Im not watching any Barabbus videos. If you cant sum it up in your own words, then you are incapable of debating anything with me.

It's a movie on Jesus.It's a very good,well made,modern movie and gets right to the point.

Barabbus was a Jewish freedom fighter who killed many Roman soldiers and was later captured.He fought the Romans because he did not like Roman control over the Jews.

Mary Magdalene was never involed with any type of romantic relationship with Jesus.You will not find any verses in the bible on this issue.Jesus never had children.Even if Jesus did wish to have children he would have to have been married to Mary and obviously it would be a sin to try to lie and hide his relationship.If you can find any bible verses on this issue we can have a debate.Other than that it's just your own opinion and has no merit.

Well I have no interest in watching it. If it makes a point, you should be more than capable of summing it up and posting that if it is of any interest to the current debate. If not, skip it.

As mentioned, I found the character of Barabbus to be far more truthful and engaging than that of Jesus Christ.

I disagree and feel that it is more than likely that Mary Magdalene had a physical relationship with Jesus. I am not basing this information on the biblical account. What are you, nuts? The bible is excessively anti-female in tone. That would be an exercise in futility. We are BOTH clearly dealing with theories. You have no way of proving that Jesus was not intimate with Mary Magdalene and I can not positively prove that he was. One of us clearly has created a more logical argument however.

My personal belief and understanding is that Jesus loved Mary Magdalene and no, not just as "his favorite disciple". He loved her as a man loves a woman. I dont think Philip was making that up. He was simply depicting what he was seeing occur between MM and Jesus.

You consider it sinful for him to have slept with her outside of wedlock. I would consider it a sin if he had not slept with her before he was nailed to a cross.

There is much more to the story of Mary Mag and Jesus. If indeed they had sex, as soon as they did they were married. You can not have sex "out of wedlock". This is a myth purpotrated by the extreme right wing line of thinking to get us all to be good little sheep and stick the fruits of or labor into some plate somewhere so others can sit around an get fat off of the labor of someone else. It amazes me that people can argue about one little simple statement in the bible without remembering the rest. Maybe because thats they way the court of King James wanted it when they took the old latin and hebrew scrolls and chopped them into chapter and verse form. God save the Queen, righttttt. Preaching love, and at the same time talking about killing people is a contradiction I will never go along with.

If people actually did what God told them to do they would not be in the situation they are in.I don't see many bible verses where God is killing people who are following his word(if any).

God spoke and told the people of the consequences of sinning in the bible.God gave them 10 commandments.The wages of sin back then were death.If people chose to rebel against God it would be no surpise if they were destroyed by him.God can do what he wants because he made all those people.If they want to do really stupid things and ignore God word who's fault is it?

When Jesus died on the cross he paid the ultimate price for sin.He took his life for our sin that we may live forever and be forgiven.You must also remember that Satan dwells all over this earth.The bible says every good thing comes from God and ever bad thing from Satan.So instead of blaming God for everything you might want to blame the person who is resposible for it to begin with.
