Yes, I would be the first to fly a peace, united human race flag, were one ever to exist. What I am saying is why is it ok for jewish people to be offended by the use of the swastika and for everyone to get why the people who use it are racist? But oh no the confederate flag should be respected. It's all an assumption like the one regarding the American Flag, the Gay Pride Flag, the Confederate Flag. We assume therefore it must be All just material - it's how 'we individually' define then and place value on them that makes us stay stagnant and incapable of moving on and upward. jmo How are you respecting their memories, by instigating and continually perpetrating negativity? Dont misunderstand I live and am an active member of the real world. I worship no one, and certainly not a piece of fabric. how do you know they held slaves very few southerners held slaves and even lower percentage of confederate soldiers had slaves your line ---- they were and still are po white trash and that is why they are so hateful--- now who is the one being racist and hateful interesting very interesting |

Because I refuse to let them created a fiction of what their ancestors did and so make it alright! How can you justify you family as being noble to fight for "states rights" while they were with- holding basic human rights of others. How can you not get how disgusting and loathesome that is? misread your post the first time - had to reread -your definition of honoring your ancestors and mine are quite different (no surprise there  ) I honor my ancestors by making sure to keep their memories alive and fresh. Not by sharing, instilling or teaching hatred or dislike. But I am open to the stories of others, I am willing to learn, research, find out, I respect the stories of others, however, I am not swayed by most stories. The only things that can affect us are those we allow  read my last sentence - The only things that can affect you/us are those we allow. If you/we do not allow others to dictate how we feel, they have no power no power = no control no control = no hatred (I hope) should equal = peace, love and unity united as one people -- hell never know maybe in my lifetime  |

No, not all white southerners are not racist, I lived in Russellville, Ar. and only about 50% of them were.

No, not all white southerners are not racist, I lived in Russellville, Ar. and only about 50% of them were. I lived in Lousianna for a few years, spent some time in tennesee as well. I may have met one or two racist people, and i met A LOT of people. |

Well I'm a mutt and don't care, I probably have 6 races in me, some including, German, Cherokee, and Irish to name a few, whos gonna hate me? And who am I gonna hate. Everybody I guess.
