The only thing to stop a criminal or a psycho with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Time to arm teachers with training and guns and get rid of the "gun free" zones which are the targets of most of these killers.

The Hubble Deep Field(HDF) which looked at a tiny area with no visible light near the constellation Ursa Major found @ 3000 unknown galaxies.

Later the Hubble Ultra Deep Field(HUDF)pointed toward a very small region near the constellation Formax and found over 10,000 new galaxies. This region represents only about one thirteen-millionth of the total area of the sky.

The Hubble eXtreme Deep Field (HXDF)then took a portion of the area from the HUDF field.The HXDF contains approximately 5,500 galaxies, the oldest of which are seen as they were 13.2 billion years ago. The faintest galaxies are one ten-billionth the brightness of what the human eye can see.

My point is that all but three lights we see by the naked eye are in the Milky Way Galaxy. These Deep Field observations that only make up a few millionths of the night sky suggests that wherever you look in the universe you will millions of new galaxies.

For scientists to say there are "hidden" galaxies behind the Milky Way is like saying there might be water in the ocean.

I think your daughter has a good idea, but I would have her research this because in fact this already is in practice to a certain degree.
There are Maximum security prisons where violent and repeat offenders are sent and minimum security prisons for non-violent and first time offenders are sent.
Within these prisons, there is further separations where the real violent or trouble making prisoners are segregated from the general population.
Of course these guidelines and how they are implemented are hindered by over crowding and unfortunately non-violent do get mixed with the violent and repeat offenders.

Seems to me that a lot of these woman want their 15 minutes of fame or jump on the band wagon for monetary gain.
You don't see a lot of women come out 15 years later accusing Joe the plumber of sexual harassment...it is always someone wealthy or political.

I am not saying that all these women are lying but there should be some sort of statute of limitations like in criminal cases.

If you don't report it soon after it occurs...say within 3 years then you should not be able to bring accusations and ruin someones career. This of course would not pertain to children who for many reasons might not be able to report such transgressions.
