It is your right to think things through and question religion. That is the only way to come up with a decision, and whatever decision you make has been made through thoughtful reasoning. For that you deserve credit and respect.

Thank you Lindyy, I try to be respectful in my posts as being disrespectful or turning the forum into an arguement isn't going to get anyone, anywhere. It just becomes an I'm right, you're wrong discussion, which are generally pointless.

I have read enough of your posts to realize that we are from different planets. As for "trashing" Al Franken, Leah clearly implied that information obtained from Mr. Franken was "far out" merely because its source was Mr. Franken. I would consider this trashing. You may call it something else.

After years of being a legal secretary, and the attorneys that I have worked for having taken me to court trials with them so that I could observe the jury and see how they are reacting to the various witnesses and attorneys representing plaintiff(s) and defendant(s) I have acquired a skill of being able to tell which way the jury seems to be leaning. I have also acquired the skill through depositions and interrogatories of individuals involved in a lawsuit, of being able to tell who is not telling the truth, holding back the complete facts, and who is merely putting on an act for distraction of the truth and trying to get attention turned in another direction for the benefit of his/her case.

Posts like the one you just made stating that we are from different planets tells me you are merely talking to get attention away from the basic facts and to provoke adversity.

For someone to honestly think that the phrase 'far out' is trashing, for your benefit, I hope you never have to come under the scrutiny of an aggressive attorney, whether it be in the form of deposition or a trial witness. I have witnessed many people with your type of attitude and opinion, literally crumble under the questioning of an aggressive attorney and totally blow the case for whomever the person is a witness for, plaintiff or defendant.

but that is what they want .. see if you are angry he who angers you controls you .. they want to spew hate and venom and look down on people so they feel better about themselves - I want some of the things that they want I just don't need to be a dictator about it .. I would love to see everychild in this US wanted so I want to do it with love and education and they need a law to behave I guess .. they miss the point entirely and start name calling and quoting some talk show host .. Al Franken is a comedian by trade. If you've watched Sat. Night Live through the years, you've seen him. Sometime after the election of 2000, he got a radio show on Air America, a liberal radio network. He's now a candidate for U.S. Senate in Minnesota.

Actually, I would have since the University of Pennsylvania gave me a free ride. Harvard is too far from my family and friends. Penn is only 20 miles away.
