Don't ya know? Obama signed a Presidential order for restrictions on corporate lobbying because he wants lobbyist money. The Dem's want HC reform because they are all on the Insurance lobbyist's payrolls. Come on argue something even worth thought! Obama has his supporters just like they all do! Unions are probably the main source of cash but he has many! It's a matter of economics to run a successful campaign and i wouldn't say Obama agrees with everything his supporters think i would only know that he will give them consessions like Republicans will give consessions to their supporters. He is a lame duck and Egypt proves it! Ahh! we finally hear from the right wing about a political opinion about Egypt. Please expand on this. I would be really interested in knowing how this argument plays out.
Where do i start? If you expect me to argue for democracy in Egypt because I demand it here you are wrong! Cause i am not ashamed to admit my idealology ends at the border! I care about my country and whatever you beleive about Egypt a powder keg it is! How do we as a country benefit most? That's my argument period! I will side with the current regime because we know what we got and it's not bad under the circumstances. A pseudo democracy which is an actual theocracy is not the solution for the Egyptians and especially not Americans! So Obama stating he is behind a change is so ignorant it actually makes me consider what is his true agenda? Is he an American first? Is our president fighting for what is best for our country or is he merely an idealist and refusing to look at history? |

They incorporate agendas as if there is a mass conspiracy and all are in lock step of thought! One man's agenda is different from the other! Ideals may ally on both sides but no one on either side is in complete lockstep unless your a moron! There are thousands of agendas on both sides of the aisle and the American citizen is at odds with most! So just cause you see a wealthy man standing beind a politician don't beleive they are in lockstep okay? Trust me they have their own personal agenda! |

Ron Paul is an idiot! Agree or disagree with Ron Paul that is hardly the correct definition of the man! He is by far one of the most honest men in washington and a very brilliant doctor! I seriously doubt you could for a momment debate this man on history, current events, or constitution! I don't agree with him on everything either but he is a good man! |

I'm not saying their reaction is justified, but to be realistic and fair, cops are only human. When you take your chances and flee from them, it's a natural tendency for them to enter into a state of high stress and anxiety. After all, they're charged with potentially entering into harm's way by chasing and apprehending suspects who they don't know from Adam. They don't know that the subject isn't going to turn and fire on them, take hostages, commit a desperate car jacking or what... During and after a chase, their adrenalin levels go off the charts and I'd dare anyone to always maintain their composure in a life threatening situation like that... It's easy to judge them as criminal by witnessing the end result of the chase, but I doubt that many who would dismiss their behavior so assuredly actually put themselves in the cop's shoes while the chase and all of its potential for disaster are occurring. Again, I'm not saying it's right, but anyone who's ever been in a combat type situation understands the tunnel vision you experience while coping with a deadly serious threat, and a chase IS a threat. It's a threat to potentially any innocent bystander, as well as the officers involved in the chase. jmo Hmmm...let's rephrase your point! I'm not saying stealing is justified but after all theifs are human and when you grow up in the ghetto, blah, blah, blah! Crime is crime and they should be proscuted to the fullest extent of the law and thrown in prison period! |

why do people assume that the mob is the majority? I mean look at the protest's against Obama or Bush in the past! When we are giving 2 billion plus in aid and other military aid why don't we have a say? Obama is making his second great blunder! We do not need another theocracy in the middle east and calling for change that's exactly what he may get! For one moment set aside the rhetoric and look at the reality! argue away here but I know for certain that this bill will not get past the supreme court and will be the end of Obama! He is a failed president and that's a fact jack! The country will move further right and in 2012 things will be so bad economically the right will win another landmark victory! Let's hope they do as promised this time and start making large scale cuts! Americans don't want big brother bigger and they are demanding policies written that protect the working man. I predict the left has moved so far left they no longer represent the working class and the working person has finally figured this out! They are now the party of the welfare receipient or union thug! They no longer relate with the working class!

How anyone could want Obamacare is beyond me! Expecting government to fix healthcare is just crazy and ignorant of history! When will people learn? I really think it will take complete bankruptcy for people to realize there is only one answer to lifes problems! Self reliance and hard work! There is no free lunch, maybe a lunch paid for by other but not free! Government needs to know their role, and offering provisions of any kind without work is a bad plan! No matter the problem government will never be the answer because the idealology is flawed! It will always be flawed because power corrupts! This has been proven 100% of the time! A utopia will always exsist in the minds of the ignorant because dreaming is all they are capable of. When forced to give actual results the idealist always comes up short and will become a realist. The human spirit can be measured and reality dictates that when a person works and gives true effort they demand results and results occur. When idealology is the measuring stick the rule of science is removed and results become an after thought! Nature's laws are cruel and may not be ideal but create results! No idea can change this only prolong the inevadible! Government healthcare at best is only a temp fix and will never last because America is the leader in world economics not a hanger on like other socialist systems! A government healthcare in America would represent the third largest economy in the world! we are not talking Great britan or canada here, we are talking numbers that exceed Any government budget other than China! Obamacare is all idealology and will not work and no matter your opinion that is fact and either today we realize that or in our future we will, but i gurantee you one thing it will be scrapped because it's ignorance and it is only a matter of when we will scrap it!

I think it is the last place we need to cut, our children are FAILING and as cliche as it is they really are our future. Cut their source of funding and protection and you cut our future place in the world. so long as we keep health care repeal, the medicare is not an issue as they will or should already have their own health insurance. If the 50 percent cut includes salaries, its not deal, otherwise it all sounds peachy well healthcare repeal is another issue in which i want more consessions for, the 50% comes in forms of jobs not salary cuts. cut DOE jobs! You forgot Cut ALL Subsidies, cut off foreign aid, cut off ALL give aways, Cut back on all levels of bureaucracy, AND MOST OF ALL END THE FEDERAL TREASURY AND IRS! |

Either the NRA admits there's a reasonable line to be drawn, based on how lethal a weapon is, or it doesn't. If it's the former, then that's great news, and a welcome change -- one that could finally enable us as a nation to have a sensible debate as to where that line should be drawn (for example, at high-capacity magazines).
