Is It Unreasonable?

Is it unreasonable if you are in a monogamous relationship and practically living together, to expect your partner to quit using dating sites even if they claim all they are looking for is friendship but you feel otherwise? To me the issue isn't the dating site at all. "...they claim all they are looking for is friendship but you feel otherwise?" This sounds like a trust issue to me. Address the trust issue first. The dating site thing will resolve itself. |

Who the hell are the Priests of the Temple of Syrinx, and why should I care? And do their great computers (I'm assuming they're actually servers) run on Windows or Linux?

It will always be a hoagie to me. Anything else is hardly even a sandwich.
And we always go down to the shore. Whether it's Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland. Any one would be considered an exotic vacation. Jersey is a whole 'nother country anyway. How about this: A can of Pepsi. Can I please go to the bathroom. The pronunciation of can depends on its use. In the second case, I say 'Ken'. Actually (Ackshly), I wouldn't be caught dead saying that, 'may I' was beaten into me from an early age. Linguistics is awesome. And yeah, Pennsylvania does have it's share of differences even within our own borders. |

My natural speech comes from Philly, but I mix in a bit of Pennsylvania Dutch. If I'm on a country music kick, I shift below the mason dixon line. |

So, what are those 5 acts? I can guess a few, but I might be leaving one or two out. 20 years of research? What constitutes research? What could you learn in 19 years that you couldn't have discovered in the first year?
Whether you believe him or not, the man has a right to say what he wants. I personally think the man is a little off-base. Not that watching porn is a good reason to call in sick from work. Anyway, If I watch 'Speed', how likely is it that I will get the urge to plant a bomb on a city bus? |

I haven't had a license since 2002. I actually pulled my gear out of storage last weekend. Looks like I'm getting the itch . I'm going fishing soon, too.

The goal

My views may be skewed on this though, because I only date people I feel there could be a long term potential anyhow, and don't date more than one person at a time ever. Thank you so much for mentioning that! Everyone thinks I'm crazy for thinking the same thing. I feel slightly less nutty knowing that there's someone else who shares the same belief. |

I think the establishment of a committed relationship is the ultimate goal. Committment being a 'forever' sort of thing, how much more can there be? Creation of a family? perhaps. Marriage? That's a contract with God. Okay for some, perhaps not for others (hope I'm not stirring the pot with that one).
communication is good too. free and open. You don't have to understand everything, but ya gotta try. The attempt goes a long way. |

commitment is forever. I don't take it lightly and would never say it unless I was prepared to mean it 5, 10, 50 years down the road (kinda explains why I have refrained from its use). And it's the greatest thing in the world; my ultimate goal. I hope I may reach it someday. If you truely love someone, commitment is easy. Extrapolation of that thought begins to explain why I'm so screwed up. My issues and peculiarities define me. lol
Then again, commitment can be applied to more than just love for another. Commitment to a person or a thought, is there really a difference? How can you be committed to a nother person if you can't be committed to yourself? I can be/am commited, for better or worse, to my beliefs, values, and morals. I have my opinions, it's caused me some pain, but I have to stand for what I believe is right. Life is hard. lol As always, this is IMHO and YMMV... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG1pgmsQDNI |

Had to Google Earth that one. It's on the Delmarva, 'bout 40 miles from the PA state line. You'll have to venture over to Dover to find civilization.
...Good luck |

I won't lie, looks do count for something. For me however, looks are far from the most important. Every guy has a different idea of beauty. It's just as they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder." For me, a person's beauty comes out in how they feel about themself. Happily homely is quite alright with me. Happiness shines through in many ways. Hell, I have no business asking for better than I ask of myself. I just accept my appearance and put on a happy face. An honest smile is the easiest best way to improve one's appearance (imho and ymmv). You don't have anything to worry about |
