I'm thinking that big girls don't cry... Well they shouldn't... This one won't... Hopefully.

I tend to be a bit blasé about life. This can be good or bad, depending on the mood I'm in, so I count this as both my best and worst characteristic.
In a good mood, it's all about seizing the day and chasing rainbows, letting tomorrow take care of itself whilst I focus on being happy today. It's open fields and soundtracks from the Sound of Music. On a bad day, it's blatant recklessness and a general I-don't-care attitude about life. Live. Die. It's all the same to me. Walking alone to places unknown at night. Getting into stranger's cars. Fighting the urge to run, and keep running. It doesn't matter where to. The belief that tomorrow will take care of itself remains; meaning I don't have to think about the consequences today. |

That I am very much a "strings-attached" type of girl... Morning introspection aided by good friends and sugar-less tea.

what's wrong with him or me?

This had happened to me twice, meet a guy online, you hit it off, chat all the time and POOF! He disappears for a couple of weeks or a month or so.
Both times they came back with very valid reasons for why they just disappeared but the connection was just never there again. Anyhoo, so basically what I'm saying is that, something could have genuinely come up. Although I can't fathom why a person can't take two seconds to send you a message saying, "Sorry, I'm not going to be around for a while"; it could be a case of, like with one of my guys that he is seriously ill or something. The downside of internet dating is that you never know what's going on in that person's life outside of the net. Hope he comes back to you! If not, I hope cupid brings you someone who will stay :) |

I'd never heard of Terry Goodkind before I came across this post and then I found two of his/her (?) books at the 2nd hand bookshop at work and decided to buy them and try them out.
Always good to try something new! |

I massage people for a living, but I don't like being massaged.
I'll eat sweet things, but never add sugar to coffee or tea or anything like that. I love going to the beach but I never go near the water. I believe in Happily Ever After but refuse to get into a relationship that would make that possible for me. |

Sometimes the picture gives you more of a clue as to the type of person as opposed to an actual photograph of them. Like, oh he's a jokester etc.
My beef is with people who ask me for my picture when they can obviously see I've got more than a couple of them on here! |

Excited!!!! First time I'm looking after the spa alone. We have a coffee shop too, so I'll be overseeing everything and training new staff.
Time to put on my big girl panties! |

How do you fight?

I don't handle face-to-face confrontation well, so I usually just keep quiet. BUT give me a pen and paper and I will tell you exactly how I feel in a letter, or a text message.
Part of it is that I'm a coward, but another part is, if I say all the things that are in my head when you're screaming in my face, we'll probably hate each other for the rest of our lives. Writing it down makes you reflect on what you're saying. |

On the balcony of his flat (apartment)... It was at night. It overlooked the back of the complex so the only people who could've seen us were the patrolling security guards and the people downstairs, if they'd decided to step outside.

Yogi Tea Philosphy!

I live my life according to tea bag philophies. I love these. Here's my latest. Does it apply to you? How? "Real happines lives in that which never comes nor goes, but simply is." For me, this is a reminder to appreciate the simple things, like the view of the sea on my way to work, sunrises and sunsets, rainbows and flowers. They are constant. As my gandfather used to say, "See that river, when I was born, it was there, and when I die it will still be there. No matter where I go, what I do, when I come back, that river is still flowing." It's the little things. |
