No, but I've had it done to me. Not sure why, but I teased some kid back in grade school and on the soccer field he came up to me and kneed me so hard in the nuts that my great-grandchildren felt it. Not sure I deserved THAT, but I'm sure I did deserve some retaliation

While we can sympathize with you to a degree, WithOrWithoutYou, we're not doing anything different from other sites on the web (Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc.). Ads are a big part of our revenue stream and keep the site going, and targeted ads will continue to be a part of the landscape. I do understand Charles and thank you for commenting. Like I said before, I don't have an issue with ads. It's just, this is the first time I've seen on this site where certain words we type become a link to an ad which I don't like, and think that form of advertising is a bit invasive. |

Interesting, my OP no longer contains ad links but my follow up posts do. The ads must be limited to two links I assume since that's what I've observed. Two is two too many

I see 'becoming a social worker' has triggered their ad networks as well. Yes, this is a free dating site I acknowledge but it shouldn't be done this way. This post is to the admins and those who make the decisions. Don't link my words to their ads, no matter how much they promise. That's total bs

Gee, it's only one ad now. The 'healthy' link is gone but the 'young life' is still there. What we write on here is our business and linking ads to our words is not appropriate IMHO. Stop, for your sake

I see it's some keyword ad thingie. I type 'healthy' and get tips for a flat stomach. I type 'young life' and I get ads for becoming a social worker. Cut that **** out or I'm gone and I'm sure a bunch of others too. I don't mind ads but there is a point of taking it too far

I see minge2 has added two links to what I wrote. I understand you need revenue from somewhere but wtf? ...really?

I was watching a movie tonight and it dawned on me that I don't have memories of seeing my parents in love. I remember furniture being thrown through the air, and swear words screaming through the night exchanged from my step father and my mother. I'm not sure I've ever been given the example of what a healthy relationship ought to be.
It's very sad and something I wish I didn't have a hand in for the next generation but I don't think he's seen a healthy relationship in his young life, and was too young to see his parents in love. I don't want this to carry on anymore |

How someone could look a five year old girl or boy in the eye then decide to shoot them in the head is an enigma which only can be answered by those who are now in the lowest parts of hell. May God not have mercy on their soul

What happened is completely f***ed up! We're talking about elementary school kids here! I don't see the motive. I mean, I could understand why a man who caught his wife cheating and in a rage killed his wife and her lover for example. In no way I condone violence much less murder, but at least I understand as a human the flood of emotions that may lead to poor choices.
This is something else altogether. I don't understand how anyone could do this. There truly are monsters amongst us apparently. |

I'm a computer tech. I fix and network computers for a living, basically a geek. I guess I should change that to make it more understandable
