i think there are exemptions to the rule...


i think that some people use abortion

as a " cop out "

cause they weren't being responsible...


and before anyone gets mad at me...


my heart breaks for those women


and for their unborn babies


when the Mothers are in dire straits


and feel that there is no other choice...

You are welcome to that view Rapunzel and Im sure many actually share that sentiment, however do you or do you not feel this choice should remain in the hands of the women faced with an unwanted pregnancy for any reason?

formula and basic needs for single Moms...


to help pregnant single Mothers make better choices



and there just may be places where you live


that are charity organizations to help you too


if you find yourself in that predicament


so that abortion doesn't have to be the choice

I have posted several times in here and have gone thru and re read all the posts and stand by my first one...

What blows my mind is this.... MEN think that this is some easy decision for a woman to make.. like what color shoes to wear with her new dress...come on now... I dont think its the norm for women to use abortion as birth control, in fact i think its quite the opposite,, give us a little credit will you??

Your question is not easy to answer...

so i will just express how i feel




As a Mother of three wonderful awesome Children

i would not change it for anything in the world...

no matter what hardships i have been through

or what toll their births have taken on my body

I have two grown Daughters & one grown Son

a Daughter & Boy & Girl Twins

in their early 30's

my oldest Girl is 34 & the twins are 32

and I have three young grandchildren too


15, 10 And almost 5




What you ask is a huge decision to make

and i am very fortunate to say

that i have never been in a personal situation

where i even remotely contemplated
abortion for myself




firstly...i have to say


i would hope that people choose life over death


but i do know that there are a lot
of extenuating circumstances

that make choices difficult to make


and i hope that we as woman truly revere the gift

that we have been given ...

to bring new life into the world ...

and to respect that gift

for i believe that it is greater

than them all


I believe that God has entrusted us
with an amazing gift ...

to be the Earth Mother
and to be able to replenish the Earth
with our own kind....


and i think we should never
take that gift & honor lightly ...


and as far as whether we have the right to do

what we will to our bodies...


I just don't know it just hurts me soooooooo

when Motherhood should be

well then, if a woman is absolutely positive

that she doesn't want a child in the first place....


she should make completely sure

that she doesn't get pregnant at all , then

Luckily I have never been in a situation that I felt that abortion was an option for me, and I certainly won't judge anyone else for making a decision that I may have made at the time.

This whole issue is a blow in the face of women. The women carry the burden of children whether they want to or not. If a woman gets pregnant and isn't married SHE is the one who made the mistake, SHE is the one who pays the price. Men have the option to walk away. (Not that they all do, and I know some single fathers on here who the mothers have actually walked away)

As a woman how can any of us treat other women like we do? We judge them for making decisions that we never had to make in the situations we have never been in? That's just bullsh*t. No wonder there's no equality, we don't give it to ourselves for f*ck sake.

You can be against abortion for yourself. But you let other women decide for themselves what is right FOR THEM.

I expect such stupidity from SOME of the men around here, but from some of the ladies? Give me a break. It's a power struggle, and you will soon learn the more power you give away over others the more power you have within yourself.

Not just men, but some women, apparently, too... Abortion is not a light matter, and in my experience the women who treat it like just another form of birth control are few and far between.

To the men who are against abortion and think women use abortion as birth control, are you sitting down with each woman before you have sex with her and discussing what to do if she happens to get pregnant?

They're not thinking with that brain at that time.

But..it is the right thing to do.

Afterthought - I think, though, that there is a good chance that they will say anything that they think that we want to hear at that time.

If they're so worried about things being done their way, they should be doing this before they have sex with anyone.
