Seriously - Dems have a relatively easy win, if they cared to take it.

Obama and Clinton as running mates. (you pick which for Pres, and the other for VP, I don't think that would matter a great deal)

Perhaps my twisted way of looking at it, if they stay out of 'mud-slinging', make some show of endorsing the other as a good candidate that will work for the people, as will I. THEN... join together.

I think they could bring enough vote blocs together to easily win a Presidential election.

If they fight it out to the end...I think it hurts mainly hurts the Democratic party the most.

I might do that...but those dang Sharpies smell awful for the first 5 mins. And they make me rash up.

Only way it gets better - if you can down a pot of coffee, a couple cinnamon rolls and gross out all your coworkers inside of 5 mins of arriving at work.

SCORE !!

I read the article you posted and noted the reference to Apple. Having just purchased my first Mac (my PC friends told me--the not so literate computer guy that the learning curve would make my Mac so entirely frustrating that I would soon come back to PC. Yeah, plug in, turn on, have fun really was tough) I can understand the frustration a lot of people are having with Vista. It has been a mess. And that is not bias. That is working for a company whose own IT manager stated when asked if the company would be converting to Vista anytime soon, "Are you F'n crazy--I would like to keep my job."

Five years in R&D and it's an OS most won't run and some cannot run.

No words indeed.

I know I will likely irritate some of the <insert O/S here> freaks with this one:

the best O/S? The one that works the best for the *individuals* purpose.

I use Red Hat at home. I have Vista on the new work machine, and XP on my personal travel laptop. Now, don't know if I will be keeping Vista on the work machine - but the others do exactly what I need, when I need.

Now, if Mac does it for you, and you get along well with it - then sounds like the right choice.

Yes...I do.

well, guess I should amend that. I know the first names *as given to me* Nothing to say that was a real name! But then....in my 20s - I really didn't care much if they lied at that point! laugh

On one side, you have a b*tch who is a lawyer, married to a lawyer, and on the other, a lawyer who is married to a b*tch who is a lawyer.

On the other side, you have a true war hero married to a woman with a huge chest who owns a beer distributorship.

Is there a contest here?"

Okay....I don't care which party you like...THAT was funny!!

I agree with that, I know she is not the one, I just feel like I've wasted so much time caring about how she feels

Did you learn anything? Probably.
Did you enjoy the time? Sounds like it.
Can you walk away a better person? If the first two are true, most likely - Yes.

Funny - doesn't seem like a waste of time now, huh ? drinker

great way to put itflowerforyou

Well, it's either that, or call my friend's cousin Vinnie "Heavy Loafers" to make fish-bait outta the slime-ball-weasily-good-fer-nothin'-gutter-wench.

But the first sounded nicer.

Ahhh... The Duke as President - gotta love that one!

Walking up to Iran's Alphabet Soup (there is no way I can spell that one - sorry)

"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them"

Followed by "Fill your hands, you son......."

Considering that I know the work a diary farmer has to go through for that gallon of Grade A milk - I just pay up and consider it a bargain!

The higher this goes...the more I start thinking about converting a vehicle over to alcohol engine. Just to do the running in short distances - save the 'normal' vehicles for the long-haul trips.

And yes, I know how to distill my own fuel!

I'm dim, so when flirting is going on...I'm the last one to know.

Usually the same for me. Unless the woman hits me with a 2x4 and tells me she is flirting with me. Might get the idea about then.

That would be so cool. I would have to bring the mutt along with me though. He looks like a coal black wolf - that should make an interesting sight !!

Things around here go from 250k to 400k for reasonable decent houses, with any sort of land to them. I am not going to stay in the area for more than 2 years now - so not going to buy one now.
The market in this area is just now readjusting itself back to somewhat normalcy from WAY over inflated.

This is NOT the area for a young couple just starting out! Not many local jobs that pay well, tons of jobs that pay great, but you have to pay the 'commuter toll' to get to them.

It is sorta fun, but they are lazy suckers. You will have to rotate your frames on occasions, as they will only fill the bottoms, then go to next frame if they can.

They can be out most anywhere, but I found they were a bit more productive if they had morning sun and afternoon shade. Feed them some sugar water at first, as there will be few workers to start out with. Seems to help 'jump-start' the hive - then they start going after the pollen.

Medication - there are various routines, but quite a few involve putting a pad with the meds in the hive and keeping them there for a bit. They will ingest the meds then.

And the question about 'keeping them from escaping' - you don't have to worry, as long as you give them a decent hive with room.
You can even put several hives next to each other, and each will develop separate colonies - and they only go to the 'home' hive.

Has anyone heard from him this election year?
I cant remember him being so quite and inconspicuous during an election year in my whole life.
Where's he at, and why is he and Al Sharpton so quite?

Fanta...

Kindly ssshhuuuttt-uuuppppp!!! I know it is extremely superstitious to believe someone will appear just because you mentioned their name.........

.....but in this case we cannot be too careful!
laugh

is he like beetlejuice???? laugh

No. Beetlejuice at least served a purpose in life, and was entertaining.

Watched it once - figured this was a bit too corny, and like mentioned - a bit too Springerish.

About all I watch routinely happens on History channel.
