Hold on .. I am just inverting the world map .., apparently it is the cheapest and most affordable way to travel

Hope you are not feeling too dizzy or disorientated .

the first thing you will notice is that Nz (often left of maps ) is on top of the world (yay!!!!’) and Britain is down under bigsmile Apparently travel can change our perspective on life and when our world is flipped we gain a new perspective Have you seen the inverted world map ? How does it make you feel ? : http://travelinglight.com/upside-down-world-map/

actually is not fake ., the world is spherical not flat .. . the inverted map perspective originated from photos taken in space .

it is okay to have a closed perspective of the world .. after all it is your mind ... not everyone is open to a different world view . I love it :heart_eyes_cat:

How you view the world depends on your vantage point and which direction you are viewing it from

In space there is no "up and down". So if you approached the earth in a ship from another planet and the top of your ship happened to be toward the south pole then you would see NZ as being on top of the world.

Hahahaha, that's just too funny!

BUT... and this is a big but... we will not turn things around until wintertime in the northern hemisphere! We're not going to let you nick our summer!! We've been waiting for summer for 5 years. Or something.

What's the fun in a trip,
if I'm not dizzy and disoriented?

No reason north should be "up", really

The reality is that a world map turned up-side down is still accurate.

The top of the world is the top of Mount Everest.
The bottom of the world is the bottom of Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench.

I've seen maps like this. When I lived in China, many of the maps put China in the center of the map.

Something I've noticed while looking at world maps upside down is the fact the country 'tails' all seem to point South?
You would think the 'tails' would point toward the north and south poles with the larger mass towards the equator?

See the continent 'tails' and bulky tops...

Considering how the Earth is a spinning sphere, this doesn't make sense.

Consider this, In space travel depending on your approach vector and orientation, a planet can be 'viewed' from any angle. Most likely the 'first view' will be the orientation of any maps made for that planet.

This is really neat to look at. Thanks for sharing!

The magnetic pole shifts from the North to the South over time and then back again, so next time the magnetic pole is South everybody can get new maps (and compasses) that are in that direction. Mean while I can't read the writing when it is upside down so it's easier just to get a globe and tilt it as I need.

They should just print everything from the equator up one direction, and flip everything from the equator South.
