A new poll finds that more Americans have a favorable view of Socialism than Teabaggers. Just barely, it's true, but these days we'll take what we can get.

Americans have been watching the Teabaggers for almost two years now, and as it turns out, unbridled, spittle-producing rage isn’t very popular.

52 percent of Americans now hold unfavorable views of the tea party, a new high. Nearly three-quarters of Democrats – including as many moderate and conservative as liberal members of the party – have negative views of the political movement, as do half of all independents.

As they always do, wingnuts are blaming the media — but these numbers are almost identical to the same poll’s findings in June 2010 — well before the ‘Baggers got blood libeled [sic].

Only 35% of Americans like the Teabaggers, about the same number that like Saudi Arabia. Kinda figures. Both love to drill for oil, hate gays, and believe in theocracy.

Russia, on the other hand — the country that Republicans still love to demagogue — has a net-positive 47/45 favorable rating.

As for socialism, it’s viewed favorably by 36% of Americans, a fact which will just make Teabaggers even angrier and crazier.

Pretty easy to see why Republicans like Marco Rubio are having second thoughts about throwing in with these people.

The Tea Party loves gays and many gay conservatives have talked at their rallies. I guess you haven't heard of GOProud? Too busy slandering your neighbors to notice that they view everyone as their equals regardless of their gender, race, religion or sexual orientation? The Tea Party is about fiscal responsibility and every day more people become aware of that.

I mostly agree with that both parties dems and repugs are the two wings of the capitalist party. I tend to lean dem due to the fact they are more pro labor more pro environment and at least pay lipservice to the plight of common folks. Though a viable third party is needed I dont see it anywere yet and have realy no choice cept to vote dem.

Ever hear of Sarah Palin?laugh

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a "task that is from God."
In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it "God's will."

Palin asked the students to pray for the troops in Iraq, and noted that her eldest son, Track, was expected to be deployed there.

"Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God," she said. "That's what we have to make sure that we're praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God's plan."

Palin told graduating students of the church's School of Ministry, "What I need to do is strike a deal with you guys." As they preached the love of Jesus throughout Alaska, she said, she'd work to implement God's will from the governor's office, including creating jobs by building a pipeline to bring North Slope natural gas to North American markets.
"God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that," she said.

And the Wall Street Journal reports

At the Pentecostal church where Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin worshipped for more than two decades, congregants speak in tongues and are part of a faith that believes humanity is in its "end times" -- the days preceding a world-ending cataclysm bringing Christian redemption and the second coming of Jesus.
The Rev. Ed Kalnins, pastor of the Pentecostal church, Wasilla Assembly of God, says he has told church members that God put President George W. Bush in office and that America is locked in a "holy war" with terrorists.

Interesting...nothing about turning the USA into a theocracy. Do you feel that a public figure can't mention their religion? Did you feel that way about President Bill Clinton and do you feel that way now about President Barack Obama?

I think a politician needs to cater to the religouse types in order to get elected but IF Obama started asking people to pray for a better economy in a seriouse matter I would think he was bat **** crazy.

At first i wondered why the left wingers called us tea-baggers and then i figured it out! I was watching my son play a video game and it was one of those war games. Well after he killed one of the other players he actually got his character to tea-bag the dead player. Then it came to me! Liberals feel this way! They feel as if we are mounted over them grinding our junk in their face....lol wow what a demoralizing feeling! So if i am a tea-bagger, i guess it's better than being the tea-baggee...poor liberals! So if you are a liberal I tea-bagged i'm sorry! Next time i will try and be gentle!

There is no law that allows abortion, it's a ruling by the supreme court. Anyone who values the rule of law should be offended by Roe v Wade and want to see it overruled, so that abortion could be decided on the State level as the founders intended. Something tells me that you wouldn't support that...

Russia is great..

They put political opposition in jail. Murder reporters that expose their connection to organized crime or genocide in chechnya.

It shouldn't surprise me that the progressives are showing their love of these fascist tactics. There was no bigger group of cheerleaders in America for the National Socialist German Workers Party than the progressive elite.

If there is one place on this earth that will never allow a secular progressive fascist dictatorship its the USA.

Never.. Ever..

If you took the time to read the post you would see that it simply states that the Russia is viewed more favorably by random americans than the tea party. I didnt see anyone actualy demanding a right wing fascist state. I do however suggest you brush up on your history. If you think the National Socialist German Workers Party is left wing I have some swamp land for sale.
