If your cards are removable (most are), simply remove them and put them in a card reader slot. you can download them a=or burn them to deisc, format your cards and sell them.

EA is currently working on another Crysis game, and as Crysis is a top seller for them, they are going to get those out first.

deleting your cookies is a very good place to start as is a registry scan. Many of those so called warning are just registry entries designed to pop up in certain domains.
Cleaning out your registry will eliminate those type of entires, as they are not affixed to any system program, therefore they have an invalid path and will be deleted. To do this, I use Uniblues Registry Booster. It will scan your registry, give you the results, and even back up your current registry before cleaning. You can even browse through the results and uncheck the entries you don't want cleaned.
The program cost about 35$ or so, but it's well worth the money in my opinon. I have never had a registry problem in the two years I have used this program. Just a thought.....

multiple AVs is a more secure route, but it seems that it would also bog down your system. I prefer the AVG with ad-aware and spybot SD. Bewteen those three program, I have ben able to keep my system virus, adware and bot free for a very long time.
But then again it is user preference.

You can set up AVG to scan discs as well, but it requires the user to access the interface under advanced setting to do this. For an average user, any antivirus that runs on automatic is good for those who just want to install and forget about it.

Avira IS an excellent antivirus, as is NOD32, however, I host server for online gaming, and both antivirus are pretty anal rententive in kicking out those who join, at least with AVG, I can let them into the server and unless they try anything with their packets, they don't get kicked. But then, one always needs an antivirus that is designed to suit ones needs.

If that message does pop up again and google is working, look down by the clock on your screen and see if you have a colored shield.
If so, that is the new virus spreading. What it will do, is block you from accessing the web unless you download their 'program'. It is not a program, but a hacker virus, and it's designed to steal all of your personal info and upload it to the web.
If you do get this, run a complete virus scan, but disconnect fromt he internet when you do. You do not want this little bugger to have interent access when your scanning, it will 'jump' away so to speak, then return after the scan.
Find it and kill it. If you have a registry cleaner program, I would suggest running it, this program MUST have a registry entry to run. Remove the registry entry, and it cannont run.
If it pops up with a warning window and says you might be infected witha virus, do not attempt to close the window conventionally.
Bring up your taks manager and close it that way, otherwise you will unwittingly download and install the fake program. Once in your system, it is difficult to remove.
This new virus masquerades as a microsoft product, and it is NOT. I have already contacted microsoft and confirmed this. They say that they will investigate this...we'll see.

I highly recomend AVG to my customers, I like the fact that you can go into the vault, and send any quarentined item to AVG for analysis. To me that is a big plus, of course that means the update database relies heavily on user input. All in all, I enjoy that it does not use very much system memory, and its scans can be made to be either quick and easy, or long and comprehenisve.
I have seen AVG pick up trojans that Norton's,
PC-Cillin, Panda, and others let slip by.

...when every add you run across or pops up...doesn't have trojan dropper in it!

I have ahd a moonfruit domain for almost three years, and I get three websites with it

http://www.moonfruit.com

Reasonable prices, and the abilty to have it automatically paid through credit card or checking account through the Worldpay system. There are upgrades available for more $$.

For free, there is always http://zoomshare.com
Zoomshare is html based, and gives you plenty of options and is a user friendly editor. Of course you will get adds on the top banner...but then what do you want for free? I would suspect that if you want a decent site, you may have to squeeze a few pennys out of your wallet. surprised

The add and remove panel gets it's data from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

What has happened is either you have already uninstalled that program and registry didn't get fully updated,

or

Few keys are missing from a subkey of the one I list, corresponding to the program in question.

You can add them back. Just find the subkey and add binary values "NoModify" and "NoRepair", and set them to 1.

These will not work if there wasn't corresponding mechanism provided for repair and modification.

In this case, Uninstall, reboot, reinstall.

Yup, what he said

Not too bad for Anti-Virus, but I'll stick with AVG. AVG has everything NOD32 has, but much better support both online and by phone. All in all, I don't think I'd switch.

Flirt? What the heck is that? The only people I've met are in the forums. The rest of the site is just a glossy overcoat.

I was with my wife for 20 years. After she passed, I have found it extremely difficult being alone. I think I am too used to having that companion there, and I think I took for granted that it would be me going first, not her.
Yes, if I found the right one, I would get married, after all in 20 years...I never had one complaint I can think of.
