Hebrews 9:27

" It is APPOINTED unto men ONCE to DIE, but after this the JUDGMENT."

http://www.gotquestions.org/reincarnation.html

:heart::heart::heart:

That scripture does not really refute reincarnation. Each incarnated life personality only dies once.... unless he is brought back to life and then dies again, which has happened.

But the higher self which contains all of those personalities, dies many times.

Besides, if reincarnation were allowed within Christianity, it would ruin all the "fear of death and hell" tactics of the Church.

That would not be good for their business and it would ruin their game. laugh

do you think i would honestly want to play this game if not necessary? gheeeeesh

Yes you would. You did. You are here.

Why does a soul (higher self) choose to play the game?

The same reason we watch movies. Entertainment and adventure.

Spirits absolutely LOVE GAMES with a passion.

Why do people climb mountains? (They could fall and kill themselves)

Why do people ski or para-sail or ride horses, or hunt wild game, or gamble, or play cards, or play the slot machines.

Why do people play and watch sports? THEY LOVE GAMES.

GOD LOVES THE GAME!

Why is computer gaming a multi billion dollar business?

PEOPLE LOVE GAMES.

It is all about the game Tribo. You came for the game.

It is time for you to learn what it is all about and stop whining. laugh laugh tongue2 tongue2 waving waving

Sorry JB, i think the game is what stps us from finding out the real meaning of this whole thing, peope become so absorbed in taking their mind off of whats really happening, they cant see what is happening. Thats not the ghame as you call it - its what keeps us from the truth and dont bother asking me what truth is - tongue2

One of the things you will find within the game are people who are playing the game sometimes get very involved and very serious. They do not realize it is a game and when they meet someone who sees the games they are playing for what they are and calls them on it, they will get very upset and start yelling this:

"This is not a game!"

They hate it when their very serious games and dramas (that they have attracted) are not taken seriously. They live to suck people into their drama, and they love to dump their drama and their life problems onto someone else and they love to suck you into their game.

Some people have perfected this game of manipulation of others. It is the game of getting what they want through manipulation of other people. (Just one of many games in this world) They use guilt, fear, sympathy, sad stories, blah blah blah. But the point is they want you in their game and they want something from you.

A great book to read on that subject is "The games that people play."

In one respect you are correct. Part of the game is to keep the truth hidden. The truth that this is a game is one of the things that is kept hidden at all cost. That is why this reality is full of lies and deceptions everywhere.

But everything boils down to either a game or an interesting story (mystery, drama, etc.) that is for entertainment.

This brings up the whole issue of - "why, if were able to re-incarnate and come back here, why should we choose to came back as no more intelligent or wise than we were before?

Have you ever played the same game more than once? Monopoly? Gin? Baseball?

If so, why did you not choose to start the game with more money or more cards or more points?

If you chose to come back and play the same game over and over again, then it was your choice and the only one who knows for sure why you made that choice is you.
But if i can only know and make that choice when im not here then it is not really a choice - games here played over and over are either out of boredom or love of the game - but that is both by choice - if when here i'm not aware of the choice it is not a real choice
I'm not following the logic.

If you choose to play a game. Once you've made that choice you cannot change the fact that you made it. You can choose to stop playing the game if you wish. But the original choice to play the game was a choice, whether you change your mind later or not. And it was still a choice, if you forget that you made the choice.

if when I'm there if I'm not aware of what the game will consist of here then there is no real choice. its a catch 22

Same thing here. If you choose to play a game, that is a choice, regardless of whether or not you know what the rules of the game are beforehand.

do you think i would honestly want to play this game if not necessary? gheeeeesh

I dunno. But it seems to me that you can blame it on someone else ("it's the game designer's fault that I'm losing"), or you can take personal responsibility for it ("I really suck at this stupid game.")
  laugh drinker
Sky, your assuming i made the choice to play, first off to be able to make that chioce i would have to see and know and agree with the game - i have no racall of that so until i do i thinks its malarky. bull, not true.
No problem there. We're all just expressing opinions. I didn't mean it to sound like to was stating a dogma. Sorry of it came off like that. drinker

to me there exist a spirit world, thats all i know, all else is up for interpretation, i dont think anyone has enough proof of reincarnation to build there beliefs around them as acceptable. but thats just my opinion.
No less valid an opinion than mine for sure.

We have different experiences so it's natural we reach different conclusions from those different experiences.

Is your life going in circles? Do you keep repeating the same mistakes over and over? That is probably because you are not learning what you need to learn.

If you burn your hand in a flame, you learn that flames are hot. If you don't learn that, then you might become a fireman and make a career out of running into burning buildings. laugh

to the rat it's not a game ...the rat was most likely placed in the maize not of it's own choosing and if the rat learned anything he learned not to come back into the maize and to beware of the one that place it in the maize ...so can you explain why you wish to keep coming back

But everything boils down to either a game or an interesting story (mystery, drama, etc.) that is for entertainment.

One experience I've had suggests that it IS a game is that, when people get close to death, they seem to either gain back a free sense of humor or express one that may have never been fully expressed.

My mom, for example...

In life, she was always funny, but not like my dad. My dad expressed and still expresses this dark kind of urbane humor. My mom didn't have to try, but still stood in the shadows of my dad's antics.

In the few days just before she died, she was free and funny... Really funny. People came from all over the hospital to visit her. She was like a magnet. Three weeks after her death, I gave birth to my daughter (now about to turn 3).

In the delivery room, I felt my mom's presence (to me it was undeniable). As if she filled every square inch of that room. Everything became funny to me. Every word I said... Every word said to me. It felt as if my mom and I had this sort of private joke going during the whole labor. Earlier, when I had first arrived at the hospital, the woman in admissions was really short with me. The father of my girl ("husband") was quite inpatient and nasty with me. As I was sobbing on my way into the delivery room, I said: "I want my mom!"

Seconds later, this calm came over me and I began to laugh. I know this doesn't count as "proof" to anyone else. That day, I got that it was/is a game. At least that's what I "felt" my mother conveying.

Perhaps. If you think this world is hurting for adventure and drama and opportunity, you need to expand your view of it.

But that is probably why one lifetime here is not enough to experience this world. It takes hundreds of lifetimes.

The next adventure out of this maize will be totally different.
