I agree, let's stop doing the stupid dance and say what we mean. I myself used the term "comfortable" meaning I don't need your money. I agree that we all to some extent use catch phases and it is just silly. If we are not honest then how should we expect honesty in return.

Having said that, in my own defense, I used "comfortable" not because more money and the security it adds wouldn't be ultimately welcome but rather to say, I am doing ok and not here for a sugar daddy.
