LMAO...surprised at how long this post has been active!

If you have never heard of Diamond and Silk, they are two black women who have over 1.3 million FB followers, a YouTube channel and of course their own website. They have a unique way of delivering political commentary, almost like a slap-stick comedy routine but with some serious subject content.
Although I am not an avid follower of them( I really don't
follow anyone), I have seen them several times and find them entertaining and with a unique view on political events. I have never seen or heard of them espousing violence or threats against anyone.

So why has Facebook censored these two black women for "being unsafe to the community" ?

With all the disturbing violent content and people espousing different hate views on a wide range of subjects, why would FB single out these two black women?

Could it be they are anti-Obama and very pro Trump? Could it be that they are unsafe or dangerous because as their following grows larger by the day, and could show women and people of color its ok to break the mold of always supporting DEMS and why the president is doing a good job for minorities?

Facebook has released a statement that "they are reaching out to the owners of the D&S page to resolve this issue" but Diamond and Silk who are the creators have not heard anything from FB.

Facebook certainly has enough problems with their selling of private data which Mark Zuckerberg is now having to testify before congress about,and now censoring Black political commentary adds more fuel to the fire.

I wonder if FB would have censored these two if they were rabid Trump haters?
I think we all know the answer to that question

In the end, people make choices, some are good some are bad.
Some are lucky to pick a mate that they stay with 30 or 40 years and beyond. Some make a lot of poor choices that last less then a year etc..
These choices also include those that may come or agree and those that don't come and disagree.
I would conclude by saying that what will be, will be and and all the worrying or concern about how someone feels about a situation is wasted time. The only thing that is important is how YOU feel about anything.

Some situations are complicated such as this. Maybe the best thing to do is talk to this person BEFORE wedding invitations go out. Ask if they feel uncomfortable going to the wedding or just straight tell them you value their friendship but if they don't support your decisions then it will be the end of your friendship.Whether it is a relative or friend they should be happy that someone(regardless of their opinion of that person) makes YOU happy.
Of course in the extreme that this person has some history of violence, adulterer or something in past that can harm you.

There are many reasons someone may not attend a wedding, work, distance, financial etc..
You may also ASSUME you know someone may not "approve" of this relationship but may be wrong.
I agree that you should invite everyone in your family, friends that you want there. If they don't come it is on you how you interpret that outcome. Holding grudges does no one any good...in time that person may see the happiness the person brings to you or you may see that the person was right all along. Either way prejudging anything, specially a persons intentions can be harmful.

Does he have his own room? At 8 he should have been sleeping in his own bed for years. Hopefully he has a real bed and not a cot by now or that could be the main reason...who wants to sleep in a cot every night?

I have been divorced @ 15 years and although my ex has done some pretty bad things to me(she has been diagnosed with mental issues)I don't hold grudges. I certainty don't voluntarily go there to help out unless I'm asked. As an example if her car breaks down and needs a lift, I'll help her out but these instances are rare and far between.

Sounds more like you just need to give yourself more time to know each other better before jumping into anything serious. If your partner is "pushing" too hard for this "intimacy" then maybe there is something to "fear".

Does this Stormy woman have any evidence she actually had sex with Trump like Monica's dress? It is a she said , he said deal. Also this supposed encounter happened before he was president unlike JFK and LBJ(one of the most prolific womanizers as president) but kept hush hush by press.
I agree with MS that this is between the parties involved, Trump , Melania and Stormy and the press and others should stay out it. But of course the mainstream media will do anything possible to denigrate this president no matter how long ago the "infraction" took place.

While the press protects others for years like JFK, LBJ and Harvey Weinstein and of course few know of Joe Biden's preference for swimming naked in front of his female security staff.
They go After Trump for totally false things like collusion with Russia which still after 14 months of investigations by numerous committees and of course a special council have still found zero evidence of such involvement.

Well first the person asking this question has to be real and not a scammer LOL

First, of course there is not much evidence that a gun owner has stopped a mass shooting(there is a ton evidence they have stopped robberies and home invasions) because in the last 50 years the only mass shooting NOT in a gun free zone was the recent Vegas shooting. However in a recent church shooting, the perp was chased and taken down by a man with a gun, an AR-15 by the way.

Second, if you read the diaries and statements of the mass killers over the last fifty years they do specify choosing soft targets like schools, churches and night clubs. Even the Fort Hood shooter knew that although he was surrounded by military personnel, they could not carry in the area he was in.These killers my be psychotic but are not stupid.

Lastly, in 2016 there were 14,000 murders. Less then half of those were by guns. Only 375 were by rifles and a fraction of the 375 were by the AR-15. Most murders were by knife and blunt trauma.


France which is a fraction of the size and population of the U.S. and has assault weapons ban and the strictest gun laws in the world had more murders by assault rifles then the U.S. in 2016 because the citizens are helpless and the bad guys know it!

Liberals who fantasize about a gun free society need to wake up. Criminals don't care about rape laws, robbery laws or gun laws or any laws period.

I'm all for TRYING to limit the mentally ill from owning guns but there will always be those who beat the system or fall through the cracks.

Time to face reality and harden the soft targets.
