I donate money from time to time to different charities none of which I recall because knowing what it's for doesn't matter as long as it helps someone.

I volunteered at a hospital as a nursing assistant

I volunteer at a pregnancy crisis center, Humane Society, and the SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) program, as well as volunteer for my daughter's school, and am Soccer Team's "Mom" for scheduling purposes.....

I volunteer everyday working downtown Kansas City Missouri working with the homeless, helping them, handing out blankets, feeding them. I do it everyday for about 6 hours. All none profit. Been doing it for about 8 months now.

hmmm..charitable in the past yr..
well..I had no money to give.. I pass out giving blood..so I gave up for now.. I have no eggs left to donate ... hmmmm...I gave my son to the United States of America... Us Marine Corps...with Honor...without a fight...on my face... I think thats pretty charitable... Yep...Semper FI

I have bought meals & gas for a few people in need, & donated to the local animal shelter & food bank. I havn't done much this past year I guess.
I have a feeling that the opportunities will become more frequent with the way the economy is going.
