When I became a single dad I had no male friends that were single dads,also I had no time to seek groups or advice. Between work, food shopping, laundry, cooking, homework, soccer, baseball and on and on, where do you find time for that? LOL

I would say just follow your instincts, it can be a brutal undertaking and you live almost in a state of perpetual exhaustion but you adapt and get use to it.

Second, Most families in the Philippines are very traditional compared to our culture.
Lastly, I'd say that her parents might just be concerned that their daughter might get hurt by having high expectations of you marring her.

In the Philippines many women try to marry Americans or Aussies because it is the only way to leave their country for a better life and there are thousands who start these online relations that never end in the man coming to their country and marrying the woman.

On top of all this, if you had daughter, would you want her to leave your country and possibly never or hardly ever seeing her again?

I don't see anything wrong or any conspiracy in investing in privately run prisons. Investors like to get into new ideas whether that is in technology and even prisons for hopefully financial gain. It costs taxpayers on average about $40,000 per inmate per year. In NY that cost is about $60,000.
Since city and state governments have little to no money for new prisons there is a serious overcrowding issue.
Privately run prisons built by investors save taxpayers money and help the incarcerated by having less overcrowding etc.

As for the Rap issue, I love all kinds of music from classical, Motown, Blues, Rock and Rap(have been to concerts featuring rap artists)but over the last few years seems to me it has been a race to the bottom as far as the lyrics go...but not sure there is any conspiracy to entice the young into crime, rather the artists desire to gain notoriety and fame.

Aside from some serious issues with the way the OP approaches all this, I'd say don't try to impress him, just be yourself. Most important to start a relationship with him is to listen when he speaks, maybe if you are going to dinner, ask him where he would like to go. Even if it is McDonald's go there, it will show him he is apart of the equation and not feel left out.

Why would you seek a LDR? It is hard enough in this day and age to keep a healthy relationship with someone you can at least see on a semi-regular basis. Long distance relationships rarely work out...specially if they cross country lines with visa issues etc.

I would stay away from Dell...had a nightmare of an experience with their customer support when I purchased a laptop from them. After about 4 months of back n forth trying to send me computers of lesser value then the one I originally purchased I gave up and bought an HP and been very happy with it.

There should be a statute of limitations like in a criminal case.
Maybe you have 3 years to make your allegations or keep it to yourself.If you come out more then 3 years later, you are automatically charged with liable and given a large fine and or imprisonment. Of course rape, specially of a minor (who may not be able to come forward due to a lot of reasons) would not be held to such a statute.
