I agree with many points in this thread. I think that all the people that think they should be allowed to think and choose as they wish...should also do the same with Christians.....I have had this battle with every single person here. I am told what I believe is myth......hmmmm that to me doesn't seem to be letting me believe as I choose....

I am set in my beliefs but I also say anyone can believe what gets them through the day......."free will" says so.......I love all people but I don't love their sin....But I am also not that person so that is their gig not mine....And for no man to sin is a dellusion if they think that way....for all sin.

If a Christian enters a room and tells all they are sinners....well shame on them. If I saw this as a Christian they would get a tongue lashing...

In order for their to be sin it stems from right and wrong. Now of course if you don't want to look at the bad as sin.....I think that is perfectly fine. But for me I do look at bad as sin.....Now let's break this down a bit. If my phone rings and my youngest picks it up....And I say I am not here even though I am....Is that a sin....no....is it wrong....yes because it is showing my daughter that lying is ok. And some might say this type of "white" lie is ok.....for me no....It would be better and set the better example to answer and say you are busy and will call back.

yes bad can comes in many forms and yes Christians hold themselves up to high standards...but also can be the biggest sinners because of the expectations placed on them. It doesn't matter if a sin hurts anyone a sin is a sin.

And I agree babies are not born bad.....Jesus loves the children the most....Out of the mouths of babes. I do however believe that once a child knows right from wrong...they can choose to be bad or good. I also believe that when your a child of bad bad circumstances you grow up to do the same. I also believe in generational curses.....which I won't go into here...but maybe later.

And I think you misunderstand original sin.....No one can sin until they know the difference between right and wrong....Take for example the kid that went and killed another lil boy for no other reason then to watch it happen...this was a huge case. He started off killing animals and it just escalated....Now he knew that it was wrong and he still did it anyway.....was this now bad or sinful behavior.....Both....because you never never take the life of another....sin...But I also think he was a classic case of his environment.

It is no one job's to judge anyone. Only one Judge...and trust me that is no one here. I think the only major difference at least for me....Is when I sin...I know it instantly....it doesn't change that I sinned or maybe it does......Because I try to live as if I walk with Jesus and what would he do?

Peace love

A man and a woman are opposite polarities that attract like magnets. During sexual intercourse they exchange energy which climaxes into a huge exchange of energy called orgasm. Man needs the female energy and woman needs the male energy to balance each other. According to Taoist teachings (foot note: book “Taoist Secrets of Love, Cultivating Male Sexual Energy” by Mantak Chia and Michael Winn) a man has a limited amount of sexual energy and a woman has an unlimited amount of sexual energy. Woman can achieve multiple orgasms but in most cases man cannot. It means woman is far superior to man when it comes to sex. That would explain why in most cases men often fall asleep after intercourse and women seem to have enough energy to go for a jog around the block. On the other hand, women loose their sexual energy during menstruation, resulting in moodiness, and being emotional, or they may experience a change in their sexual desire at this time. It is not the act of ejaculating semen or discharging menstrual blood that makes us loose energy, but it is just the physical outcome of energy being moved out. To me this sexual imbalance is still an unsolved mystery. Since men and women are supposed to be equal opposites, which function in a perfect balance and harmony, then why the difference when it comes to sex and sexual energy?

Hey Mirror-

Im not sure how you got on this topic but I did find it interesting. I have not studied these aspects of Taoism and duality.

However, I was curious. Under this theory how is it that males are able to achieve orgasm on their own or with other males?

Where do they acquire the "female energy" needed?

Thank you for explaining your thoughts feral.

I found this interesting and I was surprised that you didn't have the same things to say about sin as I have been faced with before. No, I don't think I do understand "original sin" I have heard different explanations for it and none of them seemed at all likely or reasonable.

Peace and joy.

PEOPLE you chance to rectify the "Christian label" problem is at hand. I have created a thread JUST FOR YOU, to let us ALL know the differences between Christians.

If you are tired of whinning about it, than fix it. Go the the thread called What's the difference

and let us know when and why there would be a difference between you and other Christians.

Sadly I started the same type of thread for discussion about the differences in how atheists view their beliefs and it was deleted because nobody had the balls to answer the questions or even comment on the OP but simply bashed, ridiculed, and discounted the thread because I am not an atheist. This is an interesting tun of the table indeed. I hope your thread doesn't go the same way. flowerforyou

people can say im insane!, but i do believe that we could not evolve as quickly as we did without intervention from another source.

There was nothing quick about evolution. On the contrary I was thinking just the opposite only yesterday. If there were a divine force directing evolution then why did it take millions of years?

So I'm thinking just the opposite. If divine intervention was involved it shouldn't have taken nearly as long as it actually did.

Can we even comprehend the time scales that we’re talking about?

Let’s pretend that the average human being lives for 100 years just to get a nice round number.

That’s the sum total that any human being can experience time.

So given this number how long (in human lifetimes) is 1000 years?

Well clearly it would ten lifetimes. Ten LONG 100 year lifetimes. In truth average humans don’t make it to 100. But we’re just playing here.

So ten long lifetimes in a thousand year.

How about ten thousand years, Well, that’s another factor of 10 to that would be 100 lifetimes.

How about 100,000 years? That would be a thousand lifetimes!

We’re already well beyond anything we can even pretend to comprehend. And we haven’t even gotten to a million years yet.

One million years would represent 10,000 lifetimes! You can’t even fathom what that would be like. Ten Thousand lifetimes! And that’s assuming that are all 100-year lifespans.

But we’re just getting started,…

The evidence for the first most-primitive single-celled creatures on earth is 3,500,000,000 years ago.

That’s 3 billion 500 million years ago.

Translated into 100-year-long human lifetimes that would be 35,000,000 lifetimes!

Thirty-five Million lifetimes!

You can’t even begin to comprehend such a vast amount of time.

Why would you say that life evolved so quick? It wasn’t quick at all. In fact, it was actually quite slow I think. I would think that if there was divine intervention why would it take so long? It should have happened almost overnight if there were divine intervention involved. Or at least within the first million years for sure. Also, why get side-tracked into creating dinosaurs that lived for about 300,000,000 (300 million years) if they weren’t even the goal of the divine intervener? huh

No mone bashes Christians just some of the intolerance and the smugness of the born agains.I feel they may be the suprised ones on judgement day.anyone who think heaven is just for them is a deleusional person.I believe God sent his son here to die for our sins but I don't have to testify, force my believes on people and I certainly know if someone calls a Christian an asshole,Jesus has nothing to do with it.

A bumper sticker is brought to mind
Jesus loves you.
Everyone else thinks your an a$$hole.

Once your at that stage the evolution can proceed very quickly. But even that took a couple million years.

If you're looking for Intellegent Degsign look to the atoms, not to bilogical evolution. Aske why the carbon atoms come together with the other atoms to form DNA in the first place.

If DNA is the blueprint for life, then the Carbon Atom is the blueprint for DNA.

There's no need for a baby-sitter to help evolution along. If you want to believe that a God designed evolution he did it when he designed the carbon atom (and the other atoms as well).

There was no need to baby-sit the process after that.

I AM A CHRISTIAN.

I have no problem with others beliefs, I just find the Christian bashing a little harsh. I tend to not speak up when someone groups ALL of us Christians together in the same group of people. Some of which I will note show a certain lack of tolerance, but please remember, not ALL of us are like that and it shows your ignorance to place a negative thought on a group of people, many of which you dont know and have failed to try to know. Some Christians or Some people might think like that but it is not ALL of us.

Thank you.

To each their own. Everyone has a path they will take over their lifetimes. Nobody should judge.

I've been harassed here before when I have made my religion known. I am a Satanist. (Watch the fire and brimstone begin... I think it's funny.)

I don't think Antone Levey Satanists worship Satan. I don't even think they believe in Satan. I read the book, it has quite a reasonable philosophy.

Churchianity is a pejorative term used to describe practices of Christianity that are viewed as placing a larger emphasis on the habits of church life or the institutional traditions of a specific Christian denomination than on the teachings of Jesus.

Woe is me! I guess I deserve to be cast into eternal damnation for that terrible sin!

You got this part right.

BTW...It IS ALL about Jesus. Again...your arguement is with God not His children. I suggest you take it up with Him...but I seriously doubt you have the courage to do so. You are too buzy listening to your own human thoughts & argueing with other people.

One day though.... LOL Maybe when your brain shuts down long enough to HEAR something better...then you will know what we already know.

It's called ...the TRUTH. drinker  drinker

If you "already know" something, why does nobody have any reasonable answers to any of the questions I have asked?

It is because you don't know I think.

Can your explain your truth to someone so that it actually makes sense?
