rich. Why not just come out and say it instead of using all those silly euphemistic terms. There are quite a few about other things, but it seems as though I'm offending people already. I guess we need to continue to beat around the bush and do the stupid dance. |

Since so much of what we read on profiles is euphemistic double talk there should be a data base for a translation of profile speak. I've added in the pedia since many people believe anything with pedia added to it (see Wikipedia) cannot be wrong. I'll start. "Looking for someone goal oriented" = wants someone who has or will have lots of money "Homebody" = usually not interested in any activity of a physical nature. Come on people. Let's see some contributions. Most of us need something like this, especially newbies. 
I think you are showing your interpretation of what it means here not so much the actual meaning. Goal oriented means self motivated. No mentally competent woman wants a lazy man. He needs to be able to have goals, work towards them and accomplish them for himself, if he wants lots of money from it cool, if he wants just the personal satisfaction from it that is cool too. Guess you have never met one of those men who just lays about, talking of what he is going to do, yet never accomplishing a damn thing. They suck and we (women) really don't want to get hooked up with one. |
