I can't possibly answer everything Fanta, but my last post to you was about a similar situation so I wasn't sure if your response was simply misplaced because it sounded like the answer to it was for me.

Then you are speaking of something you obviously know absolutely nothing about. California is a large state with many large area's that are very conservative. Orange Cnty, the central valley parts of the inland valley San Deigo (a little less so) are quite conservative. Might surprise you to know that many Mexicans have come here BECAUSE of the repressive beliefs in Mexico. While So. Califoria has a pretty heavy hispanic population it's still not what you claim and No Ca is definitely not that heavy.

Prop 8 was written by and sponsored by a conglomeration of Christian churches and worst of all is many were not even California based. During the campaigns they were able to outspend gay organizations many times over, easy when you scare your parishioners into believing they're going to hell if they don't donate. For ever anti-prop 8 ad there were at least a dozen pro-prop 8. Simply put they BOUGHT the proposition. And EVERY ad placed by the pro-prop 8 groups supported and endorsed by those churches, was based on lies.



Actually it is EXACTLY like there was gay marriage, there are 1000's of legally married gay couples in Ca and that right has now been ripped away. As for good, why should I or anyone else be forced to believe as they do? I don't see their hateful thinking as "good" in anyway. Nor do all Churhes.

Fanta, why is this so hard to understand. When you speak of the GLBT like this you refer to every Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transvestite in the world. They are not one cohesive group. If they were it would probably be a lot better for them, but that is not how human culture works. I am the first to admit that there are groups and organization within the GLBT community that do things poorly and often hurt things (like the current moron under discussion). But there also many organizations that DO pick their fights carefully and DO great good for the community. There are factions within the GOP that do very stupid things too as well as within the DNC, and the prolifers and the animal rights groups and the list goes on and on. Don't blame every GLBT and every GLBT organization because a few are doing stupid things.

Money pure and simple. While I do agree with you to a point it would be wise to give time for contracts to expire I suspect there will be those who withdraw advertising before all is said and done. That said it is all about money in the world today and as much of an a-hole as this guy is advertising on his site is going to get seen by a lot of people. You don't have to be gay to be supportive and knowledgeable. You could say that men that whine the most about gays are gay themselves, but that isn't alway true either. That it has been known to happen.

I know that the Christian "right" will claim ignorance to this fact but it is true.

They have had the advantage for so long they cannot see it as such anymore, they see it as a right now.

Until another walks in the shoes of the oppressed in this country they cannot fully understand.

I have beloved minority family and I have seen the discrimination and oppression they still suffer to this day but even with my "enhanced" view, I cannot fully understand how it is to stand in their shoes.

The fight for minorities and alternate sex lives will battle on. The only thing those of us who are not included in that can really do is support their struggle.

It is not against anything American to be minority or gay or lesbian regardless to what is taught.

to fight for all equal individual rights as each precious being as a "soverign" free will, free moral agent, is but to fight for love of all, which is but to fight for equal for all, which is but the only founding of all justice in the world, ALL human systems based and founded upon "all are equal" free being's, unless a law is broken, laws being to protect "against violent attacks of bodily harm", and not but for some as free, or many as free, BUT ALL AS FREE, AND IN CHARGE OF ITSELF.
