There's no use arguing with you, cause you're just not going to see it any other way. Maybe one day, you'll realize there is a whole other world out there, outside your little bubble. And realize that many, many, many people out there don't think the way you do. Not having the same beliefs you do does not make them wrong, whether you think it's wrong or not.

It says that most people are more conservative in their lifestyles than not, & don't see abnormal behaviors as equal to the norms.

conservative is for smaller government, which means less government regulating our lives, if they where truly conservative they would have voted no, for government to butt out.

But Neo conns have moved away from conservatism, back to the middle ages of puritanism where the beliefs of the church trump freedom.

I just saw of Fox that a church donated over 1 million$ for support of Prop8..THEY SHOULD LOSE THEIR TAX EXEMPTION AND PAY TAXES....I AM OUTRAGED!!!!!!

Well actually our founders knew that self control along with being responsible contributed to being free.

You can't have less govt. with people who are so needy. That's always been the conservative POV. For example, welfare was set up to give assistance...but then they expanded the program making an entire class of people dependants. We were called the bad guys for saying so but stopping the welfare "entitlement" actually helped to bring up many with minority status. Yet REPS are still called the bad guys for that one.

I find it really appalling that many would rather put hateful labels on those who would challenge these things as worthless & it also hinders anything of substance that will actually help people to come into their own.

I don't like the divisive way LIBS exploit people when they really copped out on the job losses in america or why would they push for natl. helthcare instead? It's not a black, white, man, woman, union, non union thing...these are working class issues. I'm not a socialist but I do believe in some govt.

Puritanical ideas is what keeps us from having govt. explosions...that's my point.

No church should have to sacrifce their values for tax exemption...that's blackmail. Freedom of speech should NEVER be infringed upon. NEVER!

A stamp? A million dollars to support it is a yes vote. They should not keep the exemption and publicly paticipate in politics..Period!!!

I think that is what is ruining our country.

Proposition 8 just proved my point. Marriage is not a union of souls as some would have us believe. Marriage is a union of male genitalia and female genitalia. As long as you have those parts you're ok to get married. This saddens me as it seems to remove the entire idea of love. Love is a feeling not a gender, it cares not whether you are gay, straight or bi. How one feels about a person should decide whether they will be wed or not.

What's more sad are those who don't think their actions affect others. That couldn't be more WRONG!
