Holy moly...noway .watching this debate is only helping me to realize all more how the indignant, self-rightious mind set of the far right is just completely out of control in this country...
I'm glad that my votes (hopefully) count as much as theirs... Also that my dad passed on a very helpful tidbit of dirt road, backwoods knowledge to me when I was just a kid..."Son...never wrestle with a pig...because you both get dirty but the pig's the only one who ever has any fun"
I'm praying ( yes...I'm a God fearing individual too) that enough Americans are becoming aware of the real agenda of the top 3% who are pulling the strings for the rest of us and and forcing their corporate fascist ideals down our throats, at our expense...in the name of their supposedly superior values...
good grief...

you attack my christian values based on what ? the fact that I would rather focus on helping prevent unwanted babies then pass a law .. i find that judgemental and that is why the christian religion gets a bad wrap .. My values are where they need to be I just would rather fix the problems with love and compassion .. if woman did feel they had no other choice then they would not seek abortions .. mmm education versus dictation what a concept

Social Security has always been used as a slush fund by the government. Typical scenario, the government spends what they think they will draw in, they don't draw it in, we end up with a deficit. They increase taxes, spend what they think they will draw in from the increase, and we end up with another deficit. Endless cycle.

madisonman..... I copied/pasted part of your post below,

"Please except the fact that Bush has lied 935 times."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The word "except" means to leave out, exclude. So, I take it that you are changing your stance and saying "leave out, exclude" your statement that Bush has lied 935 times since he hasn't. I am glad you are beginning to see the light madisonman.

I realy have no idea what type of Bizzaro world some of these folks live in. I have no idea why the church lady thinks I dont want to work, my only point was that I dont have a great eduaction and my typing is self taught somehow that turned into I want a socialist government? well I am comforted that 70% of america feels as I do despite the vocal minority who cling to an antique idea of religion and that the government can do no wrong.....I am in the solid majority and am stunned by some of these responces. well thats all for now after my great day at work were I am so proud to contribute to society I am off for now tending to the needs of my family, first I am takeing my daughter for an abortion, then my son and I are going to throw rocks at some passing trainslaugh

Madisonman...... your problem is you started a thread full of lies and you are now encountering a lady that is more than your match. Good for you Lindyy ...... this is a wonderful thread.
Im thinkling dementia and self delusion

madisonman..... I wouldn't say you have dementia and self-delusion. It is more of a case of your making up facts, and trying to spin things to fit your agenda.

Shoes,

You continue to refuse to address partial birth abortion. WHY????

Sorry dear, but God says sex before marriage is a sin, the young women need to be taught what GOD says, not what YOU think. Those are HIS words my dear, not mine. Take your beef up with God.

Abortion is murder, like it or not, and God forbids murder. And you refuse to acknowledge God's Word.

Shoes, go tell God He has it all wrong, Shoes, go ahead, tell HIM!

God does expect us to obey His commandments. EXCUSE ME - tell everyone reading this post the name of the book, chapter and verse in the Bible where you found "and it even makes arrangements for those that did in biblical times." Now you quoted it, tell me where that scriptue is!!! Back yourself up with factual proof!

Since when is Charles Stanley, Bill Wilson, Joni Eareckson Tada shock jocks????????????? And, since when is Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh shock jocks??????????? They are conservative talk show hosts. Good Lord, do you even make an attempt to find out the truth before you make a post? You are making such a fool out of yourself.

Oh, my dear Shoes, Jesus Christ certainly IS going to Judge us! WE are ALL going to face His judgment. Are you sure you read the Christian Bible?? Which version, i.e. King James, New American Standard, etc.

No way am I hurting my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am simply following his teachings which is obiedence to Him. He says the greatest way to show Him your love for Him is to be obedient unto Him. Again, take your beef up with Him, not me. You are the one who has chosen not to follow/obey His teachings and commandments.

Oh, by the way, you do remember the story about Sodom and Gomorrah, don't you? They were cities that were totally destroyed by God for their sexual immorality! Hello Shoes!!!!!

Oh, madisonman viewed my profile also. I hope he found it to be intellectually challenging.

lol you are cracking me up .. In my state partial birth abortions have never been legal .. a woman can not get an abortion past her first trisemester .. I am not condoning premarital sex at all but I am not going to act holier than thou and kick a woman or young girl when she is down .. I prefer to use the love method not the fire and brimstone.. there was a new testament or did you skip all that cause rush was on .. rush and hanady are shock jocks they are paid to stir up the sheep .. rush was taking illegal oxycotin or is that okay that he is using drugs ? I thought because of his celebrity status it was prehaps to sleep even though heroine seems a bit extreme compared to say warm milk. so how many children have you adopted?? until I adopt a child I am not going to condemn anyone but I will listen to them educate them and love on them ,, hoping that will make them make better choices.. Young people here woman like you and that steers them away from the very thing that they should be running too .. lady your heart I am sure is in the right place but your tatics are how did that man put it Volitile and that is not what I condsider a compliment.. Peace and love go with you .. May your life be has perfect has you think you are ..

hmm forgive me if I am mistaken but I thought the point behind Jesus' death was so that ALL of our sins would be forgiven.

I also thought that God wanted us to have free will to be able to live our lives as we see fit.

It's stuff like this, that has made me go away from religion. It seems to me as though religion is only used to serve as a thing to be thrown in people's faces if they do something that people don't like. Just my opinion!

also curoius as to how God became part of a topic about George Bush jr.

Foliel:

You are correct, Jesus did die for all of our sins, but there is an exception - you must accept him as your Lord and Savior. John 3:16 (New Testament) "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son so that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have life eternal."

God gave us all a free will, He will never force Himself on us. He allows us to chose to believe in Him or not to.

True Christians do not use their faith to throw it in peoples faces; on the contrary, Christianity is constantly being bashed by those who do not want to have any part of God.
It is what is called spiritual warfare. There is a constant battle between Christians who have the Holy Spirit abiding in their life and those who have their secular spirit and reject Jesus, and when the two paths cross, a battle begins.

If you note, there are 3 people who have come straight out and denied that there is a God or state that they do not belive in God. Which is their right. But, what I am saying is, I have been under constant warfare by these people, they simply hate me because I am an outspoken Christian, which is fine by me. Just proves they recognize the fact that I am, indeed, a Christian.

The same theory applies to President Bush. He is very upfront about his faith in God and Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. If you look at the people who despise him you will find the are not Christians.

Did you know that when he was alive, Pope John Paul II was one of 2 men who were hated for the very same reason? President Bush is the other person. They are/were hated because of their outspoken belief in God.

God became a part of this topic that madisonman started about the alleged 935 lies of President Bush. When he saw that there were Christians defending President Bush, Christianity started getting bashed in this topic. madisonman came straight out and said that there is no God. Thus, that is how God got into this topic.

I do agree that christianity should not be bashed, especially not by people that do not believe in God. I myself, have religion issues, but I do not bash other beliefs or faiths.
I would rather not get into why i have religion issues but I am in agreement that no one has the right to bash someones religion, it is not right, and is against the constitution.

I hope you don't think badly of me as i do try to see both sides of any discussion or arguement, as some of these turn into just that. I like to be able to make a fair judgement.

Lady, if you believe you are getting the truth from Sean Hannity or the FOX Noise Channel in general, you have most definitely consumed the kool-aid.

Why is it that anyone who has an opinion that differs from the Socialist/Communist wiew, is led by FOX News and Sean Hannity or whomever? Attacks like that only reinforce other people's opinion of the left as being "angry Liberals". Are we to assume that your views come from Al Franken and CNN? I think not.

Zapchaser..... Considering the posts, I believe that the liberals on this site are getting their views from Al Franken. Incidentally, I am quite serious about this because what is being said by these left-wingers is so far out.

Leah,

Have you ever listened to Al Franken? Did you know he was a Harvard grad? There are blowhards and fools on both sides, but Al Franken is not one of them. In fact, I find him to be one of the most well versed and well reasoned pundits(he's a candidate now) on either side. So don't trash him just on his past as a comedian. Ronald Reagan was an actor, remember?
