Has anyone heard from him this election year?
I cant remember him being so quite and inconspicuous during an election year in my whole life.
Where's he at, and why is he and Al Sharpton so quite?

Fanta...

Kindly ssshhuuuttt-uuuppppp!!! I know it is extremely superstitious to believe someone will appear just because you mentioned their name.........

.....but in this case we cannot be too careful!

Ahh...sand it up, and use Penetrol! Would look great! Mix it down with 25% turpentine, will penetrate pretty well, look good, and if you mess it up, just wipe with more Penetrol, it heals itself.

Nice find!

Got one on each vehicle.

Haven't read about reports of gas-sucking becoming more frequent, but not terribly surprising.

Of course, while in the driveway at home, the guard-mutt would seem to be more effective than the locking cap. laugh

Nope - but then, I don't worry over it either.

Got used to the fact that Chippendales would likely never be calling me for a calendar shot, and well, don't seem to miss it much in life.

Probably not.

...just because there are always those that *do not* play by the rules.

I take it you didnt see him and Bush together? smileing for the cameras? I almost heaved

Please do. Maybe it will get rid of some of that bile you carry around constantly. And for those who cannot figure out why Madison posted this - someone like the Pope does not belong in his Camelot.
That, and anything that comes near Bush of course, must automatically be evil.

Madison - here is a thought - Why don't you first try putting up real pictures of yourself, instead of various form of satire pictures. Second - realize that posts such as these do nothing to promote yourself as an "enlighten intellectual" that you seem to want to portray. It in fact makes you look base, and low.

Look around the thread here a bit. LonelyWalker, mnhiker, whom I rarely agree with, are even telling you that you are wrong. Fanta, who I agree with only about 50% of the time is saying the same thing. And here, each one of us - is saying to some extent or another that you are wrong, and perhaps spewing your venom in the improper direction.

Of course, you have your Camelot, in which you are king, and you have all the answers, right? Too bad we all cannot share the perfect world you see.

Did full throttle shifts in my RS/SS 1970 Camaro all the time, burnt rubber in all 4 gears. So yes I can, I love stick shifts.

Not something you can do with a CJ, but can use one to crawl through mud, rocks, sand, snow, water, logs, and other sundry terrain elements.

So why can there not be a simple flat tax?

0 to 10k - 0%
10 to 50 - 10%
50 to 100k - 20%
and so on.

Now, you can adjust the transitions and percentages to appropriate values, which should be reviewed periodically to ensure the burden stays distributed appropriately.

No tax forms - you just have it taken as the last part of your pay. Still allow the 'pre-tax' deductions as we now do for things like retirement contributions, health care, babysitting, whatever. State tax is handled in the same way. Social Security and such are handled the same way they are now.

Corporations are handled in the same way, with appropriate levels and transitions. Get caught just because you made "just' over a certain point? Tough, that happens now. Earn more next year.

State taxes get voted upon by the residents. No state tax for any item may be charged, unless the voters approve the amount and item. A general sales tax of 'x' percent (let's say 3%) may be enacted, but anything over that requires a vote.

Taxes such as gas - which is *supposed* to go for roads and such - are mandated now to go towards the purpose approved by voters. No magic pots of money changing around, This is what you got, this is what you use. People don't like the roads, they can vote more $ towards it. States now become accountable entities to the populace they serve - including full financial disclosures for every penny.

Wow...Sadr loyalists you say? Amazing. I wonder why he would want us out?

I am sure that if we left, he would immediately disband his militia, as it wouldn't be needed any further, correct? I mean, after all, he has only the best interests of Iraq in his heart, right? Couldn't be anything else.

I mean, the guy is a young cleric. He couldn't possibly have any delusions of grandeur in taking over Iraq, or making it into a theocracy would he?
Nawww...that couldn't be it, he is a man of God, right? You know, the God of Abraham, the most of us believe in and all that?

But I am sure that he, like some of the people here, have the idea they understand *exactly* how things work in the real world, and would love nothing more to make it into their version of Camelot.

As someone who has never used or witnessed pepper spray, i have a question....

How can it hit 10 people? I thought it was a liquid stream?

*MOSTLY* you find stuff in the stream, but it does 'overspray'from the pressure, and that stuff 'bounces' everywhere. Some of the dispenser are better at keeping a stream, others don't care. The 'overspray' problem is why some manufactures use a foam delivery. Spray in the eyes and forehead, and body heat alone will 'melt' it down your face.

Mace - got used to it at one time, and basically, it irritated me.
CS (military riot control) same thing, just more irritating.
Drug store pepper spray - was really really annoying, and I didn't enjoy it.

Foam and high concentration sprays (10% and greater) Oh my FRIGGIN god...I couldn't get my face in water fast enough. Geezzuss..that stuff was obnoxiously effective.

So - if you feel you MUST use pepper spray - do yourself a favor - get foamy stuff. If you use it and get it blown back at you - you are NOT going very far.

Definitely file the charges. That sort of thing could likely kill someone with a breathing problem!

typical woman....

...always wants the last word....
why is it the when people try to debate things the insults inevitably come out? spell check, etc. You people and your personal attacks is all you can throw out there. The simple fact is all the supreme court cases incolving the 2a from the foundng date to 1939 favored it as an individuals right to bear arms. Yes, the consitution can be amended, but it will not be for the 2a, guaranteed. Watch the supreme courts decision on the dc gun ban if you want more proof. The justices have already sided on individuals right, and this is 2008. Nice arguments, but precedent, and the law is in our favor. Your arguments are nothing less than thinly veiled contempt, insinuations, your opinion, generalizations, and outright name calling. The petty insults levelled by those who disagree with the postion doesn't change reality. Deal with it
indifferent

And what you probably don't realize is Lilith and I were joking around via emails. She is fully aware that I was yanking her chain.

well if someone falsely accuses another of a crime then they should receive the penalty that the one they falsely accuse has the possibility of getting

No battering from here - actually a decent idea. As long as it can be proven somehow that you intentionally lied or 'manufactured' the crime to get someone else in trouble.

I agree FANTA you can lay the fact right in front of them and they complain about it being a cut and paste or a copy right violation

Still pissy about that, huh, Madison.

Yeah...LaRouche is a geezer now - but still has young teens out at Dupont Circle in DC on routine basis trying to hawk him on the ticket.

Too funny. Guess on one hand having the kids politically active is a good thing.

Bought a used car for someone who needed it, have ran errands for several elderly people, made several baskets..one had alot of ramen noodles, cheap mac and cheese boxes,lg bag of brown beans, cheese and bread...the other had soap, deoderant, toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap....and left them on a needy family's porch so they wouldn't know who gave it to them.

Knight - isn't cool when you can 'get away' with that sort of thing?
quite a few around here I will do stuff like that for. 'ell, I don't want anything back - ESPECIALLY any form of publicity for it.

charitable thing you've done in the last year?

I donated to the Red Cross and gave lots of sperm away free.

Peccy - giving away your sperm while leaving money on the nightstand does NOT count for charity on either act. sheezzzz.

Eh,
Your wrong, Im right, they are not a manuvering force with the need for secrecy. They are an occupying force, of which the locals probably know as much about their routine as they do.
Definately more than the average American.

As far as Army being Army,
Spoken like a non-grunt.
Its a world of difference, and unless youve been there you'll never understand.

The entire active duty military population is around 1.4 million uniformed military personnel meaning that less than 5% are actually infantrymen.

The Army is two worlds in one.

Your opinions, and you are welcomed to them.
