Looking every bit like darth sideouse of star wars fame the pope comes to Uber Amerika and this is what he didnt say" People of america, my sheeplike masses your hard earned tax dollars are being wasted spilling the blood of innocents in Iraq why do you not hold your leaders accountable for not practising the word of jesus? Peace and love! they claim to be men of god there deeds are that of the devil. I urge you all to pray for an end to the needles human suffering in iraq and let our planets dwindling resourses be used to eleviate human suffering not create it..........AMEN

Maybe he realizes that we have a separation of Church and State??? yes but they meddle in other maters of church and state, amen, but none that realy matter like say for example.....A million dead Iraqi civilians, but hey ya gota have those ten commandments in the court house

though i'm absolutely against the nonsense which is hapenning in Iraq. I find very derogatory this thread against the pope, and everything he represents. I agree that he has nothing to do with the imbecile president of this country and the decisions he makes, but there is no reason to bash the pope.

He might speak for the Catholics in the world, but he has limited influence on anyone else. Just like the Dalai Lama. It's like complaining that the Dalai Lama hasn't made any statement, as if the Dalai Lama could get them to do anything if he did. It's a ridiculous argument.

The pope is the chief huckster of a religion suited for peasants I am absolutly shamed that in this day and age we still have to bend at the knee and kiss a ring. might I ask what religon you are a member of ? I am ashamed that liberals think ppl practice religon because the government does not do enough for them. And that is why Americans have guns also....as per your hero Osama bin Obama. the catholic church is longest lived, bloodiest, dictatorship the world has ever seen. In the last two thousands years the church has committed atrocities too numerous to mention, but they have done all of this in the name of god Madman, Why don't you attack Buddhism and the Dalai Lama? After all, the Dalai Lama hasn't spoken out against the Bush Administration lately? That must mean he agrees with them and is complicit in their acts!! Do you think the Catholic Church is the only religious organization in history that has committed atrocities in the name of God (past history)? What about terrorists who blow up buildings and kill people 'in the name of Allah' like those who follow Al Quaida and the Taliban? Where is your venom for them?
