I thought I'd stop by and post my poem. Hope you enjoy it.

you know the way in
you know how to step out
finding inner peace
is what this is about

be at peace, be at peace
be calm, be calm
let these words soothe you
as if a warm balm

be at one with the universe
feel the ocean, see the stars
you have left your body
no boundaries, no bars

everything stops,
no sense of time or space
you now have found your way into
that very special place

floating, floating
serenity achieved
a state of heighten awareness
you'll never want to leave

carry this calm within you
walk with it all day
let not the behavior of others
destroy it in any way

letting go gives you freedom
let freedom your heart sustain
be at peace for life is beautiful
for this I maintain

This is one of my favorite poems that I have written. I have posted it before but I am sharing it with you again as my way of saying goodbye.
I have found my love and guess what, I found him here on mingle. So this site does work you just have to be honest in your communications with people. Don't be afraid of love, of course no one said it will all go easy but it is worth it. Good luck to you all. Be well, be at peace, be love and find happiness.

step into your
soul

from that which you have been
shatter all that bars the way in
float into a world
of stillness and silence
a place of peace,
void of violence
no coming, no going
no after, no before
grace seeps in
shuts the mind's door

When writing this one I was thinking of a woman with her man (her younger man)and her showing him how it's really done.
Hmmmmm, nice, wouldn't you say ladies! lol

Shut the curtains
close the door
take off your shirt
let me see more
climb into bed with me
feel my soft skin
I'll take you to a place
that you never have been
fluff up my satin pillows
run your fingers through my hair
kiss me on the lips
but please don't stop there
roll over baby, lay on your back
better be ready, I'm about to attack
close your eyes
enjoy my soft touch
can tell by your body
it's getting to be too much
roar like a lion who's had
his dessert
let me satisfy you darling
no time to flirt
raise your hands up
reach for the stars
cuz baby, we're going up there
up there that far
stop, can't stand it
need to feel release
passion so powerful
oh, never let it cease
we have hit the high note
have sung it, sung it sweet and loud
time to float down
down from the clouds
rest, relax now
let's lay in each others arms
time to savor the taste
the taste of my sweet charms

I shake my head and wonder; how in the world does he do that?
I am in awe!

I like this poem a lot.
