*Hugs* to all the regulars in the coffee house and our visitors. I'm going to need a relaxing herbal apple cinnamon tea. LOL. I've been enjoying some hectic work days at the amusement park store I'm a supervisor in. We're setting them up for the season and changing them around quite a lot. I've taken down glass cube walls and glass shelves for the past two and half days...doesn't seem to be tiring work, but takes a lot of muscle work and lol very careful handling...lots of glass. (and a few prayers  ).

Today I enjoyed a game of kick ball (well okay we were kicking the ball around...close enough  laugh ) and then since we have some internationals we decided to teach them the game of Red Rover...it helped us learn their names. I love set up because we have time to do this and to have fun with our co-workers...during the summer...we have long hours and crazy hours can't have too many of those days of extra get togethers. But I am sore...hence the apple cinnamon herbal tea.

Hope all that has it has been enjoying the wonderful spring weather we've been having...obviously I have.

So its hard to be a friend of both sides of a relationship, I do my darnest in not getting involved...and usually they understand. But still...So if you will, keep my friends in your prayers, I believe they're both good people who I don't know if they're meant to be together but either way they will need prayers of support.

Okay so done with my rambles...for now. LOL if I went to an actual coffee shop I'd probably ramble just as much...so just making it seem real. blushing drinker flowerforyou laugh happy

Going back to enjoying my reaching into my childhood and watching "Lion King". LOL.

*God Blessings to all and *Hugs as well
Wishing you all the sunniest of days
The smell of rain on the air
And a rainbow in the sky
For Hope
For Blessings
For Dreams to Come True
And Peace in all thats around you.
*Random prayer by me

Hi Tiffa, nice to see your bright cheery self in here.
love the little verse you left.

Will keep your friends in prayer.

Yes, I have been enjoying the lovely weather, went for a
good walk last evening.

Stayed up late and got up early,

Enjoy your day, I will take some of that tea too I think.

awwww nice nurse of course not. Come and visit. We welcome all walks of life. Would have welcomed you yesterday, but I am sorry I must admit I came in and rambled bout myself again.blushing drinker flowerforyou But come in, stay awhile.

And thanks Britty for the warm welcome as always. So thanks for keeping the friends in prayer, as of now they have broken up...in some ways it might be the best considering they weren't very happy the past couple of months. But it is always sad to see a long relationship break apart especially during a long distance moment. I'm keeping them in my prayers and I'm trying not to get involved in either side but its hard when you're good friends with both sides.

Wishing you all a Happy Blessed Day...
-Tiffany

Well I wanted to report a little about my visit to the prison to see Angela. For those of you who don't know...I will give you a little background on Angela's story. Angela and her mom were beaten, and life was just a living hell for the both of them by her father. When Angela was 18 years old her mother and herself plotted to kill her dad. They had just had enough of the abuse. Well then he got wind of it, and the mother and the father together went to the police and Angela was arrested for attempted murder. She was sentenced to 7 to life in prison. Even though they never even got close to carrying it out. It was all talk.

You may think to yourself what kind of mother does this to her 18 year old daughter. A mean and nasty one I feel. Anyway go ahead 16 years and Angela is still in prison. Now she has come up for parole on many occasions but since she doesn't have a support system outside of prison that is where she will stay for the rest of her life.

Enter Steve, Marsha and myself. 2 years ago Steve and Marsha's daughter was arrested for holding hostages, and another long story but not the one that involves me. Anyway, Angela and Shawn were roomates when Shawn first went to prison. She told her mom and dad about Angela and begged her mom and dad to help her. ]

This is where I come in. Because Angela has another parole hearing in July, we wanted to make sure that the support team was in place so that this time she would be released. My next door neighbor Scott will give her a job, the church we all attend is behind her 100% and will give her the spiritual as well as fellowship support. I go to the prison to visit her every other Saturday to show the prison that she has visitors on a regular basis.

Angela humbles me every time that I go to visit her. She has such a spirit about her, and the most forgiving heart of any human being I have known. For everything her mother and father put her through, she is so willing to forgive because she knows that it is the best thing. And that God would truly be happy with that decision. Don't get me wrong Angela can be as tough as nails when it is needed, but underneath is just a gal that was so wronged by not only her parents but the system.

Angela was also the first prisoner to take a puppy and see it all the way through training to help disabled people. She has got a new dog now, and when she is released would like to go to school in order to train dogs.

I went with Marsha this last Saturday and Shawn and Angela and myself and Marsha had just an amazing girls day at the prison. Can you imagine eating out of vending machines where this is such a treat for the girls. Marsha and I just buy them everything and anything that they want. It's funny cuz something as simple as gum to us......Which is not allowed at all in the prison is such a treat for them....yea I sneak it in...giggle. But we had a great time, and I ministered to Angela as much as she did to me. It's a nice feeling to know that I am truly making a difference in someones life.....And I hope you all pray that this parole hearing in July will finally release this sweet actually innocent gal from State prison.

Debs, I can appreciate your concern for these young people,
but I couldn't help but wonder about:

"......Which is not allowed at all in the prison is such a
treat for them....yea I sneak it in...giggle" -
I have to suggest that is probably not a good idea.

I can only imagine if it is banned, there is probably a good
reason.

God bless you, for caring.

It isn't a good idea....and only did once....and her dad once....that is all....I can't risk it this close to her parole date......The nice thing is that the guards really love these two...but you are right britty not worth the risk.

Love’s Vision
By Edward Carpenter (b. 1844)

AT night in each other’s arms,
Content, overjoyed, resting deep deep down in the darkness,
Lo! the heavens opened and He appeared—
Whom no mortal eye may see,
Whom no eye clouded with Care,
Whom none who seeks after this or that, whom none who has not escaped from self.

There—in the region of Equality, in the world of Freedom no longer limited,
Standing as a lofty peak in heaven above the clouds,
From below hidden, yet to all who pass into that region most clearly visible—
He the Eternal appeared.

Question to those who hopefully know the exactness of some bible theorys as I am only able to give generallness,.
Over in parenting someon was being obnoxious and said garbage about how GOD condones killing children excetra..
(we all know this isnt true) What I need the exactness or advice on is what I wrote in reply and to know how close or how far off I was. I wrote that God wants us to discipline our children in love and only for the purpose of bringin them up to be good and morall people in this world and suggested that this person needs ot read the many areas of the bible that touch this subject beofre making a untrue statement. how close am I in my opinion of what the bible says about discipline and children?

Hello mamacat, welcome to JSH.
I took a peak into that thread, and saw you like
jumping in at the deep end.

you will get to know the characters.

I believe the bible gives sound instruction for the
christian with discernment.

I must agree that I do not think it should be necessary for
physical punishment at school, discipline should begin
in the home and that has to be with the good conscience
of the parent(s) involved.

What works with one child may not have the same affect on
another, but I believe all children have a "currency"
the thing that means the most to them.

Children need love, and real love does not mean giving
in to every whim.

Hope you will stop by again, feel free to chat whatever
is on your heart to share.

spare the rod spoil the child....But I also feel that just bringing up self sufficient, loving, kind kids means no need for the rod. Respect is #1 and that goes both ways, and do all discipline with love......and for me the most important is to have both of my girls feel good about themselves.....

THE CREATION
Author Unknown

When God had made the earth and sky
the flowers and the trees,
He then made all the animals
the fish ,the birds and bees.

And when at last He'd finished
not one was quite the same .
He said ,"I'll walk this world of mine
and give each one a name".

And so he traveled far and wide
and everywhere he went ,
a little creature followed him
until it's strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth
and in the sky and sea,
the little creature said "Dear Lord,
there's not one left for me ."

Kindly the Father said to him
"I've left you to the end .
I've turned my own name back to front
and called you DOG , My friend ."
