OMG Brandy, that is too funny!! i do that sometimes, just being a
single mommy of three little boys...lol

looks arent everything, but i have to be attracted to him...i'll tell ya
what, this next time around, i want just about everything..i'm not
settling for less. sounds bitchy, i suppose..but i think i deserve a
good looking, honest, intelligent, good humored, hard workin man..i will
know off the bat if we click..and i can spot red flags miles away..ok
got off the subject there..lol

even if you dont have the looks, man, at least take care of your
appearance..some simple hygiene..brush your hair, brush your
teeth..shave..trim the nose hairs...dont dress sloppy, especially if
you're overweight..get some clothes that fit right..

some of the men on here are about my age, and im sorry guys, but you
look about 10 or 20 years older..dont be an old fuddy duddy..

if youre that worried about appearance..find out what the fashions are
and get a new look..

i am currently taking two online courses..i love it..gotta have the
motivation to do the work on your own though! i'm taking a paralegal
course and a computer course..

i homeschooled my oldest son for kindergarten and first grade..we loved
it! my exhusband and i chose to homeschool because we werent real
mainstream, we didnt do all the vaccinations, etc. and one of the big
reasons was because we were in a lousy school district..

there is plenty of opportunity for socialization..homeschooling is so
incredibly popular, now, that there are homeschooling groups and
co-ops..even the local Y has homeschooling art classes, music, phys ed,
etc..homeschooling's a wonderful alternative choice and i was glad to
have the FREEDOM to be able to do so..(another thing govt trying to put
restrictions on)

being a single mom, now, i have chosen for my oldest two go to public
school...i was leary at first, but we are in an awesome school
district..the teachers are wonderful and my children are excelling..

once in awhile my oldest will say, mom, remember when you used to
homeschool me? and we will reminisce! homeschooling was xtra bonding
time with my children...

so, yes, i think homeschooling can be a positive thing!

hey girl! you are so young! get out there and have fun, enjoy life!
enjoy being alone...you can do what you want, when you want, you set
your own rules..these guys are right..love will find you..stop looking
so hard, angel..and remember dont just hook up with anyone cuz youre

well, guess i could use some online etiquette then, cuz i get several
emails a day and i dont always reply..i am busy and if i dont have an
interest i dont email back..that simple..especially if theres no pic or
avatar and spelling is at a grade school level..

now, that being said if someone nicely compliments me and/or my baby i
will send a quick thank you :) to them, no matter what..

but, YOU ARE SEXY email me and i'll chat with ya..no, i dont answer
those..

i dont think its the dating sites on those types of letters, j. they
wouldnt include an alternate email addy because the dating sites want
you to stay on their site..

hey jim! u know, when i was married, my hubby would come home from being
at work all day, go upstairs and get on the computer..i knew that he
needed to unwind, and thats the way he chose to do so, but it just got
to be too much..i missed him!!!..he was home, but he wasnt home..ya know
what i mean? i remember getting so frustrated at times walkin upstairs
and seeing his big ol' head staring at the computer screen, hour after
hour..lol

maybe have a shorter time limit on the computer..or pick one day or
night to not be on it at all..find something to do that you both enjoy..

the sad thing about the net is that people, in general, imo, are not
nurturing their irl relationships..people are putting more time into
online friendships..of course theres positives to that, but the sad
thing is, is that online friends come and go..online friends just seem
to drop off the face of the earth...your irl relationships; those are
the ones that matter the most jimi..your wife is who matters the most..i
know u love her..so get your butt off the computer for a little bit and
go show her!
