While watching these political hot August nights, I decided to research the reasons so many are opposed to Obamacare to separate the facts from the fantasy. What I discovered is that there are indeed dirty little secrets buried deep within the 1,000-plus page health care bill.
You bet there is..Transparency? I don't see it. Our system is currently the best in the world. Also the most expensive. So lets scrap it and start over? I don't think that is a good idea. Improve what we have now.jmo |

Obama is doing what he said he would do, he is trying to get a national healthcare on the table for Americans. I do not see anything wrong with that. Obama did not write the current health care bill being voted on so we cannot even blame him for the damn thing. Healthcare is needed in this country. I cannot support the current bill though, it is not right, I am hoping they will hash out the specifics and come to a conclusion that leaves out the unnecessary things on this bill. He did not write it or voted on it? He sure the heck is endorsing it. Pushing for it. staking his political career on it...jmo |

I try to think of myself not as an optimist or a pessimist but a realist. I realize that if I do not find someone particularly attractive, then the relationship will not proceed anywhere romantically. It's just a matter of personal preference, really. Obviously, if somebody who is not "my type" messages me seeking just that, how do I let them off easily, without seeming shallow? Do you believe that such a preference makes me shallow? Being true to yourself is not a crime. Being shallow? Or being a realist. |

I just don't believe Greed and Lies will not be part of "National Health Care". In fact it will be full of loopholes that will take decades to close. Can we not fix our current Health Care System, which is the best, and most expensive, in the world? Or do we scrap it and start over? |

Many people are supporting The Health Care Plan...Yet they have not read the bill or even experienced it in real life. It is a BIG issue and deserves some civil debate and dissection.

I visited the link Raider, it is about healthcare.
So people are supposed to believe a new health care will be better than the old health care..That seems to be the issue. I'm not sure replacing our current system with a Government run system will be a great idea. Big price tag for everyone.jmo |

Some of us are defending a Health Care bill many of us, including I, have not read. So how do we discredit any one's opinion on a new health system (run by our great government) that we have not experienced yet? Just asking.
